I was crying my eyes out when mickey was looking at the photo and if he only said ..I wish you were here my old friend but you always said the show have to go on I mean, of everyone Mickey has to be the one who is really hurt. Because Mickey was the first one he created This was really beautiful Seeing everyone together like this😭🥺🥹
if he said that, oh boy the feels
@@ZealK10omg mickey was his first child😭😭😭😭
I wish he said something like “Thanks Dad.”
@@rockmacher me two 😭🥺
@@dylandupre420Oswald the lucky rabbit was made before Mickey so basically Mickey is the 2nd not 1st
The older gentleman at the beginning of the film is Burny Mattinson. He was the longest serving employee of the company. Started back on Lady And The Tramp in the 50s. He created Legend the dog in the movie Strange Worlds last year. Passed away back in February.
❤ thx for noting that. I don’t think the creator of the video was aware. He’s forgiven and I love his enthusiasm!
Oh noo😢
Happy 100 years of Disney magic 🪄 RIP Walt Disney and thank you for bringing us these timeless classic movies that have brought us joy and laughter in our hearts and childhoods 👍❤️🥲
❤
You should read the books that inspired the movies.

Disney is not dead
@@wobblewobblewobble7806 his legacy will live on Forever.
Fun fact: that little boy the flew past Olaf was a character voiced by Robin Williams in video in the parks that talked and showed animation based on him being Peter Pan.
Also Feed the birds played over a picture of Walt as it was his favorite song.
This was so magical. I loved it.
"Do you think people could feel for me?" - Robin Williams, 'Back to Neverland'.
@@AttemptedVoices you mean hook?
I always loved the Jungle Book better 😊
cool fact!
Another thing about "Feed The Birds":
This specific version was made for this short, and it was performed by none other than Richard Sherman (who wrote FTB with his brother, the late Robert Sherman). What really ties this all together, though, is that Sherman plays this on the same piano, in the same studio in Burbank, California, where he (and his brother) would play this for Walt Disney himself!!
My favorite things about this short:
-The interaction with Walt's picture (and "Feed the Birds")
-Hearing Belle, Pocahontas and Ariel (albeit briefly) sing again!
-I did not expect to hear Quasimodo sing here, which was a huge surprise for me. I got chills hearing his voice again! "Out There" is one of my favorite songs of all-time, so I am happy beyond belief that Disney gave the character and Hunchback movie a little love here!
-Aristocats getting a little love here too with Scat Cat appearing here along with Thomas O'Malley.
-The Genie reappearing with Robin Williams archived dialogue.
-The end shot :)
w
-"Every guy here'd love to be you, Gaston..."
- "Never better, Garfield."
I would kill over a full length feature film of this.
there was supposed to be one. Mickey goes missing and Basil of Baker Street was supposed to go through every Disney film to find him, but they cancelled that in favor of Tangled
@@alicedelgado955 bro, my heart just broke. I love The Great Mouse Detective and that would've been everything for me.
@@alicedelgado955 Well, they say no idea at Disney is ever completely dead, so maybe someday...
honestly we need this
And for it to be on the big screen, not straight to Disney +.
Happy 100th Anniversary, Disney! Thank you for making me believe, making me laugh, making me cry, making me sing, making me dance, making me smile, making me dream, making me thrilled, making me entertained, and making me feel like a child again!
I know right! I’m never too old for Disney! I feel like that I want to be a kid again too!

