The second worst day of my life was the day we went with our Sunday school class for a picnic and volleyball on the beach. My husband and I were constantly counting 1,2,3 counting our kids. All of a sudden I looked up, and our 4 year old daughter( one of the twins) was gone!!! We all dispersed and hunted up and down the beach, snack bar and bathrooms. I was just walking up to the pay phone to call for help, and Buck, wonderful Buck came walking up the beach with her. She had just toddled off looking for shells. This was in Galveston at the State park. I cried all the way home. I have never been so scared in my life! For those who are curious, the worst day was the day my 17 year old was killed in a freak 4 wheeler accident. Wait for cocktails til you get home!! Be safe y’all!❤️
I can’t imagine tht kinda loss I’m so sorry from one mom to another🫶. Kids especially don’t realize danger they just think it will never happen to them💔
Couple on the beach... The woman says " I wanna make sure my kids are taken care of", after she looses sight of them for being hammered drunk and passed out. WTF is happening in this world???
I really hope that detective reports the supervisor for firstly wasting police time and for overstepping his duties by giving advice throughout his interaction with the dads.
Regarding the golf cart incident, it’s frustrating to see cops waste all that time trying to explain the basics of the law that every 12 year old knows. Did it really have to take all that time to explain what happens when you get arrested? lol The first 20 minutes of this video was excruciating
It's not frustrating at all - maybe 20 minutes is a bit much BUT at least they took the time to explain to the fathers who had never been in this position before. They were right to ask questions about what's happening and their rights. At least the situation was handled in a professional manner on both sides. Why would every 12 year old know the basics of the law?? At that age a person should know right from wrong - if you do something bold / wrong you get told off and there are consequences for your actions whatever that is these days so you don't do it again. Yes children have committed serious crimes but end up in juvenile centres / prisons or go onto adult prisons but that's only in extreme cases. As the one father said "you see it on TV all the time in various programmes" but when faced with reality - it's totally different.
You clearly don't know many 12 yr olds. Kids aren't smart. That has always been true, but it's more true these days than it ever has been before. Kids know more useless things, yes. But do they have actual life skills that will be a benefit to them in society? No. No they do not.
The first video was beyond weird. I don’t understand why the supervisor was so focused on babying the dads… their sons are adults. Ask them where they are, and if they don’t tell you, move on. You know the kids are staying with them while on vacation, so watch the house and talk to the boys directly when they return home. All the coddling and handholding was just so strange. I’ve never seen a cop so worried about making a family member of a suspect comfortable and reassured that everything is alright. Like I understand telling them it wasn’t violent/no one was injured, but the rest was completely unnecessary
OK, I can’t stand the pressure! In 1967, my friend would steal his father’s car, and we filled up at the golf cart pump. He never noticed because we always left him with more gas! Now, I will look out the window waiting for ten years!
I'm sorry, but that first police officer way waaaaay too nice. Letting them have the biys picked up away from home essentially allows them to keep up the facade of not having done anything wrong. That's essentially an example of not taking responsibility so I see where the boys get their behavior from.

It’s so cute to see cops treating adults like children, even moving the prisoners around to avoid scaring the neighbors.
To be fair, a lot of adults tend to act like children. Saw it a lot when I worked security in a casino, and now I'm seeing it even more now that I work as a mobile security officer patrolling section eight housing.
@@Suisfonia The problem here is the police giving a lot of concessions to both adult men. Have you seen much of that around here in the other videos? It’s a matter of different treatment, not about how people tend to behave nowadays.
@Bruno-rm4zq Disagree.
You missed a LOT.
I thought it was kinda nice to see cops trying to be human. To bad the visor dad was kinda thick about it.
You get drunk enough to pass out on a beach. You leave two kids unsupervised. And you have the nerve to freak out that the cops won't take care of them?

