The original video had an irritating red flashing effect during certain parts due to a rendering error. I re-edited the video and reuploaded it to avoid that. Thank you for your patience. If you're having audio issues, I think it was just because you clicked on the video before it fully processed. Try refreshing the page and it should be fine. Also, I do not support harassing or transphobic comments towards Rebeccah. If I find any they will be nuked.
It really helps Mr.Enter's case when he goes into more detail and making it a separate video rather then sticking a short segment in a review video like StarGiantProductions did.
Funnily enough, the promotion for the bit on Enter was just a part of a promotion of a cartoon review. If one wanted to be serious about it they wouldn't make it a glorified footnote.
"It gets a bit boring seeing John's OC everywhere" - Rebecca Also Rebecca : splatters HER OC EVERYWHERE like it's a spray in a videogame! (Double standards always!)
Star Giant was indeed your worst editor. Every time I had a major issue with the editing, I would check the credits and it indeed was Star Giant. Because of this, I thought you only had one editor. As far as the self inserts go, I've seen a decent amount of editors do this that it's starting to become concerning. I think it's because people like Pewdiepie and Makiplier allow their editors to do it and watching those videos set a precedent, but Pewds and Mark seem to have a very trusting relationship with their editors and their editors seem to know their content well enough to make appropriate changes. To any people editing for someone else, it is not your show. Stop inserting personal messages and if you have an idea that goes off script, make sure you know your boss's content well enough that it represents their work. I'd even say get their approval the first few times you do it. It doesn't matter if an idea for a video is "good" if it's not the type of idea the channel as a whole can benefit from.
I thought she was the only editor too to the point where when she was fired my brain immediately went, "Huh? What's up? Who's this guy?" before letting out an internal cheer because I wouldn't have to hear her voice or see that Little Witch Academia OC anymore.
Another issue is that editors like star giant only see the inserts, they dont see the context. I don't know about pewdiepie, but markiplier actually interacts with his editor and trusts him enough to add to the jokes like in the 3 scary games series he's been doing.
Lixian is absolutely adorable, and he can get away with putting his avatar in the videos because Mark actually talks as though he's there. He started out as a Markiplier animator, even!
Also, Lixium (markiplier’s editor) is a father and a good editor. He actually knows what he’s doing and mark actually trusts him, as you awesomely pointed out. 😊
As someone who has asperger's, it is difficult to see when a conversation is long over (sometimes). But every time someone tells me that something I did or said was off topic or a dead topic, I get better at identifying it. Asperger's doesn't make it impossible to learn, it just means someone might need a bit of clarification, and will learn it over time. What StarGiant did was using a condition as an excuse. AKA not cool to do.
I've been on the spectrum since I was 14 and I couldn't of said this better myself. As u said aspergers dosent make it impossible to learn. It just takes us more time. More clarification. If we use this as an excuse, we will never learn anything, and it will hold us back more, because we're choosing to let it hold us back. John did the right thing.
@@ultrairrelevantnobody1862 yeah, usually when someone’s wronged him like RebelTaxi or Rebecca, he usually criticizes their flaws without attacking them without reason or ignoring his own flaws. Mr Enter makes mistakes, but the fact that he knows to admit that makes him an admirable person. Hope he keeps doing what he’s doing!
I'll restate my comment from the original: I was wondering why her oc popped up so much considering a cameo from *anyone* in your videos is really rare. Now I know.
Oh my God, me too. As I stated before, I originally thought it was just a quirk ala what NitroRad did with his artist during a fake rivalry with Antdude - but then I realized she kept doing it like a vanity card or something.
I edit for someone else too and I add my own little flair to his videos, but I tend to do these just add little jokes to the video or to help emphasize a point. And he's told me he likes my little add-ins too.
I don't know any of Enter's reviewers except for Rebecca, and that's because she literally forced herself front-and-center in like 5 different videos. Originally I thought it was because she was Enter's main reviewer / close friend; turns out it was the literal exact opposite.
@@colinmiller8824 You have no idea how selfish and cruel people can be. Most people are like more benign versions of Star at the best of times. her behavior is honestly really common, and it's likely to get even more common in the future.
