I have to say, this video was an eye opener for me! I've canned quite a bit since I started 2 years ago, but we don't eat out of the pantry much. You have definitely inspired me with how to use more of my home canned food! Also, having most of the recipes linked here is fantastic, thank you so much! I did make your Shepards pie recipe last week..it's lovely. Again, thanks for sharing your labor of love...
Hey, Joette! Let's get you eating through all the wonderful things you've canned! So glad you liked the Cottage Stew! It's hard to go wrong with a base from Gordon Ramsay!
I am 77, and I enjoy watching you can. I used to have a 170 acre farm w/ horses, cattle, a large garden, and I canned a lot and I loved it, and I missed it! I decided to start canning again using half pint jars, and I do corn, chicken, beef, sausage, and meatloaf in half pint jars. The half pints are just right for me and most of the time I get two servings, and now I'm one of those old ladies with a cat who thinks he should get that other serving. People with aninals should never throw any scrap of meat away when you can can it for your pets. My pantry used to look like yours but I have to buy vegetables, and where I live people charge extremely high prices, so I try to buy them on sale but they are never as good as my own! I will be canning french fry & steak fry potatoes, applesauce, & apple slices, and whatever fruit I can afford this fall. You have given me good ideas on other things I think I'll try. "I love to can!" Take care and God bless.🙏❤️🕊
I'm so glad you've gotten back into canning! My dog and 2 cats would totally agree with you on the joy of sharing! Not only do they get any "juices" from meats I have canned without seasonings, but they get their own specially canned turkey, chicken, broth, etc too. The unreliability of the pet food supply the past few years really drove home for me that I needed to stock for them as well. I couldn't agree more about the price and availability of good veggies in the stores, but I'm sure you will make the most of whatever you have.
Just wow! My mom is selling her farm and downsizing to a smaller property, so she is giving me all of her jars. She said there are a lot and wondered if I really need that many. I told her it takes about 300 jars per person to feed a family for a year, so heck yeah, bring on the jars! Plus, I'm sure I will be sharing with her and other family members.
From Australia. Wow you are one amazing lady. No one I know even considers putting food away. I don’t have a negative attitude but I certainly recognise the probable necessity to store food with the way global affairs are shaping up. I’m doing my best with mostly bought tins , food and sauces in glass. Rice ,pasta, flour, etc in food saver bags and packed away. I just found you today and I’m sure I can learn a heap from you. Thanks and best wishes everyone. Wish I had an underground room.
Welcome, Helen! Unfortunately, most people here don't put food away either these days. Whether it's something happening in the world or something happening within our own little worlds, I feel much better knowing I can at least feed my family and help others in need. It sounds like you are well on your way.
You have been quite busy this year, Carter! So happy for you and your channel's successes as the viewership continues to rise. Everyone enjoys someone who is genuine, honest, and open. Thank you for each and every video. I'm wishing nothing but the best for you, David, and your family!
Carter, I'm a first-time viewer. I've been worrying about how to keep my goods on the shelves during a seismic disturbance. I saw your bungee cords. That's what I'll do. Of course, if the seismic disturbance is quite large, it will all fall over. But I'll let the Lord worry about that one.
Agreed! I think they'll be good through any probable events, but if a big whopper comes, there's not much you and I can do to keep them on the shelves!
Secure your shelves to the walls with toggle bolts. That's the best you can do. Putting bungee cords in front is a must! I also took old wool socks and cut off the foot part, and slipped them on every other jar as a separation (like a cozy). That way, any rattling won't cause breaks on the shelf, either. Or, you can take strips of bubble wrap to wrap or weave through your jars. It's an extra step, but worth it, IMO.
Your pantry is a beautiful place. I have had to move mine from a small storage space in my home to the spare bedroom because I ran out of room. I'm so proud of my pantry because I know how much work went into canning and I'm always in there rearranging things and trying to decide what else I want to experiment with. It's only the 2 of us and I can get carried away easily.
