- This actually wasn't planned. It started out as a simple remaster of One, because I was planning on releasing some remastered And Justice For All tunes, but I decided to experiment and add the S&M vocals. It was turning out so well that I had to finish it and upload it for you all to hear. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Sorry about the lack of uploads, haven't had a lot of motivation lately, but I wanted to release something for you guys. Thanks for the support and sticking around with me. More to come soon!

WeeklyAudio Well you don't have to stop working on it. The Thing studio with S&M vocals is a little rough and it's not tuned down to the S&M tuning so it sounds a little weird. But you know what I've always wanted to see. Fuel with S&M vocals. This guy did it but it was executed very poorly. I think it's a difficult one to do since the S&M version is so much faster than the original. Or maybe even Bells with S&M vocals? That'd be cool. Can't tell you how much I love this though, it sounds incredible.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I looked up a few and most are a little rough, so I might just keep working on these. They are nearly as fun to make as the mashups, so if that's what you wanna hear, you got it man. I appreciate the support.

I don’t know why people rip on James vocals after black album. As he got older his distortion when from high to low end of his vocals. He never could never sing like 2:30 in the 80s. Sounds damn good

@Vortiac James' voice after black album has had good and bad years, and after a lot of listening, I think they are 96, 99, 2009, 2013, 2016-2019. The current era has his reconciling his singing voice with a more gritty sound and its actually great
I've always wished Metallica would re-release all their old stuff with current day sound. This is EXACTLY what the world needed!

His vocals were damaged by this point, but he was getting better at singing. I think if he kept up with lessons and training he wouldn't sound metal, but he'd sound a lot better than he does now.

No. It's pitch corrected. Every live album, has a post production process, where they add effects, where they make it nicer. But I think it was used very, very litle in this live abum, because James's voice was on it's second peak.

Dude, I listen to that song every day, at least 3 times. I know the difference between autotune and pitch correction. Pitch correction is bassically reverb plus tons of effects. Autotune has this plastic sound that sound awful most of the time. And even if there it is...so what? This is one of the best live albums ever, you can't denny it.
Okay hearing one in a lower pitch sounds amazing... If only the solo stayed the same. That would be amazing!

What software do you use for doing this kind of thing? Like isolating vocals and removing vocals?
You can't isolate vocals from a mastered track like this. He had to have gotten them from somewhere already isolated. As for software, any DAW is capable of this. If you ever wanted to try, I'd recommend Cockos Reaper because you can evaluate the software indefinitely. meaning they don't really make you pay. But a home license is $60 and worth every penny for someone who does these things regularly.
There is no software that contain perfectly isolated vocals without it sounding like complete shit, he got this from a UA-cam video. I'm thinking they may have pulled it from a 5.1 mix where the vocals are on a different channel, such as center
