After editing this trip report, I realized that it’s 5 minutes longer than the duration I aim for. Please let me know if I should keep my videos quicker or stretch them out!
41k Feet cool! This morning I saw the honoring those who serve going from anchorage to one of the bigger islands off the coast. (Sorry I don’t know which one)
@@oneworldman0 I have yet to see that here at my home airport in Kansas City. I've seen it in SFO tho. Ive caught the honoring those who serve E-175 tho!
You have one of the best trip reports channels because you give details about your flight and the topography of our flight. Why I have watched many, more since quarantine. Ten or fifteen minutes jammed packed is great. Love your humor too. Thanks for your hard work. We all enjoy.
Great video! Loved the winter scenery, but glad I was not there!! As for length, I think that 15-20 minutes is a good time for a trip report. You gave us plane spotting, flight details , and info on the airline and the airports. Good job!!
Stationed in Kodiak for 2.5 yrs with USCG. Alaska flying and AK in general is the best life. It hurt to watch this and the Saab video, I miss AK so much.
In case you didn't know, there's a bar/heritage display/amphitheater area upstairs. It's near the Starbucks in the C concourse. Just take the elevator up one floor. They may have it blocked off though due to covid, but once things get going again, it's a great place to relax and plane watch.
As for the Livery of Alaskan Airlines I personally like the specialty ones. That is the ones of Disney, state insignia, and sport franchises. Alaska Airlines is one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing this video. Peace brother.
Don't let this video distract you from the fact that Alaska isn't even based out of Alaska... or let alone the fact that their biggest market is California... something here just doesn't add up.
Looks a bit cold out there mate. I understood Alaska Airlines are actually based in Seattle in Washington ?? Great views out the window Quintin...the BEST in flight entertainment !! Well done as always Q and keep posting what you can when you can and stay safe and well !!
That's so awesome. I live in Dutch Harbor, AK and have spent lots and lots of time in the Ted Stevens Anchorage Airport. If you go out to Dutch Harbor once Covid is over, please do a trip report. 1:55, that's what we had to take after the Pen Air Saab 2000s (owned by Ravn after 2018) stopped coming out here, and currently, since Ravn is bankrupt, the best option is taking the Alaska Airlines jet to Cold Bay, and then flying Grant Aviation to Dutch Harbor. Hopefully we can fly direct to Anchorage again soon. :)
I really appreciate your rating system and ticket price disclosure at the end of the video. You get a better feel for the overall airline/flight experience.
The old livery definitely gives northern chilly vibes but the newer one feels very modern West Coast. I'm very torn but feel more fondness for the newer one. Also much love to the former red/white look of their Airbus fleet :p
@QFS Aviation, once again you have made an excellent video on the wonderful winter setting of flying in Alaska. I live in Fairbanks and it’s about the same flight time as this flight you took to Bethel. It can be a hit or miss when it comes to snack service on the “Hour flight” service as weather and winds can affect if you get an early arrival or take up the whole block for the flight. Great job and if you’re ever in Fairbanks, let me know as I would like to meet you someday. Andrew from Fairbanks, Alaska 😇
Growing up for a few years in rural Alaska, I used to take this flight all the time on the 737-200 Combis that would fly throughout the state. I miss those old birds. I don’t miss Bethel, though. 😂
Love your content. I believe what you've been doing inspires young generation to do something useful for others. I look forward to watching your report trip with asian airlines. Keep a low profile 👍🏻
The video duration is OK. Nice footage to enjoy Alaskan sky space and airport. It's better to take next Alaska journey in summer for better view of landscape. Overall good attempt and uploading.💂
This Q re-view is powered by coffee and snacks. another really good report with awesome photography, editing, and montages. I highly recommend this video and after watching it you should hit the like and sub buttons. Well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra and thanks for sharing!!!
My favorite Alaska Airlines livery is between, “Most-West-Coast”, San Francisco Giants Livery, Portland Timbers Livery, or their old Eskimo one that you flew on in this video!
Loved the plane-spotting montage at ANC. I vote for AS's new livery, hands down. It's clean and sleek compared to the old livery with the busy double cheat-lines. I like the updated font and stylized Eskimo logo on the tail, which tells the world the aircraft belongs to Alaska Airlines. I can't figure out why AS hasn't covered up the "Proudly all Boeing" inscription on their 737s (AS not only flies Airbus aircraft, but its logo and name also appear on Horizon Q400s and SkyWest E175s). Another mystery is why it's taking so long to update the liveries.
Thanks for sharing so we can watch without getting cold! :D Have to disagree though, I love Alaska's new livery! (United's new livery is great too compared to the boring one before it :D)
What Alaska livery do I like the best? Definitely the one that says 'Virgin America' across the side ;) Never thought I would miss an airline that much...
I don't know what it's called, but the livery on the plane you flew on is my favorite and, of course, the face of that native American on the vertical stabilizer is fantastic! Thanks for another great trip report!! BTW, I'm sure that without the airport and Alaska Airlines, Bethel probably would not exist.
Awesome trip report, love your channel soooo much! I really like the old Alaska livery, but my favorite is probably the "salmon thirty salmon". One question, do you ever feel weird filming in the planes or airports, and are you planning to work in the Aviation business? (Sry, I know that was long, but thx for reading it!)
So in February 2020 the Portland Timbers 737-700 was still flying cause I have that model and when I look it up in flight radar 24 it says no flights found