I am in agreement, it is so easy to get carried away. Especially when my granddaughters ask for their favorites and they have both discovered that grandma can also make baby food for my young great-grandsons. I am seriously thinking it would be fun, starting with applesauce and pumpkin puree, both unsweetened. Not so yummy for us, but healthier for the boys.
Most of my canning has been done as meals. As I am working full-time seven days a week caring for a wild horse refuge. Last winter was a rude awakening. I go to town once a week to get supplies but the snow and ice made this trip extremely difficult. 63 miles took me nearly 4 hours. This year I plan on eating my supplies when this happens. It’s always good to have plenty in stock. I do can a few ingredients for making soups in other things. Watching you ladies on UA-cam, have shown me so many good tricks and techniques for canning different things. Thank you so much for putting this knowledge out there.
I am really enjoying this video and how you explained what you like what are your favorites. I usually don’t watch pantry tours but have done and excellent job both visually and the recipes you provided for us. Very thankful that I have come across your channel. I have saved this video and shared with my friends and most of all look forward to more. Thank you for all the work you do in sharing and bonus you are keto !!!
This is probably my favorite pantry video ever. Such great information and what you use each product for. So helpful. Blessings to you and your family. I hope your son had a great birthday.
Totally jealous of your canned pantry. In the last few years, I’ve only started to create a lot of my own food and started to do a little canning. However, I live in an apartment and there’s not a lot of space for me to store up food like you have done. Would love to eventually have a small little Homestead where I can grow and raise some of my own food. then be able to dehydrate from freeze dry, and even have root cellars like my grandparents used to have. It’s funny when I was younger I taught the cellars and stuff was silly. You could get whatever you needed from the store but now that I’m older, and I know more about nutrition and quality food my grandparents having the two root cellars was extremely smart and wise. What I love now about the root cellar they had was one was dry and cool, and the other was damp and cool. My grandfather built the two of them in the dump cool one he put a water feature to create the perfect atmosphere for certain foods.. when I was a kid, my grandmother explained to me how certain foods like different environments, some foods would go in their cool, dark dry cellar, and others would go in the cool, dark, damp cellar. Now that I’m older myself, and after living in cities, my entire life and experiencing the horrendous treatment people received under totalitarian governments through COVID-19. Has made me want to have my own little place where I produce a large portion of my own food. What an eye-opener that whole experience was for me.
Grew up with my mother and grandmother canning everything. Last year we started the canning process and this year our 12× 12 room was maxed out so the husband bought me a 12 x 24 building and we have turned it into a canning kitchen with approximately 1500 jars canned. Yours looks amazing, mine is only what I know we will eat but next summer we will get more creative.
Just came across your channel for the first time. Love your pantry. Yes, everyone’s pantry is different. I just seriously started canning a couple years ago. I am still learning how best to use stuff. I do love soups as does our extended family. Yesterday I canned 14 quarts of beef bone broth.
Your pantry is beautiful. Reminds me of canning days. I started canning at 5 with my grandmother & and great-grandmother for many, many years, we canned everything, yes in the days long before any government had the crazy idea to tell you, you can't and how dangerous it is to do so. I'm 62 and still going strong with my canning.
Welcome, Spark! So glad to have you here! What a wonderful experience it must have been canning with your grandmother and great grand mother! You are very lucky.
Thank you! This is wonderful! I just started canning and I'm looking for new things to can. I love your pantry tour because you're not just telling us what it is, but how you use it. I love that you like lower sugar, have a small household, and make unique meals. I'm looking forward to watching more videos! I hope to see you making these!
I feel so guilty this year. I did no canning this year. Life got in the way. I’m so bummed watching you share your lovely pantry. I have goals for next year now.
