    Hi , I used Avent bottle 3 months and this bottle turn into yellow . Can I continually use it ? Could you please explain why it is changed to yellow ?

    • @Philips
      @Philips  7 місяців тому

      Thank you for reaching out to us with regard to your bottles turning yellow in color. We would like to let you know that discoloration is when Avent baby bottles change color, usually too yellow, orange, or pink. This can happen because of food colorings that dissolve into plastic material. These colorings can mix with fats and get absorbed into the plastic, causing discoloration. Other things that can cause discoloration include residues from previous washes, cleaning agents, calcium buildup from hard water, and direct sunlight. Also, it's safe to use them if the bottle color changes. The discoloration should not affect the performance or safety of the Avent baby bottles. We hope we have answered your question. If you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We're available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare).

    It is mentioned in the manual that don't use antibacterial cleanser to clean bottles.. what is the reason for it?
    Bcoz most of the liquid cleanser has antibacterial for baby feeding bottle cleaning?
    Can you suggest me good Philips liquid to clean feeding bottles?

    • @Philips
      @Philips  2 роки тому

      Hi, Krishnaveni. Thank you for your question. Harsh liquids will damage the bottles. Sterilizing is more than enough! Please clean after every use. Hope this helps. If you have more questions people feel free to reach out to us on our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. We're always ready to help.

      Thank you for contacting us, Sowmiya. Always clean and sterilize your Philips Avent bottle and nipple after each use. Follow these steps on how to sterilize your Philips Avent bottle and nipple in boiling water. 1. Disassemble the bottle and nipple. 2. Bring plenty of water to a boil. 3. Place all parts in boiling water for 5 minutes. 4. Make sure that the parts do not touch each other or the side of the pan, This prevents deformation and damage. If possible, clean with the Philips Avent bottle and nipple brush. Do not use corrosive or antibacterial cleaners, chemical solutions, or concentrated cleaners. Please keep in mind that you should not leave a feeding nipple or AirFree vent insert in direct sunlight or heat. Also, never leave the disinfectant on longer than recommended, as this may weaken the parts. Keep all parts dry in a covered container. We hope this information helps. If you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We're available on Facebook (@Philips) and Twitter (@PhilipsCare).

    Hi we are using philips manual breast pump which comes with a philips avent natural bottle. Presently after every use we are using only the bottle and after every use we are boiling the articles for 5 mins. Later they are stored in the closed container. My question - do we need to keep the bottle parts in boiling water before feeding? Usually we feed for every 3 hours.

      Hi there, Avent bottles should only be sterilized as instructed in the manual (avent sterilizers or boiling) because they’re not tested for other types of sterilizers as far as we know. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