That was f'in' hilarious!
When you bring kids of 7 and 8 years, you go on vacation and you act like adults.
“I wanna make sure my kids are taken care of” if that were true they wouldn’t have been left unattended in the first place💀 passing out on a beach for spring break is not for parents that have their children with them especially young children they’re lucky the kids were not kidnapped
Or drowned! They later found the kids in a hotel swimming pool.
Passed out drunk on the beach and now she is worried about her kids!
My dad would have busted my jaw.
My father would have absolutely pretended not to know me and let me rot in jail!
The amount of privilege those first two men received is astounding.
Yeah that really rubbed me the wrong way!😒
Every situation and office is different it is what it is and you have to like it because you aren’t a part of it.
Those cops enjoyed freaking out those dads way too much
That whole time I just kept getting more and more annoyed. What 99% of of cops would have said "Sir, you are now impressing an investigation. Tell me where your son is or you're joining him in the cell."
@@jacktaryon388 "impressing"? Do you mean "obstructing"? I'm not an English native and never heard the word "impressing" in this context, so I'm seriously asking.

Regarding the 4th part with the drunk couple, if you have a 7 and 8 year old, you don't get to go on "Spring Break" and passout on the beach. That's for college kids.
I thought the cop was cool until he equated not talking without an attorney to not be remorseful

He let her dogs out, he says. Yeah, they were dumped at a place they don't know. Real kind.
The dogs ran straight inside the gas station to their owner who went outside (thinking they'd somehow gotten themselves out of the truck) to see the truck pulling away so thankfully it doesn't seem like they were hurt or running loose for long!
Those dogs are smarter than Mr. Arrested Twice in One Day, for sure.

Is the police man allowed to advise on remorse to dad when discussing lawyering up?
Dad was having none of it anyway. You can't teach someone remorse (on the spot,) it's something instilled as you are growing up. For law abiding people it doesn't make much sense, but if you're the sort that often ends up on the wrong side of the law, to remain silent is the best advice.
That chuckle the one dad did when the ringtone started playing sent me; The other guy was not amused.
my dad would had the cops come right in front of our house and would had called all neighbors out to see me get arrested. that is why i knew enough not to get caught.
I’ll never understand the attraction to alcohol and getting drunk..not everyone who drinks gets drunk and acts like a fool..personally I can’t stand to be around drunk people it’s not fun at all..
My brother hates being drunk, he even tried weed once, hated it. He doesnt like to feel out of control like that. Not that he has control issues lol just over himself. But he likes to sit downwind from me smoking cigarettes, just says he likes the smell lol. Weird guy, love my brother.

The supervisor just LOVED telling everyone that he is the supervisor MULTIPLE TIMES!! I believe he may have some sort of complex going on...
He earned the title and people in other countries citizens are proud of their police
I think it was to avoid getting the father's worked up and escalating and wanting to talk to someone higher up it might be an expensive area where people lawyer of or hide their kids from consequences
Come on vacation, leave on probation and return on revocation 🤣🤣

this was absolutely ridiculous. shame on the police for not just doing their jobs, especially since they said the "boys" were adults!

Talk about privilege...they took them across the street and waited to arrest them..... meanwhile other kids are being arrested for nothing!
the couple asleep on the beach with their kids and not watching them is fookin crazy disgusting.
That perfectly timed ringtone going off lol
the supervisor is throwing his detective under the bus. what an untrustworthy supposed 'boss'
43:20 how is the dude that was just found passed out, drunk on a beach, telling the cop that is working, that he doesn't know anything about work?
Painful to listen to all these people.
You’re telling me these two fathers didn’t ask their sons what they did they have no idea?
OK, I can’t stand the pressure! In 1967, my friend would steal his father’s car, and we filled up at the golf cart pump. He never noticed because we always left him with more gas! Now, I will look out the window waiting for ten years!
That dude driving his truck into the ocean was pretty lucky the officers didn't get him for DUI. They didn't seem to want to be bothered.
Mental health crisis’ do exist
I bet it happens often.
Never mind what he was charged with - how did the van go through the sea in those conditions in the first place?
"What am i going to do on a cruise by myself on my birthday"
Get drunk. Meet a guy. Hook up. Hopefully meet someone better.
I'm sorry, but that first police officer way waaaaay too nice.
Letting them have the biys picked up away from home essentially allows them to keep up the facade of not having done anything wrong.
That's essentially an example of not taking responsibility so I see where the boys get their behavior from.
