Please redo the video as the sound does NOT work once everything was removed and the replacement of the glass was just about to be done. I found your video to be one of the best and easiest to understand instruction wise. Unfortunately, the sound was missing for the most crucial part. I hope that you will fix it! Thanks!
@ 3:31 your right thumb removed what looks like to be thermal paste. Or was that just glue? If it was thermal paste, do we need to replace with new thermal paste? @ 6:21 to 8:03 the audio is gone.
Nice video. Unfortunately sound cuts out just as you (I assume) talk about replacing the screen. At that point, I warmed up the cracked screen side for a bit and then pushed it away from the frame. The screen breaks a bit but who cares. I seated the new screen and reversed CellularProz previous steps. Added a massive case and its like new.
Thank you so much for this video! I just replaced my broken screen and this was so helpful! I bought just the front glass but you can't do it like that. I don't know why some vendors are selling just the glass. Won't work. The OLED is part of the glass. Just buy the whole screen.
so you don't need a new adhesive? you just reused what was already on? I ordered a new screen digitizer frame assembly for mine and will have to replace it this week
Yeah, the audio cut out at the worst time, there are five other videos covering general disassembly but this is the only display replacement one. And there's a cut screen after removing the battery (and the audio), during which all the small parts appear on the bench. Ouch.
Remember to buy adhesive sticker tape for the new screen. I had to postpone my screen replacement since I didn't have any on hand. The charging port needs to be removed as well in order to take out the screen cable. Other than those two issues, thanks for posting this video!
B-7000 glue - waterproof glue around the things that are exposed to air/outside of case found the instructions at www.witrigs.com/blog/how-to-repair-broken-lg-v30-screen/
Is there a way just to replace the front glass? I dont need to replace the digitizer

would the phone still be waterproof after the replacement?
It would still be, how can I say, more waterproof than non-waterproof phones, but not exactly as good as it used to be from the first place.
sir i am not able to touch it can you give it somewhere please reply me sir
Esto sólo fue montaje y desmontaje del equipo yo quiero saber si se puede cambiar sólo el lcd
