DRZ400sm gang here. It is a tank but that bike is the most reliable supermoto today.
Yes it is and has a cult following. Actually, the DRZ400sm was going to be my first motorcycle but the deal didn't work out and I ended up getting a cbr250r. I'm anxious to see if Suzuki is coming out with an all new 2025 DRZ400sm.
The jury is not out yet. I am waiting for you to test ride the Ducati 698 hypermotard mono, back to back with this KTM.

Drz400 is overpriced fir a 5 speed carbuerated bike.
DRZ400SM, a reliable Japanese Supermoto that desperately needs to be a 600cc, 6 speed, fuel injected bike, with quick shifter, and some essential electronics.
I would buy it immediately if they had that!
Still rockin the mt03. Yamaha made in Indonesia!
They make my favorite guitar, the ibanez. So you got that. Good people making the best bikes! Mt07 is next!
The MT-03 is nice! All the of the MT series of bikes are awesome. I might get a MT-10 to share.
I love my Ibanez too! Best guitar you can get under $200. I’ve had mine for ten years.
I've been looking at the KLX300SM for a while now, and I'm glad it got the cyclecruza seal of approval!
There's no question a Super Moto is the best around town bike to ride. Also, a second bike to switch between my big V-Twin and a light weight, throw around Scoot. Add a Touring Bike and the Mancave is complete!
What happen to the KTM 390. It has a 5 inch TFT with rider Aids. Quick shifter. That bike has a lot of up to date whistles and bells.
2017 drz400sm, just hit 20,000 miles. Runs flawlessly and zero valve checks. Oil change every 12-15 hundred miles. Nothing fancy , but gets the job done. Bullet proof.
Just picked up a GasGas SM 700 to join my WR250R supermoto. Great pair.

If you really are getting a Harley get the vrod because you’ve actually wanted one then later on get different Harley’s but get the one you have wanted they got that low end torque
I’m glad the Kawasakis were on the list. I’ve got my eye on the KLX300SM. With the Shinko tires I think it would be even better.

You should get one and join the Supermoto world. You'll have more than than on your 600. I want to collect Supermotos.

how about that “stale loaf of bread” seat though? How long can you stay planted on it before your but turns numb?
I did order a KTM comfort seat but the stock seat doesn't bother me at all. The only reason I'm getting the comfort seat is because it is black and will match the new plastics and custom graphics better.
Everybody raving bout the 690. Yet I think the new Hypermotard Mono has it beat until KTM updates the 690. I'm gonna buy a supermoto Friday and got several test rides setup then. Right now the Mono is #1 on my list but I'll give the 690 a chance, but I hate that halogen light. Shouldn't have a halogen headlamp in 2024. Come on KTM, they definitely did that just to squeeze more money outta you for the better headlamp.
Ive ridden the Mono and it is so much fun. I'd love to ride a 690 to compare but I'd be happy with either or

From the review videos I've seen about the new 698 is the bottom end is not as strong as the KTM but has stronger top end end power, the Ducati likes to revved more. I prefer bottom end grunt myself. Some the of the reviewers said it seems more like a street bike than a supermoto. I don't know, I'll try to get a test ride on one and compare the two. Like I said in the video, it could be great but I don;t trust a first gen Ducati because it will have problems. I'm curious to see how the new 2025 KTM 690 SMC R is going to be, I have feeling it si going to be even more sick. I seriously love this bike
@Frank_Torre I'm in love with it too, I've seen both the base and RVE and I'm contemplating getting rid of my Aprilia for one. Only thing throwing me off is its a first year and there are already issues

I want an mt07 but I don’t wanna spend a ton on one. I’ve been looking for some time.
Ok new guy question. I had a klr 650 taken it on some long trips. I sold it only because my buddy and I said that the new ktm 690 couldn't make the long haul to Alaska. We said hold our beer, WE now have the 2024 ktm 690's. We are now trying to find larger fuel tanks to use on the trip. Other mods will come later we will be taking this trip next year. A lot of logical planning is going into this. We are taking on this adventure with our other adventure bike friends. Any suggestions?

Been looking for a supermoto. Brand new payments on a DRZ are 20-30 a month more then the KLX. Being a completely new rider which would you say is the better choice?

I owned a 23 KTM 690 smcr I didn't like it One of the noisiest motors i've ever heard seat suc-ked no low end power and leaked oil . Looked good but is junk had it just over a yr and sat I've owned many bike and riden many as I'm a certified motorcycle mechanic since 1980

I talked about the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono in the video, it is too new to consider it right now because it is guaranteed to have problems as a first gen Ducati. As far as the other Ducati Hypermotard 950, I don't really consider that a supermoto because it is so heavy at 436 lbs, it is really just a street bike that looks like a supermoto. Cool bike tho.

Sometimes I swear double c, your a grifter on her rag back and forth on which motorcycle is better. Then changing your mind, I'm just glad you make good content on riding in general I'm just going to stick to using dual sports and not converting dirt bikes.

Ah man the WR250R is what started it all for me in the dual sport/ supermoto world. A truly bulletproof awesome dual sport. I put so much money into that bike, more than I paid for it!

Cool bike but at 436 lbs, it is a beast in weight and wayyyyy too much power for a supermoto. It is really a street bike that looks like a supermoto, so i never really considered it a proper supermoto.

KLX is low quality bike. I'll take an used WR250X anyday. even over the a new KLX300SM or the CRF300SM

No! I don't like the style of your new bike or any of the supermoto, offroad dirt bikes. I stick to the streets. Meow it's a shame to me that you're getting rid of the mt07, but it would be nice if you donate it to the less fortunate that's trying to get someting bigger than what they got like me. Well, I know it won't happen, but it's just wishful thinking. Back to why I don't like your. 1 I just don't like the looks of it, and I don't go oof road. I don't have the strength to. I like street bikes especially the naked upright sport bikes like you mt07, and my Honda cb500f. I'm trying to get a mt09, mt10, or a cb1000r for my next bike. It would be a while like probably the next 5 years till that's possible. All I can do right meow just enjoy my cb500f on the road.
How can you not like the look of dirt bikes? You are the rare person I ever heard say they didn't like dirt bikes. You should never knock a bike you never rode before, I did the same thing early on, said supermotos were silly, then I rode on and fell in love, the most fun type of motorcycle. I may or may not get rid of my MT-07, if I do it will probably be to get a new street bike like a Harley os some new naked bike like e a Suzuki GSX-8S or some other new naked bike to share more new content with the channel. I love all the different bikes. The CB500f is a really nice bike. Enjoy! Wear all of the gear and stat safe!
