KAT lacks the discipline to be the #1 guy on the team. I remember being annoyed at one of his post-game interviews after a loss and he said his gameplan was to go home and drink some wine. Butler's called him out. Conley's alluded to his problems.
KAT is the reason Ant's time is being wasted in Minnesota.

Spot on, many in MN have known he’s not the guy for a long time. Biggest problem that basically guarantees the Gobert trade is the worst ever is that the CBA completely screwed the wolves finances from this trade after the trade happened and the wolves had no way to know that the rules of the game would change this drastically. I hate Tim Connelly for that move but he’s a great GM if that transaction is taken out. If he can figure out a way to get out of KAT’s contract even if he gets robbed the wolves can still build around ANT and Jaden McDaniels which is a better place than the wolves have been for the better part of the past 15 years

Commenting this before watching the video:
KAT is the most logical player to trade as they will not get the value they gave up for Rudy if they try trade him. KAT also doesn't have that Mamba/Butler/Jordan mentality for a playoff series, but he is not the issue with the Timberwolves. I also think that Rudy is bad for any locker room.
After watching the vid: Stand by what I said, KAT is worse defensively than I had given him credit for and hadn't been quite as efficient as I expected offensively either. Still a good player, don't think that he's the issue with the franchise, but still think he's the most logical trade candidate. He's someone that can't be your 1st or 2nd best player in a playoff series because of his mentality.
It all comes down to who they can get back for him

I was thinking why team kept pushing the ball to him and I think it's just a strategy to keep believing in team's leader, not sure if it was right strategy though. Too bad russel was traded, he made the team offensive machine. nonetheless Minnesota was really good team last season unfortunately some keys role players were missing in playoffs.

Does KAT have a no trade clause?, If not then they should trade him, maybe to the Blazers for their #3 pick and Anfernee + 1 or 2 bench players.
Wolves can built around Ant and Blazers would get a win-now player that would've made them instant contenders (and Dame would be very happy as well)

Its almost like handing young guys 200m dollars before they even prove anything in the league is a bad idea. It doesn't matter how he performs, he's made his money. That's the reality. There are players who will give 100% because they just love the game (Lebron, KD, Butler), but many are just glad they are good enough to be in the league and making millions.
KAT is laughing to the bank.

Anthony needs to be with a Franchise and on a team that plays in an uptempo offense playing in a half court offense with these 2 big's one who is an dud on offense and the other who has the talent but will stand on the outside shooting long twos & threes instead of going in the post and making it happen and sucks on defense

I disagree with a lot of this video personally, I understand your points and I do agree with KAT not showing up in the big moments and him being way to passive but as for the big picture I disagree with your take. I love Jimmy Butler and we can all agree that he is a killer and a fierce competitior but I don't understand this notion people have that because KAT couldn't get along with Jimmy that somehow means he's "soft". A lot of players/people wouldn't respond well to how Jimmy leads, it doesn't mean he's a bad leader but it's just not for everyone, we saw the exact same thing happen in philly pretty much where they decided he was too much for them to handle (I understand that philly may not be the best example considering all of their playoff failures but still). Another thing to consider is at the time KAT was only in his 3rd/4th year and up until that point was the star player for that franchise, not to use it as too much of an excuse but something to keep in mind. Last year we saw how successful KAT and the timberwolves were when they had a guy who's similar to Jimmy in a way in Pat Bev, of course some issues were still there and KAT at times was still way too passive but the idea that he doesn't respond well to/that he's too soft to have a tough leader, a no bullshit type of guy in the locker room I'm just not sure I can agree with.
As for whats going on right now as much as I don't think Rudy should get all the blame you have to imagine the difference that has made for the team especially from KATs perspective. You've basically forced him to play powerforward next to a 7 footer when he's spent his entire career playing center, on top of that he's been injured for most of the season so there has been very little time for him to actually get settled in that new position and to play with Rudy. It's not a surprise that he was getting exposed on defense against the nuggets, he is a 7 footer playing powerforward, he was never a good defender in the first place and you said it yourself Rudy was getting cooked as well, Denver are a phenomenal offensive team.
For me one of the things I actually respect about KAT is how willing he is to adapt in order to try to win. When Jimmy came he knew who the better player was and was willing to be the 2nd option despite being the former #1 pick and the future of the franchise, when Ant came into the league he quickly recognised the potential and again has shown to be willing to take a backseat and let Ant be that guy, with Rudy coming in he showed no complaints with playing powerforward to try and benefit the team. It might not always work out and again he has his issues, clearly he is too passive at times but he does try whatever he can to win.
Anyway long story short I think it's harsh to call KAT THE problem with Minnesota when we have seen them have success (specifically last season) with him as one of the main guys on the team and I do think he deserves the benefit of the doubt this year considering the adjustments having to be made to play with Rudy and to play in a completely different position. Of course he has his flaws and he is way too passive, maybe him and Rudy won't work because it's just not a good fit but I think the idea that you can't win with him and the narrative that he is soft is overblown.

Cant blame rudy at all . Hes a glorified role player. Hes there to play defense & rebound. Wolves stayed afloat all year because of rudy & ant while kat missed like 60 games . I think Jokic is the best players in the league right now. KAT did his best to defend him but for how fast he moves in the post that's not a easy task. KAT didn't do to good in the play offs. But it happens everyone has bad games. I thought he did really good in the regular season. Creating space for his teammates. Finding the open man. Shooting quality shots. The full starting line up didn't have too many games to play together do to injuries. I think if the team stops fighting amongst themselves and get to work improving there chemistry on the Cort we could have a really good team next year. Only time will tell but I have faith in my wolves

I completely agree. The wolves' problem isn't just Gobert. Maybe if KAT can help Gobert on defense and inside scoring. KAT has to go. At least you can still live with Gobert's defense as a Rim Protector. They need some outside shooting and players who can defend the perimeter to help Gobert in the defense and another big man to help Gobert defend the paint. At this point, this is Ant's team now.

You do a really good job, just thought that video was confusing.