I loved seeing the older and First ever Disney characters interacting with the Most Current and Newer Characters was so cute and amazing, I love how with the older Characters they were redrawn in a Newer & much updated animation art style but still looked like their old selves was a beautiful touch too. I even loved how they included Asha (the most current Disney Princess Heroine holding hands with the First Disney Princess Heroine Snow White of the Classics Era along with Mulan who finishes the Renaissance Era of Disney Princesses adding Asha to the most current one of all The New Age Era aka “The Independent Woman Era”)
Its truly amazing how far we have come with animation.
@@DravenMayberry yes indeed, It feels so long ago when the Shift from Hand Drawn to Computer Animation tech but then I remember the last movie Hand Drawn by Disney was Princess and the Frog in 2009 which is still long ago but feels unreal haha
@@DravenMayberryDo you have a link to the video by any chance?
@@Flyboy1953 really?!?! Well my my I didn’t know that I’ve always known that Princess and the Frog was the last one hand drawn but that’s cool Winnie the Pooh was. Honestly these Two were the last goodbye to an amazing Era of Animation I guess :)
The short film is phenomenal. Seeing my favorite Disney Characters coming to life is amazing. Hearing Robin Williams as The Genie 1 last time brought tears to my eyes 😭. Happy 100th Anniversary Disney . Thanks for The Joy and Laughter
In all honesty this is the most beautiful short I have ever seen Disney make. The two best parts have got to be seeing Robin Williams make one more voice appearance as the Genie, and seeing Mickey paying his respects to his father, Walt Disney.
w
And the ending
If you're wondering if that was Robin Williams it is! They used pre-recorded scripts that were not used in the Aladdin movie!
I figured it was something like that they did. Is this also the case with Ursula? Because that "Oh no no no" part sounds exactly like Pat Carrol.
@@DidrickNamtvedtI think it was reused from the movie. I think it’s when found that Ariel is in love with prince. The classic scene of Ariel doing part of of your world on a rock with a wave behind her.
This was such a tribute to not just to Walt Disney himself, but to Disney fans of all generations. I had such a blast looking for all of the characters that were in this, and I just know the more I watch it, the more I’m going to keep finding characters I haven’t noticed the previous times watching this
Ladies and gentlemen and fellow Disney fans, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the guys and all the characters at Disney for making us all entertained for 100 years.
Dude, they should make the new modern version of the House of Mouse with all the old, new and recent characters
I've just watched it, and the cameos that must surprised me were Antonio and Mirabel at the end playing the accordion.
fr!
What I really liked about this short was that for the genie, instead of using AI, they used some unpublished dialogue from Robin Williams himself in the recording booth.
Indeed.
There's no beating the genuine article.
ESPECIALLY if it's Robin Williams!
Would you believe he was shy, distant and antisocial before he went into acting class in high school?
Lots of the audio use are from the actual archives.
It couldn’t be Disney without “make it pink/blue” and “yaaaahoooohooooooooooooo” mayham scream and Jimmy Cricket singing that last piece! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
This is a mind-blowing moment all Disney movies, and every Disney Character such an brilliant way to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary.
At the end I wanted to cry 🥹 seeing all the Disney characters from my childhood ❤
Happy 100th Anniversary Disney!!! 😄❤️
I loved this short! DISNEY NEEDS TO DO MORE OF THIS!!!! also CHICKEN LITTLE!!!😊
Even if the Chicken Little movie is not very appreciated, it is still part of Disney, so it makes sense the characters also appear on the short that celebrates every piece of work ever done by Disney. Too bad that we didn't get to have all the Disney Princesses, as Merida is from Pixar.
Yes it was Robin. They used a lot of the original voices if they could. They have a lot of material for Robin in the archives.
Sititch still not tamed and lilo just took him away hahahaha
lmao