Hi. I'm Koen, from PhoenixStarYT. I used to be one of Star Giant's editors, and I wanted to share my own personal experiences with them. Spoiler alert: they weren't very good. As stated in the video, her team got severely underpaid, considering the amount of work that we had to do for her. I was most definitely no exception to that. I edited a couple of videos for her Cartoon Network 64 series. It took me about one month and a half to quit that job, and move on to becoming an editor for PhantomStrider. Why is that? Well, to start with, I was paid 10$ for one entire video. The CN 64 Episodes were generally 5 to 25 minutes long, and she required me to finish them in about 4 days. She asks of this, while she didn't provide me any footage, avatars, background music, bumpers, or anything else that is required to make one of these videos possible. I had to source everything myself, and that would often take many hours in one day due to my internet speed being anything but fast. So I already would have lost one day of editing time. And these videos tended to be pretty long too, so I would spend entire days and a half to finish one. AND I was also attending an internship at the time, alongside my editing work for Rebeccah. Needless to say, it was burning me out, and I had to change something about that. I asked her for a better payment, but nothing really came of it. Eventually, I decided to go ahead and messaged PhantomStrider, who then hired me as his editor. And Strider has been a delightful boss, and a very good friend of mine since then. It's been over a year since I started editing for him, and I couldn't be happier having this job. The job is a lot of fun, and I'm glad I got to work with someone who actually cares about the well being of his editors. A trait that Rebeccah seems to lack
I knew I recognized that avie from somewhere (I'm subscribed to PhantomStrider). Your editing work is pretty good there! As a fellow Dutchie, I'll say I'm glad to hear you're doing much better with Strider from down under, and I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with Rebeccah.
@@ArendAlphaEagle Thank you, I really appreciate that compliment. And what happened with Rebeccah is in the past. Now I'm just enjoying the job I love, doing the very thing that I'm passionate about. And that's to edit video on PhantomStrider
I'll speak only of spite involving Phantom Strider for a long time, but I won't deny that Strider always followed through on payment and actually does care about the people on his crew.
@@EggFighterXB- Well, PhantomStrider is a Top 10 channel, that if you ask me is being done injustice by being compared to WatchMojo, as Strider actually makes content that is well thought out, with a lot of research behind, and some genuine entertainment on top of it. Both of which are qualities that WatchMojo lacks. Would it be nice if Strider would do more solo reviews, instead of doing nothing but Top 10s? Yes. But I honestly don't mind all the Top 10s that he makes myself, because the content itself is at the very least good, and the person who made it is even better. I really like what he puts together, and I love working for him
Interesting. I didn't even realize their editing nor their attitude had gotten worse until the Fairly Oddparents videos and then memory backtracking to "oh, so that's why I kept seeing cutaway gags to her avatar and hearing her voice interrupting the reviews." Hell, I even followed her on Deviantart thinking it was cool to follow one of your editors and peruse through their art. Good for firing them, though - this shines a huge light on everything.
Is it bad she was my favorite until I heard all this? The small errors I always forgave because editing mistakes were always a thing and the big stuff made it seem like two friends messing around. It might be because the Nostalgic Critic was shoehorning Malcolm and Tamera hard at around this point, so I gave it a pass for not being as egregious.
@@Delightfully_Bitchy Nope. Hell, I thought the giant text and the editing mistakes were intentionally there because he was depressed, burnt out and kept chugging on his videos - like a visual representation of the Energizer Bunny and Star had just let them slide because friends do goofy shit. Eventually around the fifth vanity plate style card/interruption I realized, "Wait a minute, this isn't your conscience manifesting as a magical girl, is it?" It's like that twist in Madoka when you find out Kyubey isn't just there to be cute and sell merch like Pikachu - the adorable, poorly inserted witch that continually showed up in Enter's videos did all this and did *that without permission.*
Y'know, good on you for actually bothering to fix the rendering issues, that alone instantly puts you above Star when it comes to the editing department 🤣
@@thebotbuilder I only saw a little of her first video on Lily Orchard, then zoned out during his listicle on the worst Fairly Odd Parents episodes. You're not missing anything.
