Yes, Flo, this was my first complete drawing in Procreate. It took me several incomplete efforts with 3 tries to get it done. This is not to say you didn't cover it well. Not at all. I had to practice some elements to get them to work right most every time. I did finish and was satisfied. While I didn't download your colors, choosing similar ones helped me to practice choosing and creating colors. I will probably build it again about 10 times to catch the "Why" you did something when you did it. Easy to follow. Thanks for setting this up to learn from. W

Being confused really messes with the creative flow lol Even though I understood (for the most part) what each tool and setting did in procreate, I couldn't figure out how to use them, or use them correctly. This was great! I have had procreate for awhile now, but got frustrated anytime I tried to use it. This went over a lot of the basic things I wanted to learn while actually letting me create.
This was an amazing entry into Procreate - can't wait to work through some of your other tutorials because the results on this one were beautiful! I went back over the "fog" portions with a mid-opacity cloud brush to give it some rainforest-y vapor cloud rise and it looks fantastic!

First digital art ever!! Ty so much. I had never touched an iPad until today it was a gift. And I never knew a thing about digital art existing until I started to watch UA-cam tutorials to learn to paint with watercolors a few months ago. My art turned out pretty well. You were very easy to follow .

This was great! I have had procreate for awhile now, but got frustrated anytime I tried to use it. This went over a lot of the basic things I wanted to learn while actually letting me create.
This was an amazing entry into Procreate - can't wait to work through some of your other tutorials because the results on this one were beautiful! I went back over the "fog" portions with a mid-opacity cloud brush to give it some rainforest-y vapor cloud rise and it looks fantastic!
Wow, this is my preferred way to learn, learning by doing. I understood a lot of tools by using them.