You don't have to wait until next year😘you can always get extra food when you go to the grocery store or farmers market and can something today or tomorrow... Rome wasn't built in a day neither are pantries...one jar at a time or regarding Rome, one brick or stone at a time... You've got this 🎉
@@growandpreserve thanks. I have learned over the years not to make 24 gallons of ferments for one year…. The two of us couldn’t eat that much. I like that you use chutney as an ingredient… I do too just like everything I can. Your shelves full are impressive. My husband built cabinets, but guess what? They are full so now I have jars on the counter too…..
Will do! I do love what I do! In the meantime, I do have a playlist for cooking from the pantry: ua-cam.com/play/PLgEXQ3mnC4jfpnhqJnRcaPS9vAgB9Qraj.html
Carter.first time watching. Your pantry is great! If your hubby is on Metformin please request older fiabetes meds. They comepletly shut off the Pancreas creating wild sugar readings. My Mom had readings of 500 and she could hardly eat anything. After she suddenly passed in my vehicle I researched what could have caused her passing. Metformin has many side effects. My best friend very fit had 400 readings on it. Got her to get off it and shes within normal range now...
Oh my goodness the Neiman Marcus of pantries. Just beautiful. Colors and quantity. Amazing. So glad you have your crawl space. I'm out of room here. Thursday I will get the ok from eye doctor so I can lift more than 10 pounds. Stopping by Costco for stew meat to can. Can't wait. Have a great week. Enjoyed your video. Thanks again.
Um, excuse me m’am…how inspiring and informative was this video??!! This was my first year really canning-I did beets, several soups, chicken, bacon, ground beef, stew, chili, carrots and some butters… never did chutneys or sauces cuz I thought it was a waste of time-you’ve totally changed my thinking!!! Absolutely can’t wait to watch more of your videos!
Wow, Carter, what a great pantry you have! Those bungie cords guarding your glass jars remind of canning shelves here in California where the temblors occasionally rock and roll us. I do love a nice 4 to 5 on the old Richter scale but I grew up near San Francisco so that fits. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
First video of yours that I’ve watched… I’m totally intrigued. I largely did no canning this year because I am keto and was frustrated by all the sugar in the recipes. I am very interested in the recipes you made with allulose… hope those are on video! ❤❤ Thankyou!!
Welcome, Elissa! Yes, the vast majority of my recipes using allulose are on video. We need to get you back into canning! If you have questions about any of the recipes, feel free to reach out.
Thanks so much for sharing! I was quite impressed with your pantry. This was really the first year I got into canning. I had around 110 jars and I thought that was a lot. Now that I've seen yours with 1300+ cans I feel ok doing more. I love watching your channel and have made a number of your recipies, including Texas chili, potatoes, and sausages. After seeing this, I wrote down a number of items I want to try. I live in Maui, so food security is quite important here. You've inspired me to do more. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge!
Welcome, Deborah! So glad to have you here. 110 jars is a huge accomplishment, but as long are you are actually using what you can, you can definitely do more, if you'd like. Food security is critical, especially at a time when supply chains and weather are so temperamental. You do what eases your mind and feeds your family.
I'm so glad to hear you say that about jar stacking. It's ridiculous the number of people who repeat something they've heard or read, and claim it's fact. The people doing that in Facebook canning groups is crazy. And then if you ask for proof, they accuse you of trying to kill your family.😂
Happy Birthday Son💙 I wish I could give thumbs up for every good idea you have, thank you for your time. Although I’ve always canned peaches, my pressure canning career stared last year when I bought a Presto on Black Friday. I would be thrilled to bits if I had 1300 jars of food on my shelf. I also use half pints and pints to can, as I am alone and it’s more practical. 🌸
I wish my pantry looked as nice as yours!! Space is issue. BTW, I did small batch chicken soup for my dad, he loved it! Farmers would put up excess because next year isn't promised. 😊
I acquired a rather large amount of half-gallon and quart sized jars a few years back. (Apx 1,200 total.) I have been looking for a good shelving solution for them. And thankfully you just made my day. I absolutely love how you did yours. I am also looking for a good supply of pints, and a few dozen half-pints too. Just a note: the squash bugs were terrible in my part of West Tennessee this year. I didn't manage to get the first butternut. Hopefully next year. Really like your setup. Just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to look at.