@@cyberdance4578Or if she put the meme before the warning. Would've fit in the video better. That was a serious warning, though, and she shouldn't have interrupted that. Another notable example was in Mr. Enter's Christmas Guy review where she interrupted Mr. Enter to show her that "telegram" that Brian Griffin was back. Here's how she should've done it if she wanted to make the mail delivery joke: Mr. Enter does his full explanation of respecting Family Guy because of Life of Brian, then after he's done, she "delivers" the "letter." Rebecca: Delivery! Mr. Enter: W-wait a minute... Brian: Hi, guys! Yes, I am THAT Brian Griffin! Mr. Enter: Umm... Okay? I just have been informed that they brought Brian Griffin back to life at some point. So umm... When exactly did this happen?
I don't care that she identifies as a woman, that's nothing. The real sign of trouble should have been that she was identifying herself as a Giant Star, while clearly being a small satellite...
The parallels to the Joshscorcher/Lily Orchard drama are really showing up. Star Giant has become what she despises and it’s both sad and funny at the same time
@@lmrpirate5273 Yeah, I enjoyed listening to her Lily rants. But then afterwards it seemed a bit too obsessive since she makes her the target of abuse in her thumbnails and calls her "Cunty Orchard" instead of just "Lily". Now looking back on the rants, it feels like she was projecting A LOT especially when she said that Lily hated Starlight Glimmer because she's her. I feel like Rebecca hates Lily because SHE'S HER!
Okay, after fully reading this comment I now know plenty of people already brought this up, because I made a comment similar to this main one and only 30 people liked it, so I just assumed no one honestly thought the same?
16:10 As someone who has Asperger’s syndrome, I hate when people use it as an excuse for stuff like that. It does impact out ability to understand social situations. But, not our ability to learn and understand when we fuck up. And if we fuck up in social situations, we can learn and grow from it. I used to be horrible with interacting with others, and now I work a friggin retail job where I happily talk to people all day long. It’s never an excuse.
I did that in Middle school to get my parents off my back about social situations, homework and my general well-being. It didn't work. My parents, especially my Mom, would catch on and be like "Nice try.". Mom was scary good at that because she knew me so well because we are so close.
Unfortunately everyone is different… I’m autistic and absolutely have difficulty understanding things. To the point of people assuming I am being problematic on purpose. I’m not trying to argue, just saying it’s a bit unfair to almost speak for everyone in our shoes
Same here. It really gets on my nerves personally because it feels like you’re using it as an excuse to be a bad person instead of improving. I never even bring it up to people that I have it unless it’s relevant to the conversation. It’s just not worth bringing up.
I remember the channel JustStop reviewing this channel's content, while also giving advice, and praising the writing and especially the editing of the most recent review at the time (The Lion King 2019). He also criticized how StarGiant's editing wasn't up to par. I'm sorry to hear things weren't good behind the scenes also.
duuude i was thinking about juststop's vid where he pointed out her editing specifically the whole like, first part before things got more serious than how shit her work was.
Saw one of Rebecca’s most recent reviews, her DC Superhero Girls review, which is where she explains her experiences with being Enter’s editor. The less said about her calling the girls “jerks” just because they didn’t want to put up with Harley Quinn’s childish antics, the better. Oh, and she takes every joke and over-exaggeration seriously.
She seems more like Old Mr. Enter than Current Mr. Enter does. Not only did she steal other people’s videos when editing for Enter, now she’s stealing his old persona for her reviews.
I have Asperger's, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Social Anxiety, and Depression. What StarGiant was doing was just plain ego and narcissism. People with autism have difficulty picking up social cues, but that doesnt mean they cant learn to pick up those cues, hell, i used to a complete wreck when talking to people, but today i manage to convince one our suppliers to give us a discount for one of our shipments. Autism is not this nebulous barrier between autistic people and others, its a small ditch that needs to be crossed to properly converse.
Even when you're at the stage where you have a long way to go (I still have so much trouble holding eye contact for longer than half a second) it's just poor character to not take responsibility.
Yeah. My friends have been helping me understand social cues, to the point that now, at the age of 20, I can understand when it's the right time to say something, or when it's best to just wait. I still have moments of saying thinys randomly, when it doesn't make sense, but it's not as often now. Especially at work.
@@Terratetradon yeah you don't collect them you born with them, but even people like me and them(we're both autistic) don't "collect" our disabilities if only you mean that(if not then I'm sorry for taking a 2 month comment a bit too seriously)

