Steve Cutajar I take the cable off at the hand lever by removing the hand lever. That way I can just stick the clutch cable in at the engine and there's plenty of slack to do it. I might carefully use a small hex key to get the wire in. Then I put the lever end of the wire on the removed lever and age it back into place from there. Done

Is it necessarry that the big hemisphere (not the small sphere in the middle) on the pressure plate is intact? Mine has a little dent!