Nice to know im not the only one glad to see Chicken Little in there. That little dude deserves more love!
Just goes to show, even when it comes to hand drawn animation, they've still got it. Wish they'd go back to experimenting with that again, especially given the animation revolution occurring presently. Was really nice seeing old characters in a new light again :)
yessss
I was happy that they brought old disney movies
same!!!
Can you imagine this as a tv series, it would be awesom like this corto is ❤
House of Mouse reboot when?
@@lozfan59 kinda, but just the carachters not the cortos
This looks amazing. Disney should make a web or TV series where the animated Disney characters are interact with each other. Some of the female unmarried Disney girl dogs could flirt with some of dog guys like Pongo, Tramp, or Tod much to their wives disgust. Raya could sword play with Mulan or anyone with a sword. Robin Hood and Little John could get into trouble with Nick and Judy. Sisu could swim with Airle and others who live in the water. The Disney princesses could dance and sing with Pop Star Gazelle from Zootopia. And all the villains could have a villain meeting. And so much more.
Maybe in such a TV show there could be a line of diagloue hinting that Nick is descdendt from King Richard of Robin Hood, and maybe Judy could be descanded from the boy bunny who is a Robin Hood fan? Its already is fans' head
They DID something similar to that with House of Mouse. (Which, for some God-unknown reason, isn't on Disney Plus as yet.)
Me after viewing this:
"Is it me or does the world seem like a slightly better place than it did eight minutes ago?"
"Someone ate the page!" 5:51
They’re the best that Disney has to offer.
2:06 Oh my god! I just can’t! I thought they’ve forgotten about Treasure Planet!
I loved this short (It made me cry a little) (I was so happy that all Characters 2D and 3D came together) (And Lewis and Wilbur being there was a Special Moment for me even though we never saw them coming out of the Picture Walls along with Simba, Kuzco, Belle, Beast, Ariel, Quasimodo, Ralph, Raya etc) (This short is giving me those Vibes and Hopes that maybe a wish for a House of Mouse Revival with the Characters that were in the Short and hopefully Pixar Characters)
wwwwwwww
I love that they got Chris Diamantopoulos to do Mickey’s voice instead of Bret Iwan. Chris has only done Mickey’s voice in the Paul Rudish shorts so it’s great to see him in a traditional Mickey project.
That’s because his voice is similar to Walt’s voice of Mickey
I'm really glad that treasure Planet got a little moment in this, it's one of my favorites.
Omg i almost cried... Disney has been part of my childhood forever and seeing Oswald show up i leaped outta my chair i love that rabbit
Makes me so happy that they put Disney’s first princess Snow White with the last one Asha. We’ve come such a long way. ❤
On every Disney shorts but for this one, my emotions to me right now I’m speechless. Literally cry inside my hearts as Disney superfans for 100 years like me, I couldn’t be prouder to be who I am today witnessing 543 characters united in one picture just like the whole family. I love you man and a very happy 100th to Disney.
This is how you make the Disney Magic Work!
Mickey and Walt 🥹
It all started with a mouse.
I could rewatch this all the time.
The first thing Disney has put out in years that had heart
Most magical and perfect centenary possible! Lindo! 😢😭
3:14 Yes, that really was Robin Williams! But it wasn’t A.I.; it was unused audio from his Aladdin outtakes!
I was sooo happy to hear his voice again!! 🥹
4:31-4:35 That’s my girl!
The song at the end gave/gives me tears everytime
I'm so glad disney did this
Can't wait to see what they do for the 200th anniversary
4:31-4:35 Go, Rapunzel.
I wish we have a Mickey Mouse movie just like this
Happy 100th anniversary Disney thank you for making the world magical and thank you for staying with us the whole Disney world we love you Disney ❤❤🎉
That is so awesome of how they did this character crossover to make it come to real life.
I cried so much with happiness
I'm not crying; I just have pixie dust in my eye. Oh my gosh that was beautiful!
The second I saw Basil, Dawson and Olivia, as well as Ratigan, from the Great mouse detective I lost it. I love that movie so much, it's so underrated!! loved this so much😭
wwww
This puts the magic of Disney on full display
I like the review on this short. Trying to find the full version of this. Plus, I'm glad they used the version of Steamboat Bill from Steamboat Willie in the Disney Parks during the credit reels.

