If it's anything like pharmacy? A DUI SHOULD blackball her. Cant have any drug charges nor outstanding DUI convictions for I believe 3-5 years before qualifying/requalifying for consideration.
It's not that interesting. It is highly inappropriate for a cop to give any legal advice. First of all, you have the right to counsel already. Second, it could confuse someone into having their rights violated, which would not only be a big No-No for the cops, but also probably ruin the case
It means this new generation can't even deal with little life problems, they all have to be on anxiety pills. They need to tell people tuff crap, your going to have anxiety in the back of the police car I guess.
Everyone has anxiety. It's literally an emotion. Most of us just know how to deal with it That's partly the fault of big Pharma too. You just have to mention being nervous once and you're on a bunch of pills. But you're not wrong about the newer generations. A lot of them can't handle anything, but it's because a lot of them have never had to
I saw a lady do this perfectly. had one drink 3 hours prior and was arrested anyway. She was not under the influence but had to go through the abuse despite her protests. The cop was rude. No charges and she did not sue.
Wow…since I’ve been in nursing school they’ve really lowered the bar. Chamberlin college of nursing doesn’t give masters degrees. Also, the nursing school doesn’t receive “ arrest letters”. The state board of registered nursing will do a background check and find her conviction. They would find her conviction for her previous arrest too, and she won’t be able to take the NCLEX (state board exams to get her RN license).

Honestly, watching most of these as a non-US person is wild... Seeing how cops treat different folks, then also the amounts of videos with people that clearly lack mental help, that they probably needed a lot earlier in their lives to get to that point and stuff is insane. Also some of the comments are also wild.
I wish this was the case here. I love our police, but the penalties for drunk driving us ridiculously light here, especially when compared to other countries. Our court system is a joke 😔
Sure then she went on to lie about how much she had to drink, cry for daddy, a sheriff, lie some more, brag about being the caption of some team ...which impresses her so she repeats it over and over then lies some more, then once again tells the officers her dad is a sheriff... meanwhile she's unwilling to take any responsibility for being utterly irresponsible...however, she watches Law & Order, the TV show....so there's that...sure honesty is fab!
The fact those cops who arrested the NYPD's daughter for DWI, telling the cop father that her offense is really no more than a speeding ticket....when she's literally turned her vehicle into a 1,000 whatever pound killing machine, is DISGUSTING. And so utterly offensive to all the many many people who's loved ones have been k*lled by drunk drivers.
The girl and her ex-cop dad have absolutely no respect for the police. He's on the phone trying to get involved whilst she's being arrested by continuing to give her instructions whilst the police officer is trying to give her instructions. Then she tries to insinuate that she's in some sort of "danger" from the officer as he's driving her to the station. Even though she knew that she was being filmed by the in car cctv and on his bodycam. Dad must have been one awful cop as he never taught his daughter not to drink and drive or to respect even to his fellow/former colleagues. He then has the nerve to turn up to the station like him being there actually made her situation any better, forgetting that he's a has-been with no power whatsoever!!! 🤬🤬🤬

@@Chris-ic4ue That's nuts but there are other crimes here, not just the DUI. Leaving the scene of an accident is serious no matter what state you live in.
A DUI not being a criminal offense is WILD
@@twocentstomlinson4967& don't forget reckless endangerment 😮
@@Chris-ic4ueNew York and Wisconsin as well actually. You'd think in such busy places it would be a bigger deal. But surprisingly, they're actually pretty low down on the list of states with worst drunk driving type of stuff.
"Dad is a police officer" ??? And? These kids are soo entitled.
OMG Another drunk driver in the nursing field.
Yep, you would drink too if you had to put up with all the modern day conspiracy theorists/internet doctors who know better than those who spent many years learning and in practice.
@@TitaniumTurbine I forgot to add Driver. Not just a drunk. Which makes it a thousand times worse.
Between drunk doctors and nurses, it’s no wonder medical malpractice is one of the leading causes of death in America
I’ve learned that so many people in the medical field are alcoholics and cig smokers.
@@TitaniumTurbinehuh
"My mother is a cop", "my father is a felon", "I want to go to jail in this dress", "I'm too pretty for jail!" 😂I give her credit for the funniest statement.
“That’s alright, I’ve seen law and order”😂😂
So she's a lawyer 😐
Persons don't trust the police andi I agree
It goes to show how popular that show really is, sooo many people get their understanding of Miranda rights from that show alone and have no idea how it’s applied in the real world
"My mother is a cop and my father is also a felon" talk about opposites as parents 😂
Says a lot about the mentality and education of the mother.