She had her chances and blew them and decided to burn bridges while she was at it. You were incredibly patient with her. If it were up to me she would have been fired right off the bat. You made the right decision, Mr. Enter.
First up, I, personally, feel like I need to apologize to Mr. Enter. When I first saw the video thumbnail, I thought to myself, "Come on, you're better than this." Upon watching it...yeah, no, what he said was totally justified. Also, not many drama videos I've seen actually have evidence that completely thrashes the other side, and even fewer contain actual testimonies. Bravo, Mr. Enter & Co. I've been watching you guys since before your channel was "terminated," that's how long a fan I've been. I'll still watch your stuff because you have interesting things to say. Saying that, I did notice the "pixellated" issue you mentioned, and even I felt like that was out of place. What I didn't think was out of place was the "whipcrack" joke made in the Cans Without Labels review. I honestly thought that was planned out and that it fit fairly well. As far as my compliments for Rebecca's work goes, that's where it begins and ends - it was a well-placed joke, but if it wasn't approved, then yeah, that's a big issue.
The ironic thing is that based on her actions she's become more Lily Orchard than Lily herself. I mean don't get me wrong between the two i still think Lily is worse given her history with Joshscorcher and the incident involving one of Josh's close friends, but Rebecca is slowly becoming what she hates the most. The thing while Lily is a bad person, she hasn't exactly done anything to gain attention while Rebecca on the other hand is still vocal about drama. She obviously hasn't let go of the fact that she was fired and she's trying to copy everything Enter does to try and be as popular as him.
Other viewers: yeah, I noticed the editing diferences! Me who always listen to just the audio from the video while doing tasks: *surpised pikachu face*
Reposting my original comment, I used to edit for Rebeccah for a few months last year. One notable thing is that I worked entirely on her 3rd Lily Orchard video (the entire thing was around 2 hours long) in 15 days, despite the fact that I had a life outside of editing. After all was finished, I was offered $50, didn't even receive the $50 because I was under 18 and couldn't set up a paypal, and also was not properly credited (I'm credited as Bananerz, not BananaShoez). Rebeccah doesn't treat the people she hires and I'm very thankful you are highlighting her faults.
I've got a similar story to share. Back around the end of 2019 when she did her second Lily Orchard video, she was looking to hire an artist to create a short segment for the video. I took on the task with the agreement being that she would pay me for my hard work afterwards. The time crunch was a bit overbearing as I only had a couple of days to turn everything in, but I finished it all on time exactly as she wanted it. I expected her to get back to me about payment methods shortly after the video went live, but she never brought it back up. Oh sure, she credited me at the end of the video, but here we are nearly two years later and no payment in sight. I'm really sorry to hear you were never paid by her either.
For anyone asking John to make another response to Star, he already did; this is it. He's not going to respond to them again after this and honestly nor should he have to. He's already said everything about them at this point. Star is just screaming into the void at this point and expecting a response. Let them scream until they're blue in the face. They're just wasting their own time by doing it.
I remember when she was a target in the Slideshow Commentary Community (a community that used to be home to people like Ponder Sprocket and MangaKamen) and I saw one of her commentaries…I clocked out at the beginning cause the editing was HORRIBLE. I’m glad you’re addressing this, it gives us all a good idea what NOT to do as an collaborative editor.
Grace's testimony probably hit me the hardest out of this whole video. I knew Grace, although not personally but I recognized her from the server. While we didn't talk to each other personally she was still someone I can trust to not be a dick, and seeing Star treat her like that kinda hurt.
I thought this might be related to something Just Stop mentioned with them being 'not a good editor' - turns out it was a whole lot worse than that. Good on you for handling this well.
After seeing a close sibling be falsely accused of "abuse," (with the accuser even joining groups for victims of abuse) I am horribly disgusted with anyone so cheaply throwing around the accusation. These types of people are extremely manipulative. They'll always claim to be the victims to avoid any form of self reflection. Narcissism is their religion.
Hmmm... - blames others for failure of self. - uses labels on others to deter blame and put themselves in the right. - tremendous ego. - seemingly becomes harder to deal with over time. - is horrible at their job and is hired mainly for one singular quality. My favorite StarGiant moment was during the Cans without Labels review where when you were talking about Cuphead and she decided to use footage from a cuphead/fnaf/hello neighbor crossover fan animation, completely uncredited, entirely unrelated, and very jarring considering she could’ve just used footage from... ya know... Cuphead
I thought the self insert skit between you and star in Itchy and scratchy was purposeful as the dialogue seemed to flow pretty well. Now I'm curious as to what the OG script was as I'm thinking Star changed (or I should say rearranged) said script just to make their self insert interaction work.
Her self insert showing up randomly out of nowhere - at first I thought Mr. Enter and Rebecca did that as a running gag, something adorable between them. Now I realize that it was without his permission, and that she forced herself into title cards and gags and interactions like shipping forced itself into Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

