I thought you could not order the 1.5in upgrade on a hard chrome gun? I thought that option was only available on blued guns?

I agree. I like when the grips and finish contrast. Like on blued 1911s I prefer ivory grips.

What's the deal with the magwell? Did you request work or did they contact you requesting the firearm back? I just placed an order for a Les Baer Ultimate Recon with Dupont S coating for $2900 but apparently my shipping date is Oct 2015 :-(
