KYOTO, JAPAN: Rainy Day in Kyoto and Shopping in Gion

After spending the night in Arima Onsen Town, we headed to our next destination, Kyoto. The past 5 days have been really tiring thus we decided to just have a pretty chill day.
We arrived in Kyoto Station around lunch time and had lunch in Nishiki Warai, which is just one of the many restaurants in The Cube, Kyoto Station. I've been craving for okonomiyaki since our first day thus I was really elated when I've finally got to try it. It was so good! I would definitely recommend this place for okonomiyaki in Kyoto. After lunch, we checked in our awesome hotel, Hotel M. Est. Nanajo and after resting for a bit we headed out. It was a pretty rainy day in Kyoto thus we just decided to go in just one area which is Gion where we did some shopping and ate matcha ice cream even though it was raining haha. We also checked out Yasaka Shrine even though it was raining pretty hard and because of the rain we just went back to our hotel and had dinner and drinks in the craft beer place near our hotel.