Thanks so much, Jason! Fantastic job on all those jars! I do love my shelves. Note that I bought an extra complete unit just so I could steal its shelves to fit my jars better. So the squash bugs headed to your house since I didn't plant squash this year? So sorry about that! Hoping they're tired of both of us for 2024!
@@growandpreserve I will probably start with 4 sets of those shelves. I don't really have enough smaller sizes to justify the "extra" shelf. (Yet!) Unfortunately my local farmer's market didn't have many squash this year. I was not the only one with uninvited bugs. But I will definitely try again next year. Good luck with your next attempt.
Carter, this video is phenomenal and truly “goal worthy!” The recipe links are greatly appreciated as well. Please know that your account is so appreciated and shared with anyone who will listen to my suggestions when asked about canning 😉 I’m excited to hear about your freeze dryer (I may take that plunge as well). Happy Holidays ♥️ and Happy Belated Birthday, Max 🥳 Karen
Just found your channel. Thank you for the tour. I will be checking out your other videos. Your son and I share birthdays. So happy early birthday to your son 🎉🎉🎉
Wow! Great variety. I love the canned taco meat & meat spaghetti sauce. My son really likes sloppy Joe's. I plan to can that and several of your recipies. Thank you!
I just found your channel! I love it! You really explain things very well! I’ll be going through all your videos and canning things I never thought possible. Thanks so much!
I did the same elastic thing with my canning shelves and they are bolted to the wall studs...I live in earthquake country and the thought of losing all that work is dismaying. Thanks Carter.
We follow the same awesome channels. 1389 of beautiful jars! Time to take more out of the freezer to get canned this week. Thank you for the additional ideas. Looking forward to the freeze dryer vids. On the bucket list for one.
Looks wonderful Carter and I think you are on track. What a blessing to have all that stock for your family. Blessings and thanks for the great content.
Wow!!!! What a beautiful pantry!!!!!!! I've got to get my food up on shelves. I just put the jars back in the boxes, but I must haave shelves now!!!! Its safer and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
Beautiful, awesome tour! We do a lot of food preservation and you’ve given me some new ideas. We need a better shelving system before I create a pantry video. I clicked the link for your shelves and unfortunately they’re out of stock.
So sorry they're out of stock at the moment. They had availability last week. Hopefully they'll get them back quickly. I think you will be really pleased with these shelves.
@@growandpreserve we build and just figured yours look amazing and the cost is affordable and it wouldn’t take from our time on the job. I’ll check back in a few days. Thank you again.
I have sound ! Weird, I watched a whole lot of canning pantry videos, but it's the first time that the items on the shelves I watched the owner make them, LOL!
Oh Carter, such a beautiful, inspiring body of work. I love the variety you have put away. I identify with the person who said they have turned a spare bedroom into a pantry-it reflects what we’ve done. Creating meals from food that I have put away and knowing the exact ingredients we are consuming brings a satisfying peace of mind. I’m making apple and beet things this month with fresh organic produce from Azure. I don’t have any of either of those items currently on my shelves. Congratulations on your well earned continued growth!
You are a woman after my own heart. We grow and process about 95% of our yearly organic food supply here at the homestead/mini-farm. Being Pescetarians, we don't eat any meat, so our pantry and freezers are packed with veggies of various kinds. We occasionally eat shrimp, tuna, and salmon, but it is probably once weekly, and of course there are "The Girls" for farm-fresh eggs. Keep up the good work(s,) it's very fulfilling to be sustainable and there is nothing like a full pantry for a pat-on-the-back from all the hard work.
I just found you here! I love your tour. I am glad to search out your videos using allulose. I need to stay keto as much as possible. I have learned a lot today, and am looking forward to searching out your other videos. Thank you so much!
Great canning and video! Strong work. I started pressure canning the last 3 years. It is addicting. You are correct, I don't use the finished product enough! I am not an excellent cook so I struggle with that. Have fun.
