Thanks for another great video.
I LOVE my Xero Trail shoes so I’m not surprised you recommend their boots.
Thank You for watching. They are great shoes!
Great review! Just ordered mine!
Hope you enjoy it!
Fantastic review.
They have the Denver now on Black Friday sale for just $59.99, only a few sizes left but glad I could order a pair as I was convinced watching your video.
Also used your referral link hope it helps.
Thank you for watching and the support! I hope you like them.
The original Denver boots are great. Unfortunately, they recently changed them during their last sale. I ordered a second pair, but they altered the boots. The huarache inspired straps were simply missing, which changes the fit. They just aren't the same. I don't know why they chose to alter the boots. Hopefully they will bring the original boots back or do actual improvements to the boots.
There's a Denver model both with and without straps
What’s the better choice between these and the Wildlings Flying fox for cold weather? We don’t get much rain or snow in my area but temperatures drop down to the Low 30s on the coldest days.
I don’t do any trail hiking but I do live in a semi rural community with lots of unpaved roads with no sidewalks so I do walk over natural ground significantly more than somebody living in an urban environment, Mostly hard packed dirt and occasionally sand or gravel. These will be my first bare foot shoe so I’d like to buy something that’s gonna last me the entire season considering it’ll cost me more than what I usually pay for my shoes.
Just discovered your channel.
Great info. Well produced. Intelligent - no
silly-talk gibber gabber banter.
Recently told I should get shoes with a rigid heel, unbendable sole!
Yikes!
I want to train for a Camino Santiago.
Can you offer a Shoe recommendation?
Thanks.
Thank you so much! Take a look at the Xero Mesatrail.. their outersoles have 5000mile warranty.
I have a pair of these and am messing around with the lace tension. It looks like you have them pretty loosely tied. I’ve tried cinching up tight but that seems to restrict foot movement while walking. What was your take?
I haven't cinched them very tight, I like to keep the collar free from the ankle.
FANTASTIC CHANNEL, SIR 👍...SUBSCRIBED...
Thank you!
Would these be good for work? I have had Vivo's for years so my feet are strong. Just curious on the temperatures and grip. Good vid!
Yes, as long as you don't require steel toed boots.
The flannel lining is very warm and should be good for "just below freezing" weather.
💯🌟🙌🏻
have a question. I have been using barefoot shoes for six months from different companies. I really enjoy the comfort and the idea of zero shoes. I bought xero shoes a few days ago and after a day I felt pain in my heel. I don't understand why... I said maybe the laces should be tied tighter... but I see you say you don't have to... do you have an idea?
That is a common issue, when transitioning...
Please watch this playlist, it will show how to transition:

Great vid. I can’t wait to get Xero shoes. All I have is 30 dollar shoes. Yet here in Germany the weather is changing too bad times are tough or I’d get the Denvers
While I appreciate the $30 barefoot shoes, I couldn't find a barefoot boot in that range..
Xero has a winter boot for more severe weather, But my climate is too mild for them.
@@GrownandHealthy I have been a Merrell guy for almost 10 years I’m switching over. I have snow boots from Merrell Norse Hund just for bad stuff. I need something for in between. Hopefully soon I can get me a pair.
Are these good to wear in the summer months?
No, they have insulation.
Would I be able to use this for wrestling ?? I want to find wide toe box high top barefoot shoes that can be used for wrestling/athletic stuff
I wouldn't... Try the Asics Snapdown, they come in wide sizes.
@@GrownandHealthy I saw your review on the snap down 3s and I’m gonna be buying them in EE! Thank you so much! 💪🏽
What's the traction like on wet ground? Are you able to be honest?
It is good on wet surfaces... why wouldn't I be.. They provided a shoe for me to review, not endorse.
@@GrownandHealthy I found the Prio sole slippery on wet ground otherwise a great dry weather shoe. A sole which lasts 5,000 miles is unlikely to be very tacky or it'll wear down quicker. You didn't mention the grip which I found odd so didn't really seem like a genuine review.
@@christianlangfield9303I can't speak for the prio..but the Speedforce (which I bought and reviewed) had good grip and so do the Denver.
The depth of the tread is much deeper, than my other barefoot shoes and provides firm footing.
@@GrownandHealthy I think he meant honest with your footing....
@Andy Thanks Andy. It annoys me how people get free shoes from Xero and then don't say anything critical about them, it's dishonesty and misleading.
this guy has a trustworthy face.
Thank you!
Xero shoes the fit is off for me, it take a long time for customer service process my order, can't wait to have my money back, they gave a sale and now it takes 2 weeks to return email or phone call...so 2 weeks to get the shoes since they send it and now 2 weeks waiting to return them plus the shipping played 14 dollars shipping and now return shipping who know how much it will cost? i Learned a huge lesson never order from them!!!
