So my question is . Since you went through the trouble of knocking out the old weight parts out do you install the T part to all 4 of them and new ones in? Then checking the test with those threaded weights that you took out after and said it did better on low end. Could you have just removed the old threaded weights and checked it before spending the $400 ? I don't know, bro. I'm just asking because I'm not familiar with cf clutches is why I'm asking
The stock weights on the KRX don’t have adjustable screws. That why I needed to install the new custom weights that do. You can add weights to all four or just two depending on what you want. The weight itself might be good enough as well because it has a different profile and weight to it. -Garrett

Nice job and posting data you collected. Buy any chance since the "No added grams to the weights gave the best time, did you weigh the stock weight of one versus one of the new weights? curious if that also plays into the improvement.
You had a quick mention in the vid about your throttle cable needing adjusting. When you did that it got your top speed back up then? Mine new did 68, and now with 600 miles, it does 65mph. Just wanted to say thanks to you guys, i was on the fence of getting a maverick sport xc x until i was watching the KRX videos. I'm loving my 21 KRX Trail edition. So much better of a machine in almost every way over my 18 polaris rzr rock and trails. You guys think there would be much to be gained in doing this kit? What exactly does changing the weights do?
Mainly helps with the low end of the machine. You can tune it according to your elevation as well. If you want more snappy response on the low end this kit will help. 👍
The kit I got did not come with 1 gram weights. It came with eight 2 gram weights and four 6 gram weights. I don’t see how taking out two 1 gram weights can make a noticeable difference. Now taking out 4 grams total , there Maybe a slight difference in Rpms
Not sure about weights for sxs but the bushings in the weights are always wearing out on sleds. I would think a pressed bearing would last much longer, but no one does it.
When you changed your weights did it lower your RPMs and made it little faster....the big thing did it lower the heat in the cabe.....but this krx 100 2021 is so dang high RPMs be nice to lower your rpms ....
It can lower your rpms with the weight adjustment. You’ll lose a little power in that area but it would make for a lower rpm cruising speed. It’s really about what you want out of the kit. Not sure about the heat side of things haven’t hit the summer months here yet.

Guess it's time for you to step up a size or two Garrett... :) C'mon man Also curious if running with just two of the four weights could have any negative affect over time?
