I think next week we're gonna break into doing "great" videos. It's on a faction of particular interest to you I'd say.

In the Fallout 3 game, the Enclave would have actually appeared as more legitimate and less full of shit if Colonel Autumn was 100% in charge. He cared more about the locals than President Eden did.
I would love to see some form of Enclave Remnant that has begun to act more like Lyon's BoS. Perhaps they tried to make a small town out in the middle of nowhere or an abandoned military base.
Their success and local strength attracts more wastelanders and a small town grows around them.

I think the Enclave are absolutely recognizeable to their pre-war counterparts. Less so in real-world terms, but the United States Commonwealth in 2077 was a tyrannical, hypercapitalist, militarized regime with little to no restraint.
Annexing canda was important
I agree. I kind of wish that the remnants of the US government had a larger role in Fallout than they do. Sure, it's nice to have more factions. But the Enclave should be literally everywhere, not a simple enemy that you knock out in one game. The US pre-war was immensely powerful and they would have planned for a nuclear war to keep their hegemony on the world.
A recurring enemy in the shadows type thing should be the Enclave. The kind of enemy that you can't really destroy, but can keep away long enough to have the feeling of being safe, but in reality you're really not.
@@hayax Maybe that's what has already happened, and they're so good at it that we literally don't notice. Like, in Fallout 4, the Gunners are just kinda there. They emulate a pre-war military structure and are suspiciously well-equipped. It's quite easy to imagine them as Enclave proxies.
the funny thing is , the US wasn't even really capitalist anymore, the needs of the war effort and the massive inflation basically turned the US into a government directed, planned-economy. Ironcally not too different from late-war China
@@zefft.f4010 not to mention they wiped out the miniutmen even though they didint really pose a threat to them. The only likely explanation to there extermination is that they posed a threat to the enclave since they tried to fork a united government that would of been a threat to enclave operations nearby especially with the brotherhood close by to the south.

Because of the faction ending choices in F:NV makes me wish in FO3 there was a "fight with the Enclave" storyline. Join the Enclave take the purifier with them and spread the FEV and root out the BoS assault the Citadel like you assault Adams AFB encounter random BoS patrols etc.
Also Halo has plenty of lore rich factions to explore. The Precursors, The Forerunners, Ancient Humanity (prior to activation of the array), UNSC, The Covenant, The Flood, The Insurrection, and lastly the Storm Covenant.
Did you just compare halo with fallout? Are you daft?
Rivery Jerald halo and fallout both have great lore and factions.

Kind of like the Empire.
They lacked the proper leadership, also if they treated wastelanders as US citizens, they'd be more loved and less antagonized
@@SCP_O5_7 Wastelanders are nothing like pre-war Americans. A lot of them denigrated into crazy people like raiders, tribals, and cultists, people the enclave don't want anything to do with. The rest just aren't really that useful to fulfilling their goals. In broken steel, they were shown to have picked up one guy just because he knows a lot about technology and robots
@@cs0345 true. The Enclave would probably be taken advantage of by them.
what did they do, new to the fallout lore
I'd love for the Enclave to return and become a force of good like F3's West Coast Brotherhood but with none of the dangerous religious zealotry that the Brotherhood tends to fall prey to.
I'm imagining a remnant of the US Military and civilians sheltered in a remote part of the country - Hawaii maybe? Honolulu would probably be hit by a bomb, but Honolulu isn't the only place people would be in Hawaii. They weathered the nuclear blasts and rebuilt while still retaining their duty to the Constitution. With lack of working pre-war technology to venture to North America, they remained isolated until they managed to build a seaworthy vessel that took people to California, where they witness the corruption of what was left on the mainland.
If I remember correctly, the Enclave did have many bases all over the country but the main ones in California lost contact with them
The West coast chapter of the brotherhood of steel was not "A force of good".
What people dont get is the brotherhood of steel is a simple merror flip of the Enclave.
Both feel they are right, both do bad things to uphold it.
If not for crap writing on Bethtics part, the Outcast "should have" out right attacked people who used advanced tech.

Cuz crap bethtic writing, of huge swaths of the US not established.
Despite what we want, NV is not cannin to fallout, because it delth with moral interpritation and human perceptions, as Fallout was always ment to be.
The western BoS are a bunch of Steampunks, and the Eastern BoS are a bunch of pussies. The only cool BoS was the texan and the midwestern because... well they were texan and midwestern.

one of the coolest factions in my opinion, I love playing the america rising 2 mod in fallout 4
I really miss them, although with all the bad things they did, they are just motivated with the intention to restore america, but the Enclave high command and their leadership had their own plans of restoring america but with much cruelty. They are still humans and knew compassion. But what happened to them after the oilrig and at camp Navarro was sad, not only they were defeated but they are shattered, mostly died and some became remnants. I really wanted them to return but this time with much more better tone.
I have a feeling we will see them again, and possibly with the ability to side with them.
My "headcanon" has always been that the FEV would have slain the severely mutated, like centaurs, super mutants and other deadly monsters while not affecting the majority of humans. It just makes more sense for such a method to be designed to target rampant mutation rather than very mild conditions that would have no lasting consequence on the human genome. If that were the case, the Enclave would logically deduce that the remainder are still human, allowing them to focus on rebuilding infrastructure, ecology, energy, law and order, and retaking the USA territory from raiders.
In the world preceding the Great War of 2077, rampant with corruption, fuel shortages and incredible world tension, and a succeeding post-apocalyptic setting, the Enclave had to adopt an "ends justify the means" worldview, otherwise the more brutal groups would dominate, a Darwinian world. However, with the Enclave's limitless resources (microfusion, no need for mass fossil fuel), advanced science/engineering and ability to locate former ties (like Vault-Tec, Big MT [matter replicators], Future-Tec [G.E.C.K.] and the Institute), the hell of the wasteland is no serious challenge to overcome with the right leadership.