I personally never really noticed the editing mistakes because I thought that was how it was supposed to be. Not in a "stylist suck" sort of way either. Knowing that a lot of the edits she did were without your consent is really crappy even if her personality wasn't either outright narcissistic or just barely towing the line. Bad editing and putting in certain edits without permission is one thing, but to act so toxic with the people she works with and acts like "I did nothing wrong" and uses her mental issues to excuse her behavior (I've actually tried that with my folks when I was younger, didn't work) is another.

Its really mess up The way StarGiant acted during time as Mr.Enter Editor is really toxic and unprofessional She can't just insert herself without Enters approval. Lily Orchard makes alot mistakes but at least she and Mikaila do most work on their videos Very informative video Enter, MintKitten, and Grace
The sad part is I met people like her, some that claim to be friends but in reality either used me because I was a sucker as a kid or just felt sorry for me which I did not like at all. Though, with that said, it taught me who my real friends were and who was just out to use me or want to give me their pity because they didn't want to be seen as the jackass that they were (Which didn't work because they were considered the biggest jackasses in school while I mostly got left alone to be in my small bubble of friends and that would be the end of the story).
Repeat from last time, but with flavor. Glad you took time to clarify why you fired them and what happened. Honestly, if I got fired from that job, I would see what was wrong and fix it. But then we have people like these who need to have a wake up call. Reminds me of a few months ago when I needed a wake up call. I was being lazy and an jerk, but Mom woke me up and actually made me realize that laziness is the worse thing you can do. Sad they haven't realized that by now, and abuse people for a short shot at fame.
It’s the fact that Rebecca’s shoddy editing was pointed out by a critique of Mr. Enter’s video about a year ago, and now we are here with her firing because of both her editing and her douchebag attitude gives me a nice chuckle
Ironically she complains about Lily Orchard all the time, even though they both seem to have similar problems, including calling anyone they don't like "abusers" and both having a large amount of Narcissism. I don't like either of them, but I do find this kind of ironic
Except Lily doesn't do that and never has. Let's go down a list of who she has called that... her irl abusive ex, groomers that got caught by the law, the people who made excuses for them, abusive parents, the people that organized an online hate campaign against KP, and other fun little side characters. Certainly not people she has personal spats with on YT ala Star, since... she doesn't make videos about those people at all and doesn't acknowledge their existence. She used to, though... about bronies who bullied people and/or justified bullying, but hey. And even then, she generally didn't call them anything other than increasingly colorful versions of "dumb". By all means, dislike her. She's not for everyone. But lies are lies, and there are enough of them going around about her. There's a reason it's so very common for people to actually watch her and be like, "wait... you're NOT a screeching harpy trying to ruin fun?"
I thought the reason why Rebecca appeared so much in your videos was because you two were friends... To think she did all that without your permission is pretty unsettling.
For the seizure scenes in Electric Soldier Porygon, tune the brightness down and add a greyscale filter to censor the seizure-inducing scenes that are not tied to the work being reviewed.
In the words of the ice Ninja: Such wasted potential. I wanted her to get better, but my patience was wearing thinner and thinner. And now, hearing about her treatment of others on your team and artists, it's disgusting.
While I don’t think you’re a perfect person, you still have a good heart, and it might have actually improved. You’ve hired better editors, admitted your faults about Nick-O-Rama season 2, and conjured up pretty good evidence that Rebecca was worse than just being a bad editor. I really do hope that Star Giant improves on her work after she got fired, and apologises for what she did, otherwise, it’s all the way down from here. Good to see you changing stuff up for the better, John!
My problem with Rebecca is also her content. I've watched a lot of her videos and reviews on certain movies and episodes she likes but other people hate. My problem is it's other people can't hate something that she likes. Like for her Wreck-It Ralph review. I watched her review the second Wreck-It Ralph movie Ralph breaks the internet and she basically was saying people are toxic and just haters. She makes that really clear when she adds a random guy in her video. Basically she has this guy complaining about this movie basically using him as an example pointing out that people all they do is complain about films and episode that she likes and basically trashing others because they can't have their own opinion. That goes for her Review on the Star Wars sequel movies as well. I don't mind her having her own opinion that's fine. But she is basically saying that people are just haters because they don't like something that she likes.
Ugh, the Ralph Breaks the Internet review was utterly painful. It was basically a thinly-veiled ‘fuck you’ to anyone that had issues with the movie by having them be represented by an obnoxious strawman for the entire runtime.
The behavior you have described is the "strawman fallacy", setting up a caricature of those you disagree with and arguing against that instead of what they have actually said.
@@kittymcgeeky8853 oh, so she made fun of people who thought the movie was a giant advertisement that was essentially disney's take on the emoji movie but used characters people actually liked? (aka me)
@@hexnight Basically any criticism you can think of, Star would try to debunk. Even the claim that the original Wreck-It Ralph had plotholes as proof that the original isn't perfect and neither is the sequel but you can still like them regardless. This message COULD'VE worked as no movie has to be 100% perfect in order to be enjoyable, but there's only so much tolerance a person can have for writing issues and some are not nearly as noticeable as others. I watched Ralph Breaks the Internet in theaters and my opinion on it got worse over time because I kept thinking about how its characters were portrayed and how they basically spat in the face of the film's original rules. I could rewatch the first movie and still feel very immersed in it because it understood what it wanted to be while being very fun.
Funny, I was actually thinking that too. It's almost the exact same situation too, with the reviewers in question both being former brony reviewers, and both editors being mtf trans individuals who seem too wrapped up in themselves to recognize their toxic behavior and call their former employers abusers. It's kind of ironic in a way too, with how Rebecca apparently doesn't like Lily Peet, even though their behavior and situations have a lot in common. At least, from what I remember from Josh's video a while back. I'll admit, there may be stuff I'm missing here, because I'm fairly ignorant of their sides, and what they're doing now, but frankly, I don't care, since I'm not one for drama, and I only watched this video because I wanted to know what happened with Mr. Enter and his infamously worst editor. So feel free to correct me if I got something wrong.
@@leirawhitehart1236 It's honestly sad in a sense. As a trans woman myself, I look at these two very toxic individuals in the UA-cam community and feel like we're being given a bad name by these two. I wouldn't blame someone who sees a trans editor on UA-cam and think they'll be just as bad as Lily or Rebecca... Granted, that person should really judge people individually and not by the demographic they share with someone but that doesn't stop someone from thinking trans women are toxic because of these two people.
I’ve worked on an entire animation before. It was a five minute short made for college. I worked with an entire class of 20 or so people… ignoring the few times we had to tweak it for the network we had to give to, it took damn near the whole semester. Making a 1 minute animatic from the year before also took the whole semester as it was my mid-term and final. Asking a single person to make a 22 minute animatic in such a short time-frame is completely asinine