My goodness at 60yrs old and an avid chutney maker for years I only just learnt from you about using it as an ingredient 😂 never even thought about it before now🤪!
I’m just starting on my canning/ bottling journey. I’ve always frozen or dried food before or made pickles & jams. I am in AWE of your pantry. I love the colours too, you can appreciate how the women pioneers of 200years ago would have derived a great deal of pleasure from the filled pantry. I also think that here in NZ we store them differently as we have frequent earthquakes- so we have to take especial care! Then again we don’t have to worry about deer or raccoons… just possums. Great video. Thank you.
I am loving your content. Your pantry is beautiful. Two of my favorites that I made from your videos are the Korean beef and the street tacos but made with chicken. I plan to try many more. Thank you for all you do!!
Those are some of my favorite videos to do! I will put more on my to-do list. In the meantime, this playlist on Cooking from the Pantry will get you started: ua-cam.com/play/PLgEXQ3mnC4jfpnhqJnRcaPS9vAgB9Qraj.html
Carter this is Amazing!! Thank you for sharing. I am looking forward to the upcoming videos on how you use all of this. Love your content. Happy Birthday to your son! Bet you’re excited about the freeze dryer!!
Thanks so much, Karen! Max says thanks also for the birthday wishes! I am excited about the freeze dryer! I've been watching lots of videos on it. Looking forward to seeing what works best!
Hi Carter you mentioned in the video about your remodel and if we had any suggestions.Well here it goes 😂 You mentioned that you don’t use the top oven: Take the oven out and have that converted for your platter/ pie dish storage area. Keep your cookbook area the same because you said several times you love your books there!💜Don’t change what you love just saying lol. Having your books down low will be hard to read titles. The island that you are having built where you were going to put your cookbooks put another dishwasher there by your prep sink so you can have easier access for your just sanitized canning jars😊Could save you time and steps the older we get it helps a lot lol💜
Ii think that's great! Especially considering there are 365 days a year. And if you consider 3or4 jars a day cuz those are the smaller jars, you could even add more. Especially where the meat and bake beans are concerned. Thanks for sharing.
Ms Carter I just found your channel and WOW your pantry is Amazing. Happy belated Birthday to your son... I'm from middle GA and also lived in ATL... Im going to binge watch your older videos and look forward to seeing the new ones. God Bless you and your family from middle GA 🤗🤗🙏 Kendra
What a terrific tour of your pantry. It's the best I've ever seen. I subbed and will enjoy watching all your past videos along with what you are up to now. Thank you so much for sharing.
I just ordered the sugar substitute you use and going to make the cowboy candy. My husband is a diabetic but loves hot stuff so this should work good for him. Thanks.@@growandpreserve
Thank you for the Canning Tour Carter so many ideas! May I ask instead about what kind of shelving you use to hold all that incredible food. I'm late to the game and I have really been enjoying your canning videos its been quite the education.
Welcome, Kathy! These are the shelves I have: www.samsclub.com/p/members-mark-5-shelf-storage-rack/prod19280016 Do note that I bought an extra unit so I could have extra shelves.
This video was packed with I formation. I would love some future videos showing how you use your condiments as ingredients in different recipes to create easy and unique flavors.
❤❤❤Beautiful display of all of your hard work. You’re such an inspiration. I’m especially drawn to your channel because, like you, it’s just two of us and canning in pints and half-pints is mainly what I do.
What a beautiful pantry! I am looking forward to seeing what you do with your canned meats. I have lots of beef, chicken and pork on my shelves. I have made a delicious fajita flavored taco bowl with the canned pork. I recently canned pot roast in a jar, and it is so good that I'll never cook pot roast any other way again. Thank you for your wonderful videos!
I am so jealous. I would love to have a pantry. I put a shelf on my dining room...which looks awful. I still need to get my canned stuff out of the light.
