Nice, Moved to Florida (originally from Bama) sold my 4x4 before I moved. Just got me a 87 F150 inline 6 with a 4 speed (granny gear aka Stump Gear) SMALL lift on some 33'' baja claws. been out in the dunes and mud pits all day! Gotta love a FORD!
Nice truck. I remember when I learned how to swear at the ripe old age of 7 lol. But really sweet truck. Got myself an 89 rolling on 35" MT 300 I6 4speed love it. Its officially named money pit but itl go threw anything and plan on a whole lot more upgrades for trails/boony camping
Man I miss my 88 so bad I got in a tight spot when I was younger and had to sell it but I look for that truck almost every day online now and I can't find another one with the inline 6 and 4 speed for sale lol
yeah, i'll admit the mudding we did was a bit mediocre, but truth be told i've never lived in a big city. the little kid filming? well, he never gets to do this shit so of course he's gonna get excited over every puddle we go through.
At least the boy is out getting it muddy and not jacking it up and putting stupid rockstars on it abd lowprofile "mud" tires on it and afraid to get mud on it...i applaud you my dear friend.i also own a 84 f150 4x4 300 6 with granny low fourspeed
I had an '87 bronco 300 L6 with the granny 4. The truck rotted apart but I kept the drive train. Hoping to build a tube chassis trail rug around it someday. Nice vid.
you'd be surprised how much abuse these trucks can take. i used to do this shit all the time in the 3 or 4 years i had that truck and the only thing that went wrong was a blown shock. everything else like the drivetrain, steering, and suspension components are beefy as fuck! way thicker than any other 4x4 i've owned. i appreciate your concern though and i can assure you that while i did have fun with her, i didn't flat out abuse her.
Like a true pro mudds with the window down. Hell yeah i got the same truck as that with the same size tires lol except mine didnt come with a tailgate.
the TTB suspension actually beats the ball joints to death in these trucks (i have an '88) they are tough as nails dont get me wrong, but the stock suspension is definatley not as beefy as the 70s solid axles were...either way badass truck man, looked like fun!
@ArcticRenegade yeah he is, and thanks...it's sad really, the last 4 minutes (all filmed on the same day) was the last time i drove that thing...i miss it
this ones an 83 but they made generation 7 til i think 87. the generation after was fucking ugly but the one after that didn't look too bad. my fave though is the 10th gen short bed single cab 4x4
"Now this here twelve-year-old is powered by 5.4 liters of profanity"
Little brother narration is the best part of this video "Holy sssshhhhhhhiiiittttttt!!!!" Lol!

Yeah.. you just cant kill a 300 straight six.. the head is prone to cracking if u overheat it though..but tht bottom end is bullet proof
"By God look at dis- I dun shit all ova da floor"
@Stuka87 the muddy road was Esmeralda Rd between Angels Camp and Murphys. The last 2/3's of the vid was at the abandoned quarry at Camp 9

I feel like taking my 1986 Ford f150 4x4 6"lift out mudding. I just recently put a 302 HO out of the Mustang GT into my truck last year

This'll sound weird man but are you selling that f150 by any chance?
Sorry, your about 9 years too late
@@KlaptOutOffroad damn. beautiful truck though.
I only have about 3 more years and I will have a truck like this
Are the tires/wheels and suspension stock height ?
It had either 30 or 31" tires (cant remember which size) and 2" spacer blocks under the front springs. Rear suspension was stock.
For all you complaining about his potty mouth, no one forced you to watch it, boy's talk like that no matter what you think.
That lil girl is cussing now, wait till mom and dad see this
I'm guessing its the 302?

they were 31" all terrains, which are a little larger than stock
open front and rear
Where is this???
Various places within Calaveras County, CA
this ones an 83 but they made generation 7 til i think 87. the generation after was fucking ugly but the one after that didn't look too bad. my fave though is the 10th gen short bed single cab 4x4
