they are so similar to eachother it surprises me that they haven't done this before batman would be the best mentor for spiderman
I'm pretty sure Batman would get annoyed by Spider-Man, since Spidey does like to joke around & talk a lot, but in fairness Spidey & The Flash are pretty similar to one another in terms of personality, so I'm certain Batman would get used to Spider-Man after a few hours.

I always hated how the MCU films always have a joke where the characters always make fun of superhero names, despite being literally comic book films. It just kind of feels insulting, especially towards certain characters like Spider-Man for example.
@@Asaylum117 perfect example of something like this is in infinity war, when Spider-Man justifies going to space by saying “how can I be the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man if there’s no neighborhood to protect” and then they pause and then he’s like “I know that sounded dumb but come on”. That wasn’t dumb, that’s exactly what Spider-Man would say in that situation, yet it’s played for laughs like he’s some stupid teenager saying a dumb thing. Yet when tony says something on an equal caliber he’s worshipped as a god of wit and wordplay.
@@haha-lj5sq The problem I personally have with MCU's Spider-Man is that he feels more like he's Iron Man Jr., then he does as Spider-Man. Not to mention that a lot of the jokes in MCU Spider-Man films feel pretty forced & they keep treating the secret identity thing as a joke, until No Way Home showed the consequences of what would happen if Spider-Man's secret identity is revealed. Not to mention I honestly didn't feel anything when Aunt May died in NWH either, because in the previous films she was always treated like a sex object, then an actual well written character. MCU's Spider-Man in all honesty is my least favourite version of the character, of course there are worse versions of Spider-Man in media, but he wasn't really my favourite, since the character in the MCU films barley felt like how the character was originally envisioned by Stan Lee.
Batman would be horrifying with Spider-Man's powers.
The ability to travel along walls and sense danger alone would be an insane boon to his terror-based skillset.

Batman, Superman and Spiderman have always been my 3 favorite superheroes ever. To see Batman and Spiderman working together like this is awesome. Is this actually canon? If so, I'd love for this to become a legit even deeper and more compelling storyline.

That was actually partially touched upon in the comic where both Carnage and Joker reminded them of their parent/uncle's killer.
To be fair, apart from both suffering similar tragedies that shaped who they are, Spider-Man and Batman as a team up also works as Spidey gives a similar vibe as Nightwing, or even The Flash (who Batman has also teamed with as much as he has with Superman.)

Batman with a Venom symbiote would be so fitting. He’d use it as a true last resort where he NEEDS superpowers, then put him away like a gadget. On top of that, they both dress in black, and Venom could be a visual representation of Batman losing his restraint. It’d only make Batman seems scarier too.

This was a great crossover and a really fun read my only problem with it was Batman being able to beat Carnage in a fist fight! That's BS! Otherwise beautiful artwork plus a fun story equals a great book!
In that so called ‘REVAMP’ of DC’s New 52 with Capcom and Shonen Jump thrown into the mix, I’ll like to find the way to adapt this comic, with some ‘licensing’ changes, for example:
Spider-Man and Carnage would arrive into the DC universe through a inter dimensional portal, and the story would pretty much the same from there. After the ‘action’ before Spider-Man was ready to return back to his dimension, Batman and Spider-Man would get to know each other and share blueprints for technology. Like Batman would give Spider-Man blueprints of how to create his very own bat-belt to carry his arsenal, while as for Spider-Man would give him blueprints of how to create his very own web-shooters for there are more versatile than a grapple gun. 🙂

It wouldn't be as deadly as Cletus whom Joker even said was crazier than him.
Keep in mind Cletus kills randomly and called Joker a Hack to his face for " Playing the Game!". Also remember, if Batman's dead, he'd quit being the Joker. Carnage on the other hand, locked himself up in jail to avoid Deadpools crazy. Let's also not forget Carnage is like a 80s supernatural terror- a living nightmare on Elms Street with Friday the 13th mixed in with his 'Godly ' powers. Cletus is just another character with " One Bad Day!"
