I was surprised when I did this one that it made the group cover photo! There were a few differences in your approach which I, with hindsight would have used: masking fluid, card technique and softening after spraying. Thanks for featuring mine in your video,too.

I had my darned foot reconstructed on Monday so paintings will take much longer , I can’t stand for long only using a scooter or crutches and can’t bear weight for 6weeks ! It’s a doozy ! Watercolor Wednesday is good therapy for me , and something to look forward to during my recovery! Thank you again !!

and just after watching your video, UA-cam suggested the one in which King Charles III talks about the artistic talents of the various members of the royal family. Watercolour seems to be a royal hobby. The documentary is called "Royal Paintbox". An hour went by very quickly! What a lovely afternoon today: I'm delighted.

LOL I was just going through photos looking for a potential subject to paint. I thought a water scene (boat, buildings) with a reflection would be fun. However, I wasn't sure how to go about painting reflections in water. So, I thought I’d ask you for a demo. Whoa, you read my mind with your current demonstration! Few months ago I visited Yellowstone park and took a picture of cabin with beautiful mountains behind, this scene is one of the most painted scenes in America. I have couple nice pictures and I’d like to see your painting interpretation of it if you have interest let me know I can send them to you.

Absolutely fabulous, Paul. However, you need to star me in the movie, as the handsome, angry, bitter, handsome, lonely, handsome man who owns the property. We find as the movie progresses that he is bitter because Margot had been his lover and she left him to become a missionary. Now she is pushing for people to have access to the church. After the court trial, it is revealed that Margot was always a Trans lady, and then I jump in the lake.

Wow, magic! And all the techniques I've learned here.
So I went to the pharmacy (the one 15 metres from my building 😬) and bought myself a scalpel. Now they see me as a serial killer, I have to change pharmacy… I must vary my suppliers (that's what serial killers do 😈).
For the opening of the film, I see a world-famous artist, sitting on his little folding chair, painting the church. That'll be you eh, like Hitchcock in his films.

And ... at the end of the film we see him putting his equipment away. Like a metaphor for the artist observing his contemporaries ! Then he wanders off towards the horizon and stumbles over a clump of grass (English humour? 🤭).
The pharmacist seemed to be surprised by the request. So she remained silent. I thought "oh no, maybe you need special authorisation", but she was just waiting to hear how many I wanted. I took several to please her. And I said "I'm not a serial killer, it's for my watercolours". There was a trainee/apprentice behind the counter who widened his eyes. He must have thought "watercolours are brutal". I was happy when I got out. 😂
