- Tough one, but fun to play. Thank you for watching.

Beautifully done. Keep shredding brother 🤘
Nice work, brother.
You seamlessly switch between playing with your fingers and using the pick, that was amazing
Thank you honeyblunt. I appreciate that you say this. My performance is not perfect, but I've seen other covers where they use a pick for all the parts and it just doesn't sound as sexy as it does in the original recording. So I made sure to practice this.
You really got the Lynyrd Skynyrd sound mastered, I would love to see you play "Gimme Back My Bullets" and "You Got That Right" The lead guitar on those songs are incredible
U nailed that solo perfectly bro 🤘 big ups for that and homie in the back was fw it too Lmaoo that’s great 😂
Thank you so much man! My homie is my best dude, judge and audience.
Well done man!!...
wow. really good!
Thank you Anthony!
Awesome 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you very much. You have a great collection of covers. Keep it up!

Pretty good job. Needs a little attention in some areas.
Thank you. Yes, the overall performance is decent, just somewhat unpolished and inexperienced. The improvements will show when I'll start posting again soon. Thanks for the sub!
@davidgibson4000
I found that listening to a song over and over on home and auto speakers with the bass rolled off, and the balance rolled to the strong guitar side better trained my ears. Also, watching live footage of the original artist also helps a lot.
Software that drops all the other instruments from the mix helps but ear training is the best.
Damn man, you nailed every part of the actual recording. Even the missed note at 0:55, that was brilliant :)
Hey thanks! I kept paying attention to its sound and I find some weird satisfaction in recreating such details.
@@davidgibson4000 I’m the same way, haha. I’ve got most of the song down but I’m using your video to guide me along the solo. You definitely hit every note that Gary did playing the lead, fantastic job!
@@alexmartin0824 I'm so glad you said that. One of the main reasons I do these videos is for others to use them as a tutorial. Care for those slide notes before the start of each verse. I missed both haha! And thanks for the sub! I'm practicing the hell out of the next song. Cheers!
👍
Sheesh, You captured that tune with awesome technique and attention to detail. And besides your ability there's the instrument, im so curious to know what it required, if anything to get it up to your standards? Im not going to keep hawking you about it but really awesome stuff, I had to subscribe.
Thank you Tim! This guitar is pure stock. Eventually I took it to the shop cause the strap failed me, the guitar dropped and it caused a major crack near the head stock. While at the shop the guy said it needs some set up (the neck was leaning backwards) and that's all that has been done to this guitar, which by the way was many months after I did this video. I just made sure I had the guitar volume knob turned to 6 to give it that vintage distortion sound, not much bass and the gain was set to 6. This is me at about 16 months into guitar playing (I was just a strumming open chords guy and that was 20 years ago too). If I was patient for a few more weeks the performance would have been even better. I am now waiting until I reach at least %98 of performance accuracy which is why it's taking me so long to upload new stuff (I'm getting close). Thank you for checking out my stuff. The guitar is a Harley Benton SC-450Plus VB Vintage Series if you 're curious.
@@davidgibson4000 16 months sheesh you missed your calling brotherman. Yeah I saw it was a Harley Benton and I've considered ordering one that's why I asked you. I play a prs se which I love, I've heard the HB's are about the same quality as the prs students. Thanks for the info I'll watch more when you upload. BTW I saw where a guy ask you if you're guitar was pricey and your answer was about 200.00 I lol'd out loud and noticed he didn't reply.
Truly I missed out. Still, one of the best moves I've done this past few years is buying this guitar. It's helping me in a lot of ways. PRSs sound amazing but far from my budget for now :) The guitar looks pricey and a lot of people think it's a premium priced one hehe. Try to upload some stuff. I'm also working my skill with the acoustic and try to open my voice bit too. Cheers
And with a last name like Gibson….
Nice job man. What brand is that guitar?
Thank you Zach.
The guitar is a Harley Benton SC-450Plus VB Vintage Series. It is the house brand of Thomann.
@@davidgibson4000 looks pretty nice. Was she pricey?
@@zachb5508 About $200
Do Face The Day - Great White next?
I have a few other songs lined up, but I consider all recommendations. Thanks for checking out my video Rhody. Your suggestion is pretty bad ass.
what amp are you using
A small Harley Benton HB-20R.
@@davidgibson4000 sounds very close to the actual song i like it. If I had to request 1 song it'd be gimme three steps
@@ryanclarke772 I'll check it out Ryan. I'm already fiddling with Cry For the Bad Man. Skynyrd is alot of fun on the guitar!
