Amongst the most less talked SF units in the world the IDF SF units very few knew that till 1972 Sayeret Matkal and the SAS were the only counter terror units in the world.

I don't know If you guys have heard about mumbai police's DETECTION UNIT and maharashtra police's ATS(anti-terrorism squad) these guys take out dangerous criminals armed only with S&W pro series (today) and old.38's and NO bulletproof vests ....how ? the key to success was great information networks and crazy surprise attacks...they did lost a considerable amount of good guys on the field but truly are the badass cops!

@@jnoub2947 No, they did not. Sure, some of Israel's objectives in the second Lebanese war were failed, but Hezbollah has been quiet for 16 years and Nasrallah even said he regretted the kidnapping of the three Israeli soldiers which led to the war.

Hezbollah has been the complete opposite than silent, they’re much more powerful now due to your failed intelligence, and fly drones undetected into Israel whenever they please. Nasrallah only said that because the point wasn’t to start war. Him saying that doesn’t change the outcome of the war

A quesiton..Border police are they police or Military police....because I guess border police are not very active in Tel Aviv for example...the police in Tel Aviv are blue uniform...and haev normal police cars
This is where it gets confusing. You will find military border police inside most major cities in Israel (especially in Jerusalem). Technically they are still defending the "border" but from within. These guys are on active duty within the country. The other soldiers you would see roaming around are probably off duty.
And the guys in the video are under the military wing. For more domsestic operations and SWAT, look up the unit YAMAM. YAMAM also operates in the West Bank and carry out IDF operations, but they are more domestic. YAMAM are the guys you would count on if there was a terrorist attack or hostage situation within Israeli borders.