Uh, hi, part-time editor, student, and musician here with an iota of a comment. I should also state for the record that I am not the Casey that is mentioned at 29:24. I'm in Star's server. I've been in there for a while now, occasionally offering up services with script-editing, only to be disregarded for not being a part of her team. I was willing to provide a second opinion on one segment of her "Best Animations of 2020" when she mentioned Amphibia (reading her initial script, it felt like she never researched the episode or understood why it was nominated for (and eventually won) an Annie Award). Bear in mind that I'm NOT a full-time editor, nor do I want that as my profession. (Not a plug, but my best vid has 100K views and that's it). I actually think I still have Rebeccah's "Pointless Drama" script in my Drive somewhere that I'd rewritten. (I'm in the server right now and it is an echo chamber of "Enter Bad, Rebeccah good") If it's any consolation towards you, Mr. Enter, you're Joshscorcher and she's Lily Orchard... but I don't think she has the ability to see that parallel. Edit: Amphibia didn't win an Emmy, but it was nominated. The episode Star picked won an Annie Award, however, which I think is more prominent.
For the record, here was the competition for the Annie Award: TOH "Young Blood Old Souls" Hilda "The Deerfox" BNA "Runaway Raccoon" Craig of the Creek Looney Toons Cartoons For the Emmy, it went up against Hilda: Season 2 (Winner) Craig of the Creek Kipo Wizards: Tales of Arcadia