Your shelves are fantastic... Chutney is great poured over a block of cream cheese. Over ice cream or a vornstarch pudding biscuits scones quick breads and toast. Its great on a turkey sandwhich....
No one gets it just right from the beginning! It's taken me years to find the proper mix for the way we eat/cook. I still shake it up every now and then...sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't!
Home canned pantries are one of the most beautiful things in the world. Yours is gorgeous. Well done.
Thank you, Colleen! I find shelves of home canned goods (even ugly chicken) beautiful too!
@@growandpreserveI don't find ugly chicken ugly. I love all the colors(and flavors) on my shelves
❤i was told you could not stack jars on top of each other

Yours looks amazing, mine is only what I know we will eat but next summer we will get more creative.
Wow, Regina! What an amazing and successful year you've had!
I am amazed! Your pantry is my goal post now. Gorgeous and delicious work!
Thanks so much! 😊
Just came across your channel for the first time. Love your pantry. Yes, everyone’s pantry is different. I just seriously started canning a couple years ago. I am still learning how best to use stuff. I do love soups as does our extended family. Yesterday I canned 14 quarts of beef bone broth.
Welcome, Jo-ann! it sounds like you're off to a great start!
Welcome, Laurie! I do have videos on most of these. Let me know if I can help.
I feel so guilty this year. I did no canning this year. Life got in the way. I’m so bummed watching you share your lovely pantry. I have goals for next year now.
No need for guilt! Life happens!
You don't have to wait until next year😘you can always get extra food when you go to the grocery store or farmers market and can something today or tomorrow... Rome wasn't built in a day neither are pantries...one jar at a time or regarding Rome, one brick or stone at a time... You've got this 🎉
It is a great achievement. Fortunately I have a full basement and even put in a partial kitchen down there.
That is awesome!
Would love a series on recipe ideas to use these items. I really need to go rewatch a lot of your canning videos. You seem to love what you can!
Will do! I do love what I do! In the meantime, I do have a playlist for cooking from the pantry: ua-cam.com/play/PLgEXQ3mnC4jfpnhqJnRcaPS9vAgB9Qraj.html
Love to see videos on all of it, thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks, Gloria. I do have videos on most of them.
Welcome, Deb! So sorry about your mom. I haven't heard about issues with Metformin. No, my husband is not on it. He has cancer, not diabetes.
First timer. I am now realizing just how much I truly suck 😢 You have inspired me. Thank you.
Welcome! You definitely don't suck! Your pantry will get to wherever you want it to be. It takes time!
Your Canning pantry looks beautiful. If I’d canned all of that I’d just stand & stare at it all the time. You Are Amazing! God Bless You!
Thanks so much, Carolyn!
I love this Video it has sparked a desire to do a lot more canning with MEATS which I have never done before!!!! Thanks for sharing😋
I'm so glad to hear that, Julia! Having meat on the shelf means dinner is always just a few minutes away.
@@growandpreserve I am so glad I found you! Your video is filled with so much information.
Thanks, Donna! So glad you're about to be done with the eye stuff. I've been thinking about you!
that sounds like my kind of planning... avoid them... "hope they forget where I live" ... love it!
Wonderful! You are well on your way, Kellie!
I like watching these videos to get more ideas on what to can next.
What an amazing accomplishment! Kudos. Beautiful shelving. Fantastic food storage.
Thanks, Linda! Yes, protecting your jars in California is a must!
I have found that canning is an addiction! ,🥰
I'm right there with you!
Indeed!
Absolutely beautiful pantry! I love the way you put all your previous videos in the description too!
Thanks so much! 😊
Welcome, Jean! Pressure canning opens so many great options, doesn't it? We'll get you to 1300 in no time!
What a blessing to have the space for storage! We were farmers when younger can or froze everything! It is work but so rewarding! Beautiful job!👏🏼👏🏼
I wish my pantry looked as nice as yours!! Space is issue. BTW, I did small batch chicken soup for my dad, he loved it! Farmers would put up excess because next year isn't promised. 😊
So glad your dad loved the soup! Thanks for letting me know.