Sounds like that’s probably why Mom is a FORMER police officer.
Yeah, I had to replay that a few times! 😂 I Wonder if he introduces her parents, “my mom is a cop, my dad is a felon, both full time …”
“My fatha’s a puhlice awficuh. 🥴”
Okay, and? Lol. Also, is traffic light girl wearing her pants backwards *and* inside out? 😂😂
I wondered the same.
With bedroom slippers
Certainly looks that way.
Lol no she has her hands in her pockets
Yes, she did. At the end when she was handcuffed I paused it & her pants are backwards & inside out.
If anything i would think families of cops should feel more scrutinised, not feel less scrutinised because of it.
I crashed because I'm emotional?!?!? Seriously!?!? This is a new one and utterly ridiculous.
There should be another charge for name dropping. Could be some type of bribery!!
Nobody is above the law just because that person has law enforcement in their family
Real life situations don't always agree with your theory.
She didn't want to go to jail in that outfit, but its okay in public?! She didn't want to look like a street walker?! TOO LATE!
"... but its okay in public?", I am shocked anyway by the way young women dress in the States, unflattering and mostly completely tasteless...
... women ...
Lmao my dad who is retired officer now. Before he retired anytime I was talking to a cop or stopped not once do I ever brought up who my dad was at the time. There is no reason to I'm an adult I am responsible for my own actions.
“I’m the captain of the soccer team”
Constantly seeing that the bulk of the charges are dropped. Great way to ensure that the behavior continues. 🙄
Exactly what I was thinking. Sure they're arrested. But by they get in front of the judge, the charges are considerably lowered or gone altogether. I think it should be the opposite. If your family members are law enforcement, you should be held to a higher standard!
@AnonymousAmyMakes if they don't hold cops to a higher standard why would their family members be
💯💯
“My mom’s a cop, my dad’s a felon.” This is a love story I would love to read.
In New Jersey all you get is a ticket for drunk driving?
I know, right?! Need to move to Jersey!🤨
@@aveleedeleon7694You don’t need to go anywhere near NJ. Instead, how about just stop drunk driving before you kill someone who didn’t deserve to die for your actions?
criminals get let go for everything in nJ just like NY
Nope, most of the time it’s license suspended for some period of time. The second time it’s a longer period, the third time it’s jail.
@@TCherice Right! I was also thinking, that's a reason to never be in a vehicle in NJ! Clearly the NJ judicial system doesn't value innocent lives (neither do drunk drivers).
“My father’s a police offer from MIPD, I don’t know if that matters?” NO!! It doesn’t!!
It shouldn’t
“My uncle is a detective…”
When your “get out of jail free” card falls flat.
I disagree with everything your uncle stood for coward
If she’s a nursing student then shouldn’t she know how dangerous it is to drink and drive.
How is it not criminal to drunkenly knock down a traffic light and then leave the scene?
@@Thessair her dad is a cop
I know! I couldn’t believe he said that
She was charged with knocking over the traffic light.
When the charges were read, the last one was failure to report a traffic accident.
Gotta love seeing a Wawa parking lot in the thumb nail.
Gotta have a Wawa!
I'd be like, "my dad's a cop. Is he gonna find out?"
Me too! I’d be more nervous that he’d find out instead of going to jail!!
Real sad that their expectation is that they'll get away with it, rather than the fact that they should especially know better.
Spot on!!
The guy that got in the accident sounded like Scooby.
Im teaching my kids its never acceptable to lie.
The first drunk lady…..why do you keep saying you’re a nursing student? Has nothing to do with you drinking and driving, it does absolve you from breaking the law….I’m an RN, if I get pulled over I’m not going to say “I’m an RN”, your family didn’t drink and drive your car into the woods! If you can’t control yourself and conduct yourself better then this then you shouldn’t be a nurse!
Why do we keep letting these adults have their mommies and daddies come comfort them during a DUI arrest?? WHY?!
I have multiple relatives in law enforcement and if i wss in trouble for a DUI, they will be the last ones i would call. 😂😂
One day that 3rd year nursing student will see the consequences of drunk driving while working in the ER. Smh
She won't be able to work as a nurse now. I doubt she would be able to get a license. She was probably kicked out of her program.
