you really want to play with the gas block here? a good option would be to leave the stock gasblock and go with an A5 buffer tube/receiver extension, Sprinco green spring, and A5H2 buffer. That will smooth out the classic DD gassing issues with suppression.

Accu-wedge or some lowers have a fitment adjustment screw in lower receiver near the grip can’t remember if DD has it but that’s another option both are great.

Once I receive it I am going to send it to ed brown for a flush reverse crown barrel, recessed slide stop, blended one piece magwell, and ambi safety to complete it. It's such a beautiful looking 1911!

Lol spend 2k on a premium weapon and replace all the parts. I understand the trigger and charging handle (most are milspec) but dang man. U could have bought a diamond back and saved a ton of cash and bought even more upgrades

imo the only thing that needs to be replaced on the ddm4 is the trigger and charging handle, replacing the pivot pins is a good touch if you plan on using more than one upper on a lower.

Rubber oring will fix the upper and lower form moveing it goes on the front of the upper where the pin goes through the hole on the upper at the front put a rubber oring around it u can buy them form the hardware store and lock it up she will be like a rock .

that play can be a result of changing the take down pins. my DDM4V7 is really tight fitting with no play, something to consider
