Sometimes when you buy such a device is because you are with full on symptoms, like myself. My sinus pain blurs my vision so it’s very nice to have very clear and easy to follow directions visually. This is a great apparatus, too.
Very informative video. Im a chronic sinus sufferer. I just purchased this gadget and came across your video to learn how to use it. I'm a visual learner. Thank you for the video
So much better than those years of having to fill our entire room with steam ruining any of our various audio/video equipment! 😄 Anyone know if you can use some salt in this for a saline steam? Thank you so much for the nice straightforward video!
Thank you for this video! Has anyone ever had an issue with the hood not sitting right? I came here to see if there's a trick to it, but seeing it done effortlessly on this video makes me wonder if I just have a defective Hood
Good video... You don't have a link that I can see. If that's correct you are plugging a product and just leaving money on the table. Hope you are getting affiliate fees from Amazon. I just don't see a link.
Hi there, this is a very helpful video. Just wondering does the steam inhaler help ease the pain for people who suffer from chronic rhinitis/sinusitis? Kind regards
The warm steam and menthol is very soothing. Just a personal recommendation, this product has been very very helpful to me for preventing sinus infections. However, it's very dependent on using it every day - even if it's just one spray in each side of your nose. www.amazon.com/Xlear-Nasal-Spray-Sinus-Relief/dp/B000M4W2E6/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=xylitol+nasal+sprays&qid=1575768322&sprefix=Ylitol+nasal+spr&sr=8-5
Hi! I have a couple questions. Do you replace the vapor vicks pad every after use? Or you just leave it inside until it becomes smaller? Also, could I clean the parts with sponge and dish detergent (fairy liquid -uk) instead of vinegar? And what part cant i wash? Thanks !!
Officially, they probably want you to replace it with every use. Technically, you could use the vapor pad until it is no longer helpful - it's potency will decline.
It is soothing if your nasal passages are very dry and sore from too much air conditioning or dry weather. If you have an actual sinus infection, you may need to use the neti pot or something like that.
Cleaning is covered toward the end of the video. Once a week put 2 and 1/2 tablespoons of undiluted distilled white vinegar into the reservoir. Let it sit 10 minutes and then empty it, rinse it out with tap water, and wipe it dry. Store device in a dry cool place.

Don't. It will ruin and will coat the heating element inside. Don't ask me how I know.

How’d you get on with it?
Did it help? Follow through
I don’t have a nebulizer so I added albuterol solution to a little water. Seems to work fine. Same concept

Cuantas veces se usa el papel del mentol
I would think at least a couple times..
Can i use it without vapour pad?
Yes. The steam is still soothing for sinuses.
Becareful if it spills on you, it will leave severe burns. My niece has been for badly by this machine, and had to go to the ER.
Excellent warning. The device should not be moved when using it..

I don't sell the product. But, it can be found in the pharmacy area of Walmart or on Amazon.
can you use vaposteam vaporising liquid to the vape bad thing? like a cotton ball dampen by it or something?
I haven't tried that.
Thanks
How long does it make steam for in only 2.5 tablespoons of water? And can it be used again immediately after the steam runs out?
I have used it twice. But, I would let it cool a bit before adding more water.
Ty so much 🎉
You’re welcome 😊

You probably have polyps like me. Go to ENT and have an operation
Can u send me the link in description box ..
Game changer right here!
What do I use to put in the bottom to get the steam
I use distilled water.
did you like how it worked for you?\
Yes. It is very soothing especially if your nasal passes is get very dry and painful.
Thanks for taking the time to reply Blessings@@Jean78578
Omg this whole time I been putting my face right on it and wandering why it was so uncomfortable and burning my skin/ marking it
I can’t fit the lid on smoothly like that. Still having trouble.
Does it break up mucus pretty good or does it take more than one use to really notice?
It helps open sinuses. I also use the XClear saline spray - especially after it rains or it's windy outside ..
IT HELPS ME FOR BRONCHIAL COUGH BUT NOT SO MUCH FOR CONGESTON I USE MY NAVAGE FOR THAT IT IS AMAZING AS WELL
I was really hoping to know if it worked.
That depends on your condition. It is soothing.
Can you use albuterol in this

Sponges are usually germy. You could use an alcohol wipe....
WORKS GREAT!!
How have you found that it works TechAngel ?
It is soothing if your nasal passages are very dry and sore from too much air conditioning or dry weather. If you have an actual sinus infection, you may need to use the neti pot or something like that.
Clear and precise. thank you.
Is this good for asthma if you don’t have an inhaler??
Yes the warmth should relax the bronchial tissues.
Can you use it without the pads? Just the steam?
Yes
Yeah you can actually!
Where can you get more vapor pads, because I think the box only comes with that one
Walmart and Amazon carry them. Search for Vicks vapopads..
I wonder if you could use eucalyptus drops instead of the pads?
I would ensure it's medical grade and approved for sinus tissues - since it will be inhaled into the nasal passages.
Can we put some Vicks in it. is it recommendable or not
I would not..
Safe for kids?
I would check with a nurse or doctor. Also, close supervision would be needed as the center is heat producing.
is this good for post nasal drip?
Can you use saline solution in this device, or should I get a standard nebulizer?
I believe this device is just to create steam to soothe sinus passages.
im pretty sure you can just put vaporub in the bottom art no?
Does it have to be distilled water ?
It's recommended to make sure the water doesn't have any bacteria/germs. I think it would be fine to use boiled water (after it's cooled).
So this will help vocal chord recovery right?
I don't think so. It might help soothe the upper throat. I'm not a doctor but I would say rest (no talking) and warm herbal tea.
FWIW, my speech pathologist recommended this for a combination of dry vocal cords + muscle tension dysphonia. It does seem to help quite a bit.
@TechAngel How do you clean the area where the water goes?
Cleaning is covered toward the end of the video. Once a week put 2 and 1/2 tablespoons of undiluted distilled white vinegar into the reservoir. Let it sit 10 minutes and then empty it, rinse it out with tap water, and wipe it dry. Store device in a dry cool place.
@@Jean78578 is there an alternative if you dont want to use distilled vinegar? Like washing it with sponge and dish detergent? Thanks!
Ty
Dios mío 😱 I love it
Can you send me a link for instructions
I must set it at the highest setting to get enough steam.
It failed for me
There is no steam coming out
It does take a while to warm up..
how many treatments can a Vicks pad be used for ?
The listing for vicks vapopads on Amazon states 8 hours. So it's hard to gauge..
Hi how do you clean it ?
She tells u in the video with distilled white vinegar
awesome
Hmm I can’t get my face part to seat properly
❤
I want vicks sinus steam machine how I bought and isn't sellers adress
They are sold at Walmart or on Amazon. This is just a video review of the product.