I had actually been wondering about this for quite some time. It's weird because...I was watching you back in 2018 around the time that you Hired Rebecca, and she seemed really excited about working for you when she posted it on DeviantArt; so needless to say I was happy for the both of you - that she was getting the opportunity for her dream job and that you were successful enough to have an editing staff. I noticed that she would occasionally insert herself into your videos and thumbnails, and I assumed it was done with your blessing. I thought that this had cemented her as not just a member of your team but a potential character to add to your show. After a while, when all that stopped, I was still curious as to what was going on. I started noticing when your videos started ending with a new credit for a new editor with a new avatar. And I legitimately wondered what happened to Rebecca. Then when you mentioned in your Nick-O-Rama Part 2 review that the person editing those videos is no longer on your team, I did some investigations. While I was hoping otherwise, I did notice a correlation that Nick-O-Rama was during Rebecca's tenure... Then when I watched some of her reviews, I began to notice that there could at the very least be some _passive aggressive_ comments towards you, at least regarding "Growing Around," and it made me think that something had definitely happened. (I don't follow Twitter and Rebecca abandoned her DA account - the last words on the account saying she was still a part of your team at the time.) So I guess what I'm saying is, I'm surprised that all my general curiosity on this topic suddenly led to this reveal. I felt like I was tip-toeing around volcano that had the potential to burst...And well...here's the eruption. Sorry to hear that it didn't work out between you two.
Having thought about it; I think I have remembered why I enjoyed the news that Becca was working with Enter. I believe that back in 2018 was around the time the LillyOrchard controversy was happening - and considering the stuff Lilly said about JoshScorcher, I was glad there were people calling her out and taking her down a peg. Becca was one of them. So I guess I must've found it serendipitous that no sooner that I found Becca's videos bashing Lilly Orchard, that I learn she was now working for Mr. Enter. So needless to say, I did feel glad about that... The irony being is that now Becca has sort of become the one thing she's hated most for the past few years and what got her channel so much attention. That is Harvey Dent levels of irony right there
It's not that they became another Lily Orchard, they were like that from the beginning. Star just wanted just wanted to attack someone who was similar to them in order to create the false image that they were better. In reality, they're both the same person in everything except having two individual bodies.
Glad you got rid of this toxic person. I'm extremely grateful when you put seizure warnings in as I'm epileptic. Hope things get better for you and the team
Ultimately, it's never a good idea to publicly goad your employer into explaining why you lost your job. It's better not having all your issues put out in full exposure for other future work opportunities to look up and find.
Funny how much she hates Orchard, because she's doing the exact same thing she did when she got fired from an editing job. She was let go after a disagreement, and then threw a UA-cam wide hissyfit like she's a bratty kid in the toy aisle who was denied an action figure
She said in her video on Enter that this was like the sequel to the Josh/Lily situation, but comparing herself to Josh and Enter to Lily. Before Enter posted this vid, I kind of agreed with that, but wasnt entirely sure as it didnt seem like a perfect "sequel." Josh made a response to Lily because she called him out publicly first with false allegations. If Star's comparison were accurate, Enter would've called out Star first, resulting in her making a response. But Enter didn't call out Star publicly first. Star called Enter out first. And Enter has now responded because of that. So yes, it is like the Josh/Lily situation, but not in the way Rebeccah claimed it did.
You are an honest man and tbh I do believe you. I myself tend to be sceptical of drama on social media bc there is tons of yelling and finger pointing, but you are honest. You bring up receipts for what you're talking about, you explain your own issues and call yourself out on your own mistakes. And also you don't really make videos like this one. And when someone who usually keeps quiet and doesn't create drama decides to respond to stuff it shows the credibility. As for your mental issues, I hope you're doing better now...I've been in bad place at the end of 2018 start of 2019 myself so I understand perfectly how it can mess up your life. And the last two years with pandemic haven't been kind on people who have depression or anxiety. Again, I hope you're feeling better.
Haven't watched Mr Enter for a LOOOOOONG time, and I honestly don't find him to be that great. But hearing about this sucks to listen to, and I can't believe an editor would be this trash towards the person they're working for. Though I may not watch you, you have my respect, Mr Enter.
"I was John's best editor" Bruh moment In all seriousness, this is just unprofessional for Rebecca. Like, 2018 is not the best year for Mr.Enter, i get that why, but jesus christ, she has gone too far. This gives me JoshScorcher "Response to Lily Peet" vibes. I don't say, "I was the best Lawler member of the Smash Bros. Lawl community!", and brush it off like that, i have suffered the consequences in the past, and still do to this day. If John could find another editor that speed up the process of his videos, this drama shouldn't happened. Anyway, i'm glad that he opened his eyes and rightfully fire her, hope this mistake will never repeat again. I'll end the comment with a message directly to Rebecca: "Lady, you just shit talking to your former co-workers with your unprofessionalism. Is very moronic to do and damaging to your reputation. There's the famous words "You either die as a hero or live long enough to become a villain", but you lived as a villain to John and the others and died as a villain. I hope you never lie and make delusional words again, or leave the internet for good. I'm just sayin'."
It's ironic you bring up Lily Peet since Rebecca made a video series on her. But yeah, in the back of my mind I knew Rebecca's take would've been better with a grain of salt.
@@collaterale1 Well to be fair, Lily's worse, but Rebecca hits some similar notes. It's ironic that Lily and Rebecca were editors who would go on to talk shit about their employers.