If it's anything like pharmacy? A DUI SHOULD blackball her. Cant have any drug charges nor outstanding DUI convictions for I believe 3-5 years before qualifying/requalifying for consideration.
The other guy was asleep.. he wasnt driving. Dont they tell you to pull over and take a nap.. 😂😂😂
That 1st ones hair needs a citation as well
I’m sorry but if one of my parents were cops I would take the consequences and beg that didn’t inform my parents 🤣
Interesting how cops will say they can’t tell you what to do but will also arrest you if you don’t do what they tell you to do.
It's not that interesting. It is highly inappropriate for a cop to give any legal advice. First of all, you have the right to counsel already. Second, it could confuse someone into having their rights violated, which would not only be a big No-No for the cops, but also probably ruin the case
Having a family member in the police force would 100% stop me from getting into trouble because of the embarrassment x 😅
I didn't know being anxious if you're pulled over for a ticket is something you need anxety pills for.
A lot of them can't handle anything, but it's because a lot of them have never had to
If you had three or four shots of liquor it's still going to be in your system three or four hours later
35:00 her father told her never to get into a cop car when there is only one cop in it…I bet he didn’t mean IF SHE WAS ARRESTED
This level of lieing is a new kind of delusion. The girl who hit the traffic light has no accountability experience. Shame on her parents.
My mother is a cop , my father is a felon. 😂
"No I don't want you to let me go, but I DO want you to let me leave!" 🤯🤦🤣
Idk why, but I get so embarrassed when people say "my so and so is in law enforcement etc". 🥴 They think it makes a difference lol so bizarre 😂
Thanks for the info. I was wondering how that works
Thank Goodness!
“My father said never go with one person”. Well what does he say about drinking and driving?
But my question is, as always, why do drunks hate trees so much?
When the girl at 27:45 got pulled over in Rumson and said she was from Staten Island, I thought, “I bet she’s coming from Donovan’s.“ 10 seconds later: “Where are you coming from?” “Donovan’s Reef “
In Sweden, everyone who is involved in an accident must take a breathalyzer test, even the police if they are involved in an accident.
Same everywhere bar for USA it seems
Honestly, watching most of these as a non-US person is wild... Seeing how cops treat different folks, then also the amounts of videos with people that clearly lack mental help, that they probably needed a lot earlier in their lives to get to that point and stuff is insane. Also some of the comments are also wild.
I wish this was the case here. I love our police, but the penalties for drunk driving us ridiculously light here, especially when compared to other countries. Our court system is a joke 😔
no fear no favour. full time nursing student, full time job, full time mother. That's a neat trick!!
Girls pants are on backwards…coming from a guys house lmao
inside out too, i think!
Noticed that also
No favour should be shown to any relative of an officer or for an off duty officer either
“I’m the captain to the soccer team” SO WHAT!!!
When are people ever going to learn not to drink and drive?
Got to love the honesty. lol Suspect: “Hi officer. I came from Applebees. I had a drink.” 10:00
Well it worked ..her charges weren't what they should have been
So it’s all people who have never had to take responsibility of their actions…
“Does this have to be like this?”
My father is a felon, therefore I know how the law works.
I suppose that does make sense in a very twisted way.
The League of RNs worldwide disowns her.
Schools of Nursing do not recognize this subject.
This does not reflect on the nursing profession.
An absolute embarrassment.
She should have taken accountability like a champ and not drag her family OR nursing into her mess. At least that would have been respectable.
~RN of 16yrs
Agreed! As a fellow nursing student ❤
"I hit a deer in Pennsylvania"
"You also hit a traffic light"
The very moment it became a detective story. I don't understand how these guys remain so patient, I couldn't do it.
A FULL TIME MOTHER, NURSING STUDENT AND MOTHER SHOULD NO BETTER THEN TO DRIVE DRUNK. YOU MAY LOSE YOUR NURSING LICENSE AND KIDS GO TO DCFS.
As a fellow nurse…I wouldn’t have her touch my pet fish yet along take care of other living humans.
*let alone.
Our children were sternly warned that they were NEVER to name drop their father's name as a way to escape consequences for their actions. That nonsense doesn't fly.
When they say “I know my rights”, they definitely don’t.
" I'm the captain of the soccer team."😢
" Oh! Why didn't you say so! We'll let you off now. "
🤦
Sobriety tests are a waste of time because they still go to jail. Even if they passed, they'd still say they failed 😅
They never pass.
I don’t want you to let me go!
I just want you to let me leave.