QFS Aviation it’s actually better being longer👍
The longer the better.
The more the better sir
QFS Aviation The length was just fine.
your doing ok ....great work
Alaska looks so beautiful it’s almost unimaginable. It’s on my bucket list to visit one day
I love that old livery.
Favorite Alaska airlines livery has to be either the "honoring those who serve" or the "100 years strong"
That one is amazing for sure!
My favorites livery of all time is the American PSA retro livery on the A319.
41k Feet cool! This morning I saw the honoring those who serve going from anchorage to one of the bigger islands off the coast. (Sorry I don’t know which one)

Me: 😱
My goodness that new Alaska livery is beautiful.
Nice video, no BS. Just good music and snow.
qfs videos, the next best thing to being there. thanks for sharing. be safe.
Great atmosphere during the drive to the airport. Somehow you rarely see pictures with snow, really very beautifully made - thanks!
Beautiful video from start to end. Amazing Montage!! Thanks for an excellent job...as always!
I love that you take us to places I`ve never travelled to. Your work is exceptional Quintin.
Great video! Bethel’s a curious little town! I flew there on an Alaska Air 737 Combi. That was really interesting and quite an experience.
That "Dreamlifter" wonder if that was Kelsey at 74 Gear.🤣
I love a good mystery!

QFS Avation. I love that your videos are longer! I really love your videos and content. Keep up the great work to your videos and content.
Thanks Ben! I appreciate it

These intros are getting better and better. Excellent content the B roll is perfect!
Always well filmed. Always interesting. Thank you for continuing to post.
Great trip report. Thank you for consistently producing exceptional content. I love the old Alaska livery.
Ur tripreports are best. Well done and keep it up
wonderful wingviews with these split scimitar winglets.

I prefer shorter videos great job qfs love your vids Alaska airlines is amazing love them so much
That was a great trip report. In my opinion, it's your best to date. Thank you.
Don't let this video distract you from the fact that Alaska isn't even based out of Alaska... or let alone the fact that their biggest market is California... something here just doesn't add up.
So what lmao what’s wrong with an airline named after the most beautiful state but based in Washington
Well, there is no Air California! Or Washington Airlines...
Lmfao imagine “Seattle Airlines”
okay? do you even know the history of the airline?
Awesome video man! Loved the editing style, nice planespotting footage as well :) Great work!!

I’m loving the Alaskan aviation, show us more!
I will definitely visit Alaska , very nice video.
New livery is my preference. It looks modern and the green and blues palette gives off PNW vibes. The More to Love livery is my favorite out of all.
Dude, Anchorage is basically what Iqaluit or Kuujjuaq airports would look like if they were big. I just love it! Gotta go one day 😍
Amazing flight report! The plane spotting montage was stunning! 🔥
Nice review, love the plane montage! Some serious mountain ranges up there.
Thanks for sharing

@3:12; NA362NC Northern Air Cargo 737-330F. We still have that and fly that.

Nice one, Q! I've always wanted to do the ANC-ADK, which is the longest "in-state" flight in the US. And also to Barrow.

So beautiful

hello, thanks for these great videos. In what frame do you travel in time? Professional, personal? Thank you continue like this 😉
5:10 is Jim Tweto from Flying Wild Alaska or am I crazy???
Nice , a flight from my home state
wow when did you filmed this? Looks like there' still a lot of snow for this month of year.
I like the more to love livery.
Nice vid BTW!
I like The new livery better than The old livery
Nice views
whats the song in your intro? great video mate!
So in February 2020 the Portland Timbers 737-700 was still flying cause I have that model and when I look it up in flight radar 24 it says no flights found
How is this video 2 years old with the old Alaska livery?
They just finally repainted all of the old livery aircraft a few months ago
@@QFSAviation I work for Alaska and haven't seen that livery in at least 4 years. Guess my station is just unlucky.
@@rickyism1576 what station are you based at? Pretty much half of the entire fleet hadn’t been repainted until 2021
@@QFSAviation The new livery was revealed in Jan of 2015. I don't know the specifics of when the aircrafts were sprayed, but that seem very unlikely.
How long ago did you go on this trip that Portland Timbers is still there
Pass the time during one hour flight?
Do the airplanes hurt your ears badly on descent
How did they deal with COVID-19?
That wing tip looks like a 737 Max. Right or wrong?
Right...
Why there is so much cargo plane there?
