@@CookingKun I have the same problem. It's all soggy when fried. But yours puff up like keropok. I will try it tomorrow.
I'm also wondering if we can just dump the cheese in the oil, so that when cooked, the chips have the flavour inside. Well, actually, I'm not thinking of cheese. I'm thinking of other flavours like salt, paprika, black pepper, 5-spice, etc. Stuff that's too concentrated to just coat on the finished chips. Adding to the oil, we can measure it more exactly and it would evenly coat everything. Plus it doesn't need to be powdered.
