@@saffron584 It's true, though. Superman has never needed to breathe in the comics. He can fly through space forever as long as there's a sun nearby. He doesn't even need to eat or drink water. He only needs solar radiation to stay alive. This writer forgot a lot of important DC facts.

Oliver thinks Batman didn't have a contingency for him because he didn't perceive him to be a threat but I think it's actually a nod to Justice League Unlimited, Batman was very adamant about having someone to keep the league in check and he had his eyes set on Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) for that role.
So in actuality it's not that Oliver isn't a serious threat, it's that Bats believes wholeheartedly that he's the one person he doesn't need a contingency for.
Green arrow is the most like Batman out of everyone in justice league

@@603840Jrg I didn't like how the CW show did Green Arrow. They literally gave him the attitude and demeanor of Batman when he's supposed to be a lighthearted comedian, like Spiderman or the flash. He's not the "dark broody" type. Oliver Queen is supposed to be like Robin Hood in the way he acts and behaves.
He didn’t have a serious plan to take him down but he did have a plan in one of the comics on how to defeat all the heroes in the justice league and for green arrow it was “break his arms”
Green Arrow is my favorite DCU hero. I don't know why, I just really like Daredevil and G.A. type heroes/vigilantes. Even with the "break his arms" plan, Oliver is still a major threat with how easily he can adapt and overcome with certain compromises.

I've come to accept that the purpose of Captain Atom is to show up and die so as to raise the stakes of whichever story he's in, kinda like Sean Bean.
Captain atom is essentially the most powerful science based super hero in DC but DC always have to do him dirty.

I'm actually kinda tired of seeing Superman always getting tore down because his sense of justice doesn't involve killing people, taking over the world (or destroying it) and inevitably being defeated by his own hubris, because no one can ever be that perfect
We can ignore how he had to kill his father and simply wanted to hope that others could be saved
This superman is a gigachad, but I can't say the same about Injustice Superman, thinks destroying everything will fix the problem
Well that’s the point. Superman is the symbol of hope. He’s more human then most humans m. And one of the kindest people in DC. He’s not perfect but he does his best for humanity. And best what the heck was he supposed to do? There wasn’t a lot of stuff that can stop zombie flash. And they literally wouldn’t have time to think up a plan.
The funny thing is Superman is just a really buff, humble dude that uses his muscles to help people because he was raised well but turned up to 11. At no point has he ever been portrayed as some sort of paragon of virtue.

5:28 why didn’t they just send him to the Phantom Zone when he’s in there:
1. he can’t hurt anyone which is the most important thing
2. we all know things work differently in the Phantom Zone, in Injustuce Superboy was on the edge of death after his fight with Superman but after he was sent into the Phantom Zone he live just fine for years until they killed Zod and gave him a heart transplant. So maybe Superman zombie turning progress would stop too if they send him there and they’ll might be able to save him in the future if they could find a cure
The thing is, they were on a strict schedule and with most of the Justice league killed, Lex not being around anymore to actually stop superman, and superman is now a very violent and unstoppable force. They only had very few options to actually stop him so their best bet was to leave superman alone to follow them, kill him, or figure a way to phantom zone him with a battle between the Amazon's and Alantians and the evacuation of earth in a single moment.

But Superman build Fortress Of Solitude in the arctic and Captain Atom exploded in i assume Metropolis, that is like a few thousand km away from the arctic there’s no way he can destroy it

I loved this series so much. Green Arrow getting upset that Batman had no contingency plan to take him down if he became a Threat.. and then one shotting Arthur on his entrance and saying "Fuck you Batman" was some highlights. Also when I saw Flash turn, I was like "Oh shit, the fastest man alive is now the fastest virus spreader to ever exist now" I like how the villains during this also were doing things for civilians and kids to help them. Solomon Grundy had a heart of Gold. :c

Flash tries to only have time travel and mulitversal reset as a last resort since it tends to mess things up just as bad if not worse. But by the time it had been the last resort he was already infected

so superman is invulnerable enough to absorb all the solar radiation from the sun but not durable enough for his invulnerability to stop a hand stab from the flash
Flash didn't exactly penetrated his fingers but rather vibrated it on light speed.
The dialogue in the story also spoke of what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. That's why they both were able to cut through each other
Flash hadn't trimmed his fingernails in a while.

I would love to see an story arc where someone as powerful as (crazy) superman and confronts him, and somehow the dude was hiding in plain sight all these years without anyone knowing about his powers. There is a chapter in Marvel X-men where (I don't remember what) crashes in the city and buildings during the days of mutant persecution, and during the crisis turns out lots of people had powers and fly, run, climb walls or become invisible while running away.

I’m so glad Batman didn’t survive the zombie Apokalypse. For once Batman isn’t center stage stealing the spotlight and writers making Batman look better than everybody by making other heroes look bad.
I don't get this illogical hate for Batman, why do people make the "losing hero is better hero" argument when it comes to him? The whole point of Batman is the fact that he is underestimated next to people with powers, he doesn't have any powers to use accept for his natural human abilities. These abilities are underappreciated next to reality warpers, and people that can throw city buses. He doesn't walk around beating all these people up, but for some of these individuals planning is the best thing he has. Half of the tropes that Batman and Superman are constantly portrayed engaging in, I regularly betrayed bye characters such as Hulk or Ironman but you never hear these complaints about them👑
@@DArtmanreignz That's because the DC writers overshot when making Batman the underdog. He's not the underdog anymore. Because almost everyone expects the writers to come up with a BS plan for Batman to win or to dumb down other superheroes and villains (especially Superman) for Batman to come out on top. This is very obvious if you've been following these characters for a long time.
For example, look at Superman in his solo comics. He is intelligent and gets so creative when solving problems with or without powers.
And look at the comics where he is with Batman... for some reason the writers forgot that Superman has a brain that can process information faster than a super computer and has used it against brainiac, darkseid and lex luthor countless times. Whenever he is around Batman he is turned into a child with superpowers. And this goes to other superheroes who are around Batman as well.
Superman doesn't breath oxygen, he breaths sun radiation apparently.

Who ever wrote this volume series not only is a genius, but i believe the writer left a insider or a mesaage to everyone about the internet and technology and what people have become in today's world.
