Elly Buruma Believe me, I probably would've done what this guy did. He had squatters and deadbeats living in his house. The justice system for this whole thing always favors the rentee so its just sad it always comes to this.

That is a great idea! But A&E probably wouldn't let the show go; I assume it brings their network a good amount of viewers, as this is the only A&E channel I watch. Bringing this or the show COPS to netflix would be awesome
But then, A&E couldn't regurgitate shows like "Live PD: Rewind, Live PD: Women On Patrol, or Live PD: Police Patrol".😎
They have the Canadian version of cops. Like 8 seasons I think.
A&E is on Hulu already so they’d probably upload them there before Netflix but I got Hulu too so I’m good with either lol
The so called "assailant" had a more coherent story than the supposed victims, lmaooooooooo.
Why might that be? It could have something to do with being hacked up with a machete I think. I see that as being potentially stressful and disorienting.

Call the police yourself after you defend yourself and swear out your own complaint.
Not that was on camera. The entire investigation takes more than 4:28. I'm sure they investigated it during the interviews. If not on scene, then at the hospital. Not everything makes it into the show.

A neighbour down the street a few years ago killed a man with a stab to the kidney and got the book thrown at him, now, they were both unhinged psychos, but the media left out the little detail that the guy was defending himself from another adult running at him with a metal pipe because he told them to be quiet. Neighbours can drive you crazy.

When it's you-said- vs- they- said with no witness, they have to go by the evidence. It probably was self defence, but if you attack first with a weapon, cause a bunch of injuries, and don't have a mark on you, your going to get charged.

Another one where it seems the wrong dude got arrested, this show's great for showing that the system doesn't inherently get it right

At least they didn't initially arrest him. There's a chance at justice here.
But chances are good those two will both lie about what whatever happened well enough to make the sword guy pay the price regardless.
A lot of times the cops will believe the side that got injured worse, which is a really really bad way to look at an encounter like this. Maybe the guy was just faster.
They are cops for a reason, they can get real jobs
They didn't arrest him, they detained him until further investigation was completed. They said that IN the video. Not everything makes it in the video. We have no idea what the outcome was. You're welcome to look it up yourself.

ash 098 no they can’t. They actually can’t have any weapons whatsoever in the rig or in the station. You have to think, they get a lot of psych patients.... that’s asking for disaster. Emts are there to help the wounded, cops are there for further protection. When one starts doing the others job for them it becomes messy. There are certain circumstances ems is not allowed to go on scene until cleared by law enforcement, if they aren’t comfortable going into a scene or moving forward without law enforcement they can also stand back waiting for them.
Moral of the story...do not steal socks...
