Building a Custom Splitter for my Porsche Cayman!

In this video I will be showing you the process of how I made my custom front bumper splitter out of 1/4" abs sheet for my 987 Porsche Cayman S with a Pandem wide body. I might try 1/4" aluminum composite next for longevity but the abs will hold up great for a long time. And if I do decide aluminum composite, I now have a template to make that process much easier. I ended up adding some more brackets to the splitter later on so it's still track worthy and functional. Functionality was a big priority with this build.

Looks great! You can use a tapered bolt head protector called a "Rock Dome". It makes sure your bolt heads don't get damaged. They are usually used for off road skid plates so the bolt heads don't get rounded off, plus it creates a nice clean look to the bolts sticking out.

You did an excellent job. You could consider wrapping the splitter in carbon fiber film. This might give a very finished look.

Looks sooooo sick. You can cover the exposed abs edge with “door edge trim” and it makes it look super clean.
