RST rider Paul Cassidy deemed a 'very lucky man' after NW200 2024 crash. Cassidy landed on a car bonnet after being flung from his bike following a collision with another rider at 120mph.
Captured on camera, The Isle of Man TT rider was sent cartwheeling through the air at 25ft, escaping the incident without any major injuries.
We caught up with Paul at the IOM TT 2024, just 2 weeks after his NorthWest200 crash, to talk through his now viral and iconic NorthWest 200 crash.
"All I was thinking at the time was I need to jump, do not hit that wall. I didn't even think about the car or the house behind it".
"After the crash I got up, I shrugged myself off, and there wasn't a scratch on me. That's a big credit to the RST leathers. Without the safety in those leathers, would I be here? I don't know."
