Felt compelled to give this a 👍 half way through the video. Love your passion and the way you express your love for this beautiful chicken. The simple things in life like a great chicken cooked well are often under appreciated and taken for granted.
Amen! Great video! All Glory to God! I love when your son said "smoke ring". Teaching them young, that's awesome! I just got my 1050 this weekend for my birthday and I'm definitely trying a whole chicken like you mentioned. I also use the Meat Church products. Great to see a man of God and talking about all his goodness! I too am in ministry, a youth pastor. Good luck on your future videos. Be Blessed! New subscriber!
So good to hear someone give God The Glory! So nice to hear especially with all that’s going on in the world today!! Thanks! I am a Kingsford guy up until I used B and B for the first time (orange bag) and wow a huge difference!.... seemed to burn much cleaner and definitely burned longer than KingsFord blue bag!
I just subscribed just because of the message here. God is great!!! By the way, Royal Oak lump charcoal works well as well. The only issue I have with lump is the ash it throws off. God bless my bro.
Have you seen the mod on the smoke port where you can adjust how much smoke can go out slot, if you keep open just about 5 inches a shoot of charcoal will last alot longer
Hey good video, when you used the B&B competition Char logs did you have any trouble with them hanging up in the hopper since they are so long ? i love them B&B competition Char-logs they last 2 to 3 times longer.i am having trouble finding them right now so i haven't been able to try them on my 560 yet.
Just bought one of these and just wondering any any smoke should be coming out the top of the hopper? I have a little smoke coming out couple of the corners.
Brother! Your opening clip shows a horrible amount of residue all over the top of the chute and the lid. It amazes me that someone as disciplined as you are would let your food be covered in that stuff! Please don't get me wrong here -- I'm not dissing you. I have, however, got a recommendation that might help you with cleaning out the chute, and then keeping it clean. Try getting a bag of Lazzari lump. A fellow brother discovered that when using it there were huge amounts of white smoke, and everything was covered in a dry white coating. After using it a bit, the copius amounts of white smoke started to get less and less, until the smoke practically disappeared. And, the black deposits inside the chute were gone! Cooking with wood and charcoal are always going to produce residue, and we want that! We just want a clean residue, not an obnoxiously gross coating over everything. I find it interesting that what many Masterbuilt users thought was blistering paint, turned out to be the dirty residue covering everything. Lazzari lump burns so clean that it scours all that crud away! As always, Jesus is Lord!
If you want an updated review: I would now go with B&B Charlogs. I just smoked a pork butt this weekend and refilled at 7 1/2 hours with a little still left in the hopper. They have lasted me longer than any briquettes. I was cooking at 275. If I were at 225 they get a little longer time. Kingsford is too much ash and they burn out between 5-6 hours. B&B lump are a step up, but do not last as long as the charlogs. I have heard that FoGo is comparable to the charlogs, but I have not wanted to drop the money on 1 bag of charcoal.
I am a minister at a local church too so I could do a whole sermon ha. I'll spare you that one, but thanks for watching. I did use a lot of Meat Church Voodoo and The Gospel All Purpose seasoning on the bird though.
"The purpose in life is to glorify God." Nice! I like the reviews on spices, looking forward to those.
Thanks bro

I got a 1050 from OfferUp brand new with two small dents for $50 less than a 560... yeah! I’m loving mine
That’s a great find!

Amen! Great message at the end!
1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
One of my life verses
Amen bro. The chief end of man is to know God and enjoy Him fully!

Try the Charlogs. They have been the best for me so far.

No I haven't, but I will look into it. Thanks!
Amen! Thanks for video and giving God recognition.
Thanks so much for watching!
Any thoughts on why I'm getting so much charcoal dust blown into the grill/smoking chamber?

No they have worked great for me. I have had no problems with them.
Amen brother
Thanks for the support.
Awesome video. Great message. New fan!
Thank you. Glad to have you!
Go Noles! If ya can't beat em, smoke some chicken!
6.42 smoke ring
train them early!
So by using the B&B lump charcoal how many times did you refill the hopper?
Once. But I have moved to the B&B Charlogs. I think they burn even longer and work great.
Just bought one of these and just wondering any any smoke should be coming out the top of the hopper? I have a little smoke coming out couple of the corners.
Seal it with foil paper
Foil at the top is the most popular solution I have seen.
Great video. Thanks for the info. Subscribed.
Thank you!
Brother!

Thanks for the advise and watching! I’ll look into Lazzari.
If you don’t do that simple mod to the charcoal holder... idk what you’re doing it’s the simplest thing I’m the world it’s not even a real “mod” to me
I have 0 mods currently. That is the only one I have considered really.
I thought this was a charcoal review......not even close.

Talking about god in a grill review? Too funny
LoL
Maybe a little less church talk...
