After a certain age DMV should require periodic road tests and / or have a doctor sign off on person' cognitive and decision making abilities needed to drive. I have MS w/ hand controls and my neurologist has to sign off yearly stating that I'm still able to safely drive. Plus DMV recently required me to retake road test to prove competence with hand controls. Seems this should be a requirement for everyone beyond a certain age, as the consequences from accidents due to incompetent drivers is just too high.

Forcing? Everyone has the right to refuse those tests. The majority of attorneys tell you to refuse them regardless if you’re completely sober or not. The majority of people can’t do those tests perfectly sober.. much less after having drinks. Sure.. you will probably get arrested for refusing the tests but you’re more than likely going to get your case thrown out because they lack the evidence proving you were drunk without a reasonable doubt. On another note.. nahh. I think she was drinking and was over the legal limit. Just from her speech and her movements. She had even admitted to drinking a little bit.