I never expected to see you on Enters Channel.

Lixian is absolutely adorable, and he can get away with putting his avatar in the videos because Mark actually talks as though he's there. He started out as a Markiplier animator, even!

To answer your question (albeit in an egregious and indirect manner), did the statement at 8:05 age poorly or what?
Me.
It also doesn't help because Enter himself has Asperger's.
@Sister Supersonic "admitted" that makes it sound like a character flaw.
@Sister Supersonic It's not trolling, it's basic understanding of English. "Admit" means "to confess to" or "own up to", "to accept guilt".

I didn't even realize their editing nor their attitude had gotten worse until the Fairly Oddparents videos and then memory backtracking to "oh, so that's why I kept seeing cutaway gags to her avatar and hearing her voice interrupting the reviews."
Hell, I even followed her on Deviantart thinking it was cool to follow one of your editors and peruse through their art.

Poor John AND Josh.
I wish I could give this comment more than 1 like.
Rebecca has become the very thing that she hates
It true
The ironic thing is that based on her actions she's become more Lily Orchard than Lily herself. I mean don't get me wrong between the two i still think Lily is worse given her history with Joshscorcher and the incident involving one of Josh's close friends, but Rebecca is slowly becoming what she hates the most. The thing while Lily is a bad person, she hasn't exactly done anything to gain attention while Rebecca on the other hand is still vocal about drama. She obviously hasn't let go of the fact that she was fired and she's trying to copy everything Enter does to try and be as popular as him.

I'm sorry to hear that
And I kinda liked her Lily rants. That was until I found out about this and finding out what was going on behind the scenes.
I'm very sorry to hear that.

Aw that sucks I'm so sorry

Her self insert showing up randomly out of nowhere - at first I thought Mr. Enter and Rebecca did that as a running gag, something adorable between them.

Rebecca is a groomer, a pedo defender, and backstabber too. But Enter doesn't know that
The sad part is I met people like her, some that claim to be friends but in reality either used me because I was a sucker as a kid or just felt sorry for me which I did not like at all.
Basically the pot calling the kettle black

"Just Stop" actually commented about Rebecca in his video about you.
Didn't know it would come back to haunt you.
That goes for her
Review on the Star Wars sequel movies as well. I don't mind her having her own opinion that's fine. But she is basically saying that people are just haters because they don't like something that she likes.
Hate to see her as a food critic. "Oh, you don't like your steak well done? You're just a hater! Not a fan of olives? You're toxic!"
(aka me)

Even the claim that the original Wreck-It Ralph had plotholes as proof that the original isn't perfect and neither is the sequel but you can still like them regardless. I watched Ralph Breaks the Internet in theaters and my opinion on it got worse over time because I kept thinking about how its characters were portrayed and how they basically spat in the face of the film's original rules. Going wrong is an understatement of the century given what has happened right now for Rebecca.
this video unironically makes me want to be on mr. enter's team
too bad my editing skills are only good enough to make me laugh at the "mythical center-align button" joke
oh well, maybe some day
You know, i WAS wondering why there was a random witch-girl in the thumbnails all of a sudden.
(I don't follow Twitter and Rebecca abandoned her DA account - the last words on the account saying she was still a part of your team at the time.)
So I guess what I'm saying is, I'm surprised that all my general curiosity on this topic suddenly led to this reveal.

Rebecca: I WAS JOHN'S BEST EDITOR!
John: Rebecca was my worst editor.
Talk about inflating ego.
It seemed like Rebecca wanted to be to you what Lexian is to Markiplier. An editor that is part of the show and is funny.
Yeah but she’s missing something
I refer to the last word in your comment
There’s not much more frustrating than someone who’s bad at their job, yet massively overestimates their skill in said job.
I always wondered who that 3rd person next to Timmy and Mary Sue was in that Super Sitter title card.
Ultimately, it's never a good idea to publicly goad your employer into explaining why you lost your job. It's better not having all your issues put out in full exposure for other future work opportunities to look up and find.
@Sister Supersonic You say that, but internet fandoms have historically been good at finding those who change personas.
I do believe this is the definition of " the anger of a patient man"
Funny how much she hates Orchard, because she's doing the exact same thing she did when she got fired from an editing job.
If only StarGiant had the same type of character development that Mr. Enter has had.
"I was John's best editor"
Bruh moment
In all seriousness, this is just unprofessional for Rebecca. I'll end the comment with a message directly to Rebecca:
"Lady, you just shit talking to your former co-workers with your unprofessionalism.
That was red flag #1 for me
@@Channeleven2345789 In other words, she became the thing that she hates.
@@collaterale1 Well to be fair, Lily's worse, but Rebecca hits some similar notes. It's ironic that Lily and Rebecca were editors who would go on to talk shit about their employers.
@@collaterale1 how does that even happen. How does someone who despises a certain type of person, end up becomeing that kind of person?
You know it’s serious when enter is showing his face on camera.
Imagine trying to pick a lock with a can opener

It had to be painful to see one of your editors turn out the way she did. Consider my reaction to all this crushed. Amidst all this, I wish you the best in the foreseeable future.