What an inspiration I Can too, but it’s only me, but I like doing with my food to❤
I acquired a rather large amount of half-gallon and quart sized jars a few years back. (Apx 1,200 total.)
I have been looking for a good shelving solution for them.
@@growandpreserve
I will probably start with 4 sets of those shelves. I don't really have enough smaller sizes to justify the "extra" shelf. (Yet!)
Unfortunately my local farmer's market didn't have many squash this year. I was not the only one with uninvited bugs. But I will definitely try again next year.
Good luck with your next attempt.
Carter, this video is phenomenal and truly “goal worthy!” The recipe
links are greatly appreciated as well. Please know that your account is
so appreciated and shared with anyone who will listen to my suggestions
when asked about canning 😉
I’m excited to hear about your freeze dryer (I may take that plunge as well).
Happy Holidays ♥️ and Happy Belated Birthday, Max 🥳
Karen
Thank you so much, Karen!
Just found your channel. Thank you for the tour. I will be checking out your other videos. Your son and I share birthdays. So happy early birthday to your son 🎉🎉🎉
Welcome, Janet! Happy birthday to you!
Wow! Great variety. I love the canned taco meat & meat spaghetti sauce. My son really likes sloppy Joe's. I plan to can that and several of your recipies. Thank you!
Such good things to have on the shelf!
I just found your channel! I love it! You really explain things very well! I’ll be going through all your videos and canning things I never thought possible. Thanks so much!
Welcome, Anita! So glad to have you here!
Wow, how beautiful those shelves look Carter! Job well done! You should be very proud. God bless!
Thank you, Patty!
I did the same elastic thing with my canning shelves and they are bolted to the wall studs...I live in earthquake country and the thought of losing all that work is dismaying. Thanks Carter.
Glad you've taken care of it!
Just found you and have been bing watching ever since. Such great information. Thank you
Welcome, Teresa! Good to have you here!
We follow the same awesome channels. 1389 of beautiful jars! Time to take more out of the freezer to get canned this week. Thank you for the additional ideas. Looking forward to the freeze dryer vids. On the bucket list for one.
Welcome, NorthernGirl! Moving stuff from the freezer to the pantry is a constant process, isn't it?
@@growandpreserve 💯 it is. Need to free up some space for our moose or deer incoming. I have a slight food preservation addiction. 🫣
Looks wonderful Carter and I think you are on track. What a blessing to have all that stock for your family. Blessings and thanks for the great content.
Thanks so much!
Wow!!!! What a beautiful pantry!!!!!!! I've got to get my food up on shelves. I just put the jars back in the boxes, but I must haave shelves now!!!! Its safer and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
I really do like having them on shelves. Before I had this space, I kept them in their boxes all over the house. Keep me posted, Betty!
Wow I can’t believe it. What a great pantry. Thank you for linking all the recipes. I need to get busy.
I can’t believe you have sound! Hooray! So happy you stuck with me!
Thanks so much, Carol! I imagine your pantry is pretty spectacular these days. You've made such beautiful things.
There's a homemade spray you can use on squash bugs. It's made with hot peppers and it's really effective. You can find recipes online.
Thanks, Matthew!
I just came upon your channel. I love it! Thank you for sharing!
Welcome!!
I use salsa in the crock pot with chicken for salsa chicken, or with beef for a burrito bake.
Nice ideas!
Love this video, and your pictures of your food is so pretty! I appreciate you.
I admire your creativity and variety/ies. Most other channels can a ton of the same thing. Will need to binge watch your vlogs.
Welcome, Victoria!
Happy belated birthday, Max!
It sounds like you have an outstanding set-up! So glad to have you here.
I just found you here! I love your tour. I am glad to search out your videos using allulose. I need to stay keto as much as possible. I have learned a lot today, and am looking forward to searching out your other videos. Thank you so much!
Welcome, Gail!
