I dont agree about the power. I think batteries are great and realiable, especially if the electricity goes out. And, many can go solar forever. I also disagree about a spotlight. Its nice but not necessary. How about a siren instead. Sirens work in daytime & night, lights dont. Some cams even have tamper prevention sirens.

Absolutely no siren. Wake up the neighbors because a cat or a shadow activated it??? No way. I don't think you've dealt with a siren security camera. A spotlight is quiet.

@@wonderwhat4 My cams sirens only go off if someone tampers with them, so no issues sleeping at night.
