GUYS WHAT MISTAKE DID HE DO im changing my clutch and the clutch doesnt sit well in the crown, im struggling putting the clutch and the crown back in together, it seems like the clutch pack doesnt sit well in the crown,
U need to loose the clutch springs and put it in then when its in adjust the springs...we just did it an houre ago same problem ;) with original springs u can do it normal reinforced ones have much pressure. And the way i just told u is required
@@PochiRS please keep in mind that the Rotax 257 is a single piston engine. It has almost 60HP I believe but not many high rpm, I believe. Aprilia made an enduro RX 250 with the Rotax 257 but it was a prototype, never produced at the end. A friend of mine that worked in Aprilia at the era have seen this prototype and used it in the backyard of the company. Aprilia wanted also to make a street motorbike RS250 using their GP 250cc engine champion on the world but they were unable to civilize it. The engine was too much brutal and powerful and there wasn't a method to make it smoother. At the end Aprilia made a joint venture with Suzuki and made the two cylinder Aprilia RS 250 based on Suzuki engine. Anyway if I find a Rotax 257 on sale I will contact you.
@@PochiRS I’m going onto search for you, do you need an exhaust for it aswell? I’m seeing like 3-5 engines every year. Some of them also with mounting kits and exhaust. what’s the price you would pay for it incl. shipping?
Why post a video on which youre making a mistake ? Some people might not look in the comments and realise that its wrong then theyll put the clutch back in, put oil in and realise that they have to re do everything.. nonsense

I think you forget to offset the top clutch plate. In the early video @3:50 the top clutch plate is place at a different slot.
I agree, I was about to comment the same. The top disc goes into the other slot (the one that is not so deep).