@@growandpreserve thanks! lots to learn. thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for the chutney info. My shelves are full of the stuff that sounded good. Now it may also be used
Sounds great!
You're about to have so much fun with it, Dawn!
You are an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home canned pantry.
Thank you, Sheree!
I loved how you attached videos in the box below , thanks
You’re welcome 😊
I’m just starting on my canning/ bottling journey. I’ve always frozen or dried food before or made pickles & jams. I am in AWE of your pantry. I love the colours too, you can appreciate how the women pioneers of 200years ago would have derived a great deal of pleasure from the filled pantry. I also think that here in NZ we store them differently as we have frequent earthquakes- so we have to take especial care! Then again we don’t have to worry about deer or raccoons… just possums. Great video. Thank you.
Thanks, Amanda! Welcome! Such a fun journey you've started!
I am loving your content. Your pantry is beautiful. Two of my favorites that I made from your videos are the Korean beef and the street tacos but made with chicken. I plan to try many more. Thank you for all you do!!
Excellent! Good to have you here, kam!
Can you please make video L’s on how you use your canned products?
How you put a meal together, what you use etc etc
Hi Carter you mentioned in the video about your remodel and if we had any suggestions.Well here it goes 😂
You mentioned that you don’t use the top oven: Take the oven out and have that converted for your platter/ pie dish storage area.
Good point!
Welcome, Kendra! Good to have you here.
What a terrific tour of your pantry. It's the best I've ever seen. I subbed and will enjoy watching all your past videos along with what you are up to now. Thank you so much for sharing.
Welcome! Good to have you here!
WOW Love your pantry! I have to go back and watch alot of your past canning videos.
Yes, you do! ;-)
I just ordered the sugar substitute you use and going to make the cowboy candy. My husband is a diabetic but loves hot stuff so this should work good for him. Thanks.@@growandpreserve
I just found you today and boy am I glad! I loved the pantry tour, and will look forward to watching your other videos!
Welcome, Deb! Good to have you here!
Your pantry is inspiring and gorgeous!!!
This video was packed with I formation. I would love some future videos showing how you use your condiments as ingredients in different recipes to create easy and unique flavors.
Working on it!
❤❤❤Beautiful display of all of your hard work. You’re such an inspiration. I’m especially drawn to your channel because, like you, it’s just two of us and canning in pints and half-pints is mainly what I do.
Thank you so much! Happy to have you here!
Very impressive pantry..........thank you for sharing.
Thanks, Chevy!
Thanks, Pamela! I couldn't agree more about pot roast in a jar! Yum!
Beautiful stocked pantry Carter! You have given me the itch to count my jars lol Happy Birthday Max! 🎉🎉🎉
Hey, Red! Great to see you! Max says thank you for the birthday wishes. Go count those jars!
Thanks for the tour. Your food looks amazing! I will use the bungee cords idea.
I am so jealous. I would love to have a pantry. I put a shelf on my dining room...which looks awful. I still need to get my canned stuff out of the light.
One step at a time. Until recently, my jars were all over the house and mostly in my husband's closet.
I have always stacked my smaller jars too….never had any problems!
Your shelves are fantastic...
Chutney is great poured over a block of cream cheese. Over ice cream or a vornstarch pudding biscuits scones quick breads and toast.
Its great on a turkey sandwhich....
Yes to all of the above!
Happy Birthday Max. Wishing you a wonderful day.
Max says, thank you, Donna!
First time watching and subscribed. I'm looking forward to watching more. Your recipe ideas sound scrumptious!
Welcome, Wendy!
@@growandpreserve thank you!
Thanks for sharing. I look forward to trying some of your recipes ❤😊
Welcome, Linda!
Beautiful pantry!! Youve inspired me!
Thanks, Tenshi!
Excellent video of what we should be doing. Thank you! I have made the mistake of making too many meal starters that I don't care for.
No one gets it just right from the beginning! It's taken me years to find the proper mix for the way we eat/cook. I still shake it up every now and then...sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't!
