Another cool video! I know you guys recommend your 485 cam paired with the 64mm throttle body for a 114 stage 2. I'm not clear watching from 3:20 - would you recommend the 64mm TB over the 55mm here regardless of cam choice (I mean sensible alternatives)?

@@shawn9878 I’m not sure if there are several, Aaron chose it and sent it. Bike is done and it rips really nice! That cam produces really nice roll-on power (or LET-IT-RIP POWER) on any gear to 6000+ rpms!
@@dextersuarez9948 It turned out nice, quick with good roll-on power. I haven’t ran into someone with a 131 or bigger that wants to rip so I can’t compare but it’s quick. Also have a stage 2 107 that was pulling away from when this 117 was stock, now I can pull away fairly easy. Close to 140 torque based on dyno.
There are zero videos out there with this configuration I’m on the fence about going with this build it would be nice to see a video on it I would like to hear what the loop sounds like on the cam

Have you had any experience with the 64/64 setup on woods 777 or 22x series cams. Positive or otherwise. It seems like you guys have put together a good package but I was hoping to see similar benefits without changing my cam again.
With the se 64mm throttle body a factory air filter won’t bolt up to the breather holes and throttle body right? Have to buy a se filter or something like that right?

It does. Running the exact same setup on my ST Stage 2. The bike loves the extra air trapping when combined with some good 6.2 GMR injectors, my F35A cam and a Stealth Turnout. 140/140 on the dyno
On your stage 2 with the 64 mm with a S&S 475?cam and 2 into 1 exhaust. What kind of numbers should you be getting? This is on a 114 M8. And would you recommend 5.5 injectors. If how much would this affect fuel mileage. Thanks Buck
You say later that you run the 64 with throttlebody on 128, but early on it's suggestive they can be run on stock displacement like a 107 or 114. Not exactly direct.

I have a 2022 114 SHS with a S&S 465 cam with the S&S throttle body. I the cam making 107 hp and 118 foot pounds of torque. I am looking for more mid to high with out giving up the low end torque. What would a 64mm throttle body kit do for me with this set up?
A lot of good info here. I went 122 Stage III on a ‘21 M8. It would have the 447 cam I think. Also went with the oil pump and cam plate upgrade and the Heavy Breather Extreme. The intake is currently factory. Is the 55 aluminium or even 64 / throttle body and injectors worth my while or am I just going to harm my torque?
You will definitely get what you pay for but it’s not cheap. From everything I’ve seen Moonshine kits are built to be as reliable as possible so you can ride it like a stock bike. If reliability wasn’t their biggest concern I bet they could get 200+ HP with out a power adder but it wouldn’t be something you could just ride anywhere any time.

Hello Moonshine Techs, I appreciate your overview on the intake manifold and throttle bodies for HD. I purchased a 2020 Breakout 114cu and had a SE Stage 3 installed. The HD technician at that time discouraged me not to include a 55mm or 64mm intake with my upgrade. However, after reviewing your video re: throttle bodies, I’d like reconsider my initial plan. Given what I currently have (stage 3), what intake & throttle body would you recommend I install?

We have not experienced lower end torque loss with running the 64mm on the set ups we explained. Our MHP-485 cam on a 107 and 114 benefits through the entire torque curve from the 64mm/64mm setup.

We have seen gain on our MHP-485 cam when paired with our CNC Ported 64mm Manifold. We would recommend a H-D stock 64mm manifold with the winglets inside or our MHP-F064 manifold.

Just depends on the build…we have a 128 and 131 that make 150 plus which has shown to be as reliable as some smaller builds. It depends on the cam and parts paired with the build.

You’ll gain both HP and Torque with our MHP-F064 Ported 66mm on your setup. You’ll also need a 64mm Throttle Body. Then you’ll have to re-tune.

We run the H-D 64mm manifold and throttle body. The vanes on the inside of H-D manifold help the air turn the corner.

Yes. But we would swap the RS468 for the MHP-485 if possible. You’ll have more gains across the whole curve.

It depends on the build we typically use 6.27-7.80 depending on cubes and cam.

I just don't know what a street bike or touring bike does reliably with 150+ hp.
