Definitly one of the best Tutorials i have seen on youtube when it comes to lighting in UE5, Accurate, Simple and well organized, I can't wait for your courses on the new website inchalah, Keep up the good Work Karim, May Allah Grant you Success.
Jazakallahu khair. Thank you so much brother Karim. I'm just wondering, is it okay to use emissive materials only to light our scene using lumen and megalights?
@@ExposeStudioID thanks buddy, I wouldn’t use emissive sources only because they generate artifacts and noise and they are not still consistent in results. Try adding at least small actual lights with them to get rid of this issue
Could you help me about how to modeling pieces for interior renders ? Like; I use to separate but one piece the walls, celling and floor for baking lighting. But I think in Lumen scene I should use more small pieces of floor or etc. not in single piece right or what ?
Lumen works better with separated objects to be able to correctly process the information about the mesh cards so the smaller the pieces, the more precise results

Thank you mate!
Can it be used for flashlights in multiplayer or is it not recommended in that case?
I'm not entirely sure about that as it's still an experimental feature, we expect to get more updates soon with newer versions
Great
Thank you :)
I hope you enjoyed it!
is any chance use mega light with out hardware raytracing?
Based on the documentation, you cannot use it without HWRT because it's a mandatory setting that has to be enabled
@@KarimYasser sad:(
Does it mean that we don't need that much GPU performance in games?
@@s9209122222 it should be better yeah, but this feature is still experimental so we cannot expect a lot from it right now