Secondly, Caesar would've been the clear winner had the Courier stayed dead, FFS over half of the NCR's quests involve the Courier either stopping or fixing their messes that may or may not be the Legion's doing (the Fiends (who singlehandedly manage to severely weaken if not outright take over McCarren if the Courier doesn't deal with them), the radio leaks, the monorail bombing, etc.). Thirdly, the NCR brought in their entire ranger force, so they were clearly going all in with the battle, only God knows where you got this idea that were only using a fraction of their armies (they even admit that they weren't able to fully recover from the first battle, even though the Legion is stronger than ever now), so please do everyone a favor and STFU. Someone with such a hard on for the NCR has no place debating the lore
The Enclave are probably on a space station, underwater base and/or scattered throughout the USA, like Chicago.
ah yes the good guys
What you said in the last part that there's a hidden on enclave base is further strengthened by the creation from the creation club of the X-O2 Power Armor from Fallout 4
Sneed
Stunning. Brave. And , dare I say , based
This was very entertaining! Great work! :D and many thanks for the awesome video!
Cool vid. You'll have 100k subs in no time with stuff this well edited. I subscribed.
I hope the enclave wil return in fo5 there my fav faction
@Enclave Soldier lmao
We never left
You guys make great content and will continue to watch you in 2018.
Hey man, I just found your channel and I love it! Its stylized and informative and has all the makings of an amazing channel. One thing I would work on though to make your videos more appealing to the general audience and increase your popularity is to find a way to give your videos a little more "umph", include some intresting to watch animations or visuals, or make it so that the story telling is more captivating. But other than that you are doing an amazing job and Im gonna probably binge watch all your videos here in a sec.
Glad I found this video. I just wanted to know the backstory of the Enclave and most videos I found didn't get to the point. Great style of video and I love the whole "database" aesthetic.
Autumn's Enclave is the only Enclave that makes a bit of sense to be honest
@Enclave Patrol Yea, in my opinion the biggest flaw of Fallout 3 is that you couldn't actually join the Enclave, despite Autumn more times recruited outsiders to work for the Enclave
Holy shit the quality on these
Great video. Now I need to go and watch all of your videos, especially the Hawkins Lab one. If I may suggest another subject I suggest Westeros or the Valyrian Freehold
Hello!
Your CIS video over at StarWars Explained brought me here! I binge watched all your videos and subbed right away! :D
Awesome work! I could listen to the voice over for hours on end...
I have several suggestions for more vid's:
For Fantasy:
- The Hidden Kingdom of Gondolin (Simarillion)
- The Highelven Kingdom Ulthuan (Warhammer)
- The Empire of Tamriel (The Elder Scrolls)
and The Kingdom of Azeroth (Warcraft)
For Science Fiction:
- The Union Aerospace Cooperation (Doom)
- The Breen Confederacy (Star Trek)
- Darth Revan's Sith Empire (Star Wars)
- The Yautja Tribes (Predators)
and The Zerg Swarm (Starcraft)
Hope one of those makes it some day!! :D
Keep up the amazing work!
The Enclave were so close to purifying the wasteland and saving Anerica and the chosen one just had to fuck it up
“Dear old friends, remember Navarro.”
This was absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work and if I might make a suggestion, do a Brotherhood of Steel one of these
very entertaining and i like that you left the future of the enclave open ended
The enclave did nothing wrong.
Of course
Just discovered this channel. You did a great job on all these videos. My question is: Could you maybe do a video on the twelve colonies of kobol (Battlestar Galactica)
They are definitely on the list!
Right off the bat, pretty interesting beginning message.
My dream of an Enclave restored still lives! Great vid and pretty cool channel! Subscribed for sure!
The Empire from the Elder Scrolls series
We'd have to specify which Dynasty
There have been several empires in Elder Scrolls based in Cyrodiil.
The reamon septim dynasty? The alesean empire? The septim(non reamon) dynasty?
Pre merithic or post merithic?
Also each race has wildly diffrent takes on what happened over the past 4000 years so the biggest question is who are you asking?
If your asking a human pre merithic era they were wondering elnofay at that time and didnt have true terestrial form yet until shor(lorkahn) gave them purpose. Thus it was ruled by gods and demi gods! However i forget what happens before reamon septim conqoured tamreal yet after the fall of lorkhan and the decending of gods into the mythos from nirn to aetherium.however year 1 starts the day the septims conquered tamreal and sat in cyrodil. But after that is all sort of dynastys from the aleasians and their terrible cult to talos(hjal early beard and ysimir working under 1 name the people mistook for a single person) who was a shezerine(shor incarnate) to many interignums(many kings fights for leadership and for like 200 years the place was ruled by a single akaviri snakeman!
This chick doesnt have enough time in her life to make a proper story about that topic and get it largely right, zaric zahkaron has a 20+ episode saga spaning 3 years on this topic alone let alone the elderscrolls universe which his channel is 80% about i suggest you watch that if you acually are interested. However there are already like 3 really good chroniclers of that lore on youtube.
Yes,yes this will do fine.
The Cyrodillic Empire, you fucking nerds. Yes, that includes Alessia, Reman, Septim, and Mede.
do the EDF from red faction next please or the combine empire from half-life or anything you want to do next
EDF would be pretty interesting. Still don't understand why they're so oppressive of martians
I think the reason why they are called the EDF is because EOF sounds stupid
whoa those were the best 10 min of lore I ever watched. Could u do the institute and the CIT next?
The background music made me want a Fallout movie, from the perspective of the Enclave