YES, YOU, DISNEY, truly love your children and characters, as well as yourself, believe in them all and always give children hope, love and fairy dust. You and your friends, 100 years have passed, they will always be in your heart.
I think I just heard Feed the Birds playing, it was Walt's favorite song.😊
oooooooo
This short was the BEST one that Walt Disney Animation Studios has ever done! It was so WELL DONE, I got a little emotional when Mickey was looking at the picture of Walt Disney.
this crossover is something we didn't want but needed
4:35 Thanks Raps!
A toast to 100 years of Disney! 🥂
This short film was a great way to celebrate 100 years of Disney. I loved that archive audio for characters such as Genie was used.❤✨💯

I saw this, and it was awesome. The Disney fans are going to be very happy about this.
i saw so many things from my child hood it was insane i want to re watch some of those movies they had everything
Best disney short ever😊😊😊
Disney has made some great stuff, some bad stuff, some stuff that shouldn't exist, and some that changed our childhoods. But in the end, they have still been alive even 100 years later. That ending song had me crying man
frrrr
Tarzan made a return after being absent since 2005

I may be almost 19 but I love Disney it's been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember
And me, I'm a almost 30 years old woman.
But as a french, I was a little disappointed by one point : in France, a lot of Disney characters (often several in one movie) were voiced by the same guy and his voice wasn't reused in the french version of that short.
That guy, Roger Carel, passed away three years ago and for the comparison, he was the french equivalent of Mel Blanc
This is a work of art from Disney I love it
fr!
I really love this short.
I am really happy I own that photo image. ^^
It is like 100 years of Magic
4:31-4:35 I love you, Rapunzel.
Aladar and his family are in the picture. That makes me happy

My most favourite part of once upon a studio was when Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps come out of the photo frame. I love Zootopia and I love nick Wilde and Judy Hopps the most and they’re like my favourite Disney characters. They’re like my heart I adore Nick and Judy.
Woody: Darn it I missed the group photo
Roger Rabbit: Looks like we’re late
Thanos: Shut up you rabbit
Death Vader: Why did we miss that god dang photo
Man: It’s because you are not from walt Disney animation studios
Homer Simpson: DOH!
This special made me cry.
This short film was perfection ❤.
I love how everyone was on equal footing, there wasn’t a lot of egregious favoritism
4:41 😢Walt Disney would be so pround ❤

God bless Disney.

They are the best characters that the Walt Disney Company has to offer.
I've liked it since I was a kid. So much my childhoods the movie seen looking for nemo
This short made me smile the whole way especially after seeing Jim and sisu

They did OUTSTANDING with the amount of Attention to Detail!
I wish Disney’s 100th anniversary would last forever
Can't believe Balck Cauldron was there

When Mickey Mouse call Walt Disney, his father
So many beautiful memeories, callbacks, references.
Man, I loved it. But I will say this.
Total missed opportunity for a great reference/in-joke. Had Ralph said: "Never better, Mortimer." That joke would've worked on so many levels.
Other than that. Absolutely beautiful.

I remember this program and it's on Disney plus but I love it. It's nice seeing Mickey and Minnie along with characters from the movies Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Moana, The Princess and the Frog, Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, Robin Hood and many more.
I have cried like 20 times watching the short.
awhhhhh
Where can i watch it?
❤
This is possibly the greatest short film I've seen in years. One thing is that I think that the filmmakers overlooked the characters from the "Adventures in Music" cartoons. Of course, I'm talking about Professor Owl, Bertie Birdbrain, and all the bird students that were also featured in Disney's Sing-Along Songs series. To me, that is quite a loss, especially since that video series introduced me to all of the studio's fantastic feature films, shorts, and TV shows, both either well-known or more obscure. Let's not forget the theme parks either, whose soundtracks have always been as infectious as the films themselves.
In spite of that, happy 100th anniversary to my favorite company of all time. As a real Disney fan, it has truly molded me to be the person that I am today. May you continue to make dreams come true.
I thought of the same thing. Along with Figment, Buzzy, and General Knowledge
I went to the disney animation studios in person because I'm in spring break but I went there for the first time and it's awesome
4:31-4:35 Go, Rapunzel!
fr!
Fact: Disney used an unused one of voice recordings of Robin Williams as the genie in this special.
4:31-4:35 That’s my girl.
