Like when Spiderman loses it and all the villians go "Wait, this isn't how it goes down! Stop please!" @@virgilio6349 Yep! The villains focus on the all-around annoying jokester that Spider-Man is. He mostly just avoids attacks and jumps around and webs them up. But people often forget, and I mean often, Spider-Man when you think of it is a pretty damn Terrifying Individual. You have a man who can climb up walls, jump 8-10 meters in the air, fast enough to cross the entire New York in under 5 minutes, more agile than a Olympic level gymnast, and Can lift over 15-20 tons. (More under extreme stress.) Peter is just a good guy, even kaine or Ben Reilly stated that when either him or kaine are coming, they know how to prepare. But if it’s the original Spider-Man, they panic. Even Sandman who is basically almost a omega threat, is scared of him.

    • @Dewani90

funny enough "The Flash"'s rogues gallery knows not to cross that line, they won't kill, nor people nor the flash, because they know, the moment they cross that line and kill the hero, there will be another one to replace him and that hero might not be so lenient, you have to royally piss off the rogues so they consider killing someone, something Inertia found out the moment he appeared again after killing Bart Allen.

Just to show you how the Rogues are different from the Sinister Six. They once invited Flash himself to a party after they all got released from Jail. Flash also did his best to help save Captain Cold's sister, and when he succeeded Captain COld himself retired from a life of crime and became friends with Flash. The Rogues are great. Most villain teams like the Sinister Six don't really like each other that much and just work together because it's their best bet to beat the hero, but the Flash Rogues are all actually friends who aren't even that evil for supervillain standards. They don't want to take over the world or anything, they mostly just want to do heists and stuff like that. They have the kind of banter and team dynamics you'd expect from a super*hero* team, they just happen to be villains.
And hey, one of them (Evan McCulloch, the second Mirror Master; they have the same costume, but the easiest way to tell them apart is that Evan has a tooth gap and a Scottish accent) is a Grant Morrison creation, that's cool (Morrison didn't write for Flash if you're wondering, Evan actually comes from their Animal Man run but he eventually became a Rogue because the first Mirror Master, Sam Scudder, was a Rogue)

The All-flash comic says that impulse is trapped in a suspended animation that takes him 100years to blink, but it never states that Wally is willing to leave him like that forever.
After he is properly humiliated for around a year, in Rogues’ Revenge #1, Inertia is already being transferred out of the museum to a new prison in Iron Heights (even before Zoom saves him) implying Wally eventually planned to free him from the suspension.

Usually the "no killing" thing heroes like to do irritates me because it's foolish and horribly backfires the overwhelming majority of the time but this is one of the few instances where I think it's a good one.
Though it still has plenty of potential to backfire.

The no killing rule on DC usually makes sense. For example Superman doesn't kill because he simply doesn't need need to. He is so overwhelmingly powerful that he can stand to let a villain live and have that villain NEVER pose a threat.
Lex Luthor is a great example, even with access to Kyptonite, Superman has fought him so many times that he is now capable of one shotting any of Lex's power armors faster than the Kryptonite can start having an effect, while still holding back enough that the shockwave of his attack does not harm a single cell on Lex's body. Lex himself is more harmless than a fly to Superman, and only poses a problem when he gets other villains involved.
Batman doesn't kill because he feels that he has no self control, so if he killed he would literally became DC's Punisher. It's not a matter of morality, but a matter of mantaining his sanity.

And yet how many instances have villains broken out of their respective prisons and then proceeded to wreak havok until they're tossed in prison again?
      Too many to count.
This is why it is stupid.
If Batman simply killed The Joker instead of playing their little game how many lives would have been saved?
If Superman simply obliterated his enemies like he very well could in most cases how many earthshaking or even cosmic level catastrophes could have been prevented?
While some entities may come back from the dead or survive due to BS hacks for most villains being vaporized by Superman or getting a bullet through the brain is permanent and they cannot hurt anyone anymore.

@@AeronHale Actually none. Superman has killed aliens already. For example, he killed Doomsday when he "died" in Death and Return of Superman. There was also a dangerous alien creature he killed that was that was hunting down people. Superman is only averse to killing rational beings, because he believe they can be saved with the right method. He will kill monsters and he will villains who prove to be really irredeemable. Such as when he killed a version of Zod whom he tried to stop, and who didn't really stop until he murdered half of the entire population of that Earth. So Superman straight up killed that Zod and his followers as they escaped to go murder people of yet another Earth.
Lex Luthor however is not irredeemable, rather his main issue is Superman's mere existence. Lex Luther has proven to be able to do good, however he is absolutely irreducible when it comes to dealing with Superman. He wants to best Superman at all costs, even at his own sacrifice. There is a story where this pretty much happens.
Where he is Given the powers of a God with the promise that he should forget Superman. Lex Luthor actually does a lot of good with those powers, but he simply cannot help himself and challenges Superman, as the fight proceeds, Superman begs Luthor, recognizing that Luthor is capable of being a force of good, but even though Lex slowly loses his power, that is now greater than Superman's, he doesn't stop, wishing to defeat Superman once and for all. Lex corners Superman and is ready to defeat him only to lose all of his powers and dies in space, much to Superman's dismay, who tried literally everything to convince Lex that this fight wasn't necessary and he had a greater potential than himself already. Lex preferred to die defeating Superman than become a savior loved by everyone

    • @AeronHale
      @AeronHale Рік тому

Dude The Joker on his own is responsible for hundreds of deaths that could have been prevented by Batman simply offing him.
Not to mention the other members of Batman's rogues gallery.
One example that comes to mind immediately is Jason Todd. Batman had many chances to take out The Joker but didn't and it bit him in the ass BADLY and has done so on other occasions too.
As for Doomsday that is a crappy example given that he IS a walking hack that becomes immune to whatever killed him last so he is one of the examples of enemies that cannot be put down in a permanent sense.
Lex Luthor is also a special case because he more or less as you said is only really out for Superman.
But Superman has had multiple opportunities to take out a lot of the big names among DC's villains.
The line from Batman “If you kill a killer, the number of killers stays the same.” only makes sense on a philosophical level but on a practical level it is fairly easily countered by considering that if they have killed once or multiple times already then they will likely do it again and that removing them from the equation is the least risky gamble and removes the potential of them doing anymore.
This is of course not considering instances of self defense or otherwise justified homicide. As those sorts of things do happen.
