- As many of you will know, I absolutely love V12 engines.
All of them.
In GT racecars, roadcars and F1 cars. They just sound the best.
So in this video I wanted to list GT1, cup cars and "trackday racecars" (like the FXX and Zonda R) from the 1990's to now.
Today is the 12th of december (12-12) and at 12 o'clock this video went live. :)
I realise that there are a few cars missing, but it's not easy finding one of those driving around on track let alone just seeing one of them at a show.
Nonetheless, enjoy this glorious V12 orchestra.

I really consider that Lawrence is a cancer for motorsports, but I think that someone from the AMR leadership is going to try to negotiate with Lawrence
to race in WEC (and probably IMSA) with the Valkyrie.

I'm afraid that we might have seen the very last one of them bite the dust when the Vantage GT3 called it quits a few years ago. Sure, some privateers are still running them, but now it's a matter of time.

Also FXX sounds more like old F1 car instead of Zonda with smaller Mercedes AMG engine.

These all sound good but that Pagani Zonda R is just absolutely on a whole another level. The only cars that sound just as good is the 599FXX Evo and the Essenza SCV12.

My favorite thing about BMW engines is that they are perfect. Listening to them at any RPM, they sound perfect. I really love hearing them in the McLaren because they are a perfect engine

The issue with a lot of these V12s - as much as I love them - is they're large capacity therefore don't rev very high given GT1 regulations. Bring back the F50 GT with it's wailing 4.7L!
That's where Ferrari engines come. +8k is Ferrari territory :)
@@Count.Dracula46 even the 550 GT1 cars - my all time favourite GT1 car - only revved to around 6750-7000rpm max because of the regs. It sounded great but could have been even better

I'm conflicted about seeing those Mc F1s on a track. They were made to race, and not just sit in some garage or showroom. But, if they get wrecked in a crash, I feel like its tatamount to destruction of a priceless historical artifact lol

V12s were glorious in f1, they were absolutely amazing. But I still prefer the V10 f1s. Damn those V12s send such a emotional and satisfying feeling. I've never hated these v12s and I wish to hear them both in person.
