6:26 Vault 11 genuinely sounds like the plot of some gut wrenching, physiological horror movie, and I want to see it... Seriously though, what the fuck Vault Tec? Who approved this?
War... War never changes, whether in this universe or an alternative universe, post apocalyptic or not ... And neither does corporate greed and corruption. I've been expecting a video on Vault Tec for some time. Hope you'll do videos on the Vaults soon.
Just gave Fallout 76 a shot and I'm actually really liking it so far. This universe, man, I love how dark and twisted everything is under the glossy exterior. New Vegas might still be my favorite though.
Did nobody at the enclave or vault realize that if they use most up there remaining people as test subjects, it would take at least a millennium to partly repopulate the country and during that time America could be easily conquered by an expeditionary force from a country that wasn't nuked
The American Oligarchs(Enclave) and Vault-tec did not just Nuke China into a country size glowing sea, they also nuked every country and every continent to make sure they remain as the sole super power when all is done.
I don't think Vault - Tec actually thought there was going to be nuclear war, after all it would be madness. They used the paranoia to get people to sign up for the vaults so they can experiment on various conditions that might arise during deep space flight and colonization, such as radiation leaks, overpopulation, food shortages, factionalism, disease outbreak, etc. hence the abundance of inhuman experimentation conducted in the vaults. The Enclave actually wanted the vaults to serve their purpose without experimentation, I'd imagine, since they'd want a bunch of "pure" humans to recolonize the former US after they exterminated the wastelanders.
@@TheMonkeystick Except that as far as the Enclave was concerned, Vault-Dwellers were just as sub-human as wastelanders and equally to be exterminated. Only the Enclave was "pure".
The plan was to leave the planet not repopulate it, but when they saw how shit everything went they opted to just wipe out the mutants on the mainland, retake the US and then eventually destroy all forms of Communism left in the world. Basically, Vault-Tec is one of the most evil companies in fiction.
