Thank you! That was very informative and helpful. Contrary to what a lot of people think, flux is not easily available in every country, I have to pay US $20 for 20 ml (that is four spoonfuls of flux). So I am looking into doing it myself and this video was great!!
When doing it even costs more with products that are more difficult to find than simply buying the targeted product that you are sure will do the job required. ^^ But thank you for this informative video.
One time I decided to collect the stuff from pinecones. It's on the outside of a pinecone. Little dots of sap. It quickly added up and in 30 mins I had half of a gallon size ziplock bag. They say that this sap from trees is where this comes from. THAT would be diy=no buy
@@moristo All I am saying is that buying rosin means it is not easily available. I get it, you wanted a clickbait title. And now I am giving you interactions on your crappy video. So you relax. Go create more misleading content.
In fact it is available and everyone easily to get it just by clicking resin items in the marketplace, pay the bill then the rosin will come to you, so you don't need going anywhere right. Please remember I have never said it's FREE, and I have never said everybody laying around you have a rosin.

Yes, it's pine resin, so electronics engineers would love to live near a pine forest.
But please, I don't have and never said "diy=no buy". I don't care how you easilly get the pine rosin to make diy solder flux.
Asikkkk😅
