  • Welcome to another trip report!
This has to be one of the coolest videos I've ever made. First, we flew on the Portland Timbers Special Livery. Second, we flew to Nome, Alaska, a.k.a Western Alaska. The landing was very scenic, and I hope you enjoy the nice montage after the landing of the Nome area, shot mostly with my drone.
    Enjoy!
    Airline: Alaska Airlines
    Aircraft: Boeing 737-790 (N607AS)
    Seat: 3A (First Class)
    Flight Number: AS151

I love to fly. Been to Nome only once. Thanks for your video, it was a great preview. If I don't like the airline food, I blame the Captain. If the Captain is Picard or Kirk, I'd scream outloud, "You flight attendants let me off this plane NOW!!"😱🤯

today's Q re-view is sponsored by Coke with ice, and warm nuts. a well-done trip report worth watching, but stay tuned to the very end and watch the drone footage, it's really quite good. well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra, thanks for sharing!!

I remember flying Alaska a lot during that month. I can't believe how to this day I can immediately recognize what song was playing as you boarded because of that.

Not a surprise all they served was warm nuts and drinks on this over 1 hour flight, and I think the warm nuts thing you do from the South Park cartoon is pretty funny!

Excellent and nicely done video review. Seems like Alaska Air's service is great. The scenery is gorgeous. The sweet buzzsaw tune of the engines on takeoff like Timber Joey's chainsaw after each Timber's goal (I'm from Portland)! I also spotted a few DC-3's on taxi out!

I will be going on an Alaska trip next month. It will be PDX-SEA-FAI and FAI-ANC-PDX. The flight from PDX-SEA will be my first A320 and the flight from FAI-ANC will be a 737-700 and it could be the Timbers Jet. The other two flights will be 737-900s. It would be cool to fly the Timbers Jet.

Nome is truly the Frozen North! What was the temp on arrival? What is there to do in beautiful downtown Nome? Am surprised that a drone can be packed away in standard luggage, though probably not carry-on. Nome is a LONG way from Long Island, several time zones away!
