Someone convince Jocko to make some Origin Boots with a wide toe box! Would love a pair of oxblood of such a boot. Wear them as dress shoes with a suit.
Good idea, Keith. You should reach out to them.

@@CoachHelder I have no pull. People who commonly review products and give recommendations seem to. Similar to the impact Coop at Garage Gym Reviews has on fitness companies and the products they make.
If a were a person like that then my teaching out would be worthwhile. The kind of thing that establishes a relationship. Maybe someday.
Keep me posted, Keith. If you start a channel, I will subscribe. 🍻

@@CoachHelder I'm looking into doing BJJ hear reviews on a separate channel. Very few good gi reviews. Origin makes gis so over time I might get Jocko's attention. Appreciate the vote of confidence.
As long as you enjoy the process, why not?
I started doing these reviews for my members years ago. I'd buy a new ruck or pair of shoes. I would get asked my thoughts and instead of answering everyone individually, I'd make a UA-cam video.
From there, vendors would see my reviews and contact me to see if I wanted to review their gear. Then all of a sudden, it became a 'thing.'
The most crucial aspect, my opinion only, is being honest. People can smell the bullshit from miles away. The ones that cannot, well... they will eventually.
Companies will try and throw extra products, money, whatever your way for positive reviews. My policy from day 1 was to only review gear that I felt was good to go. Why the hell invest so many hours of my time to speak about a product or service that I think is shit? It would be a waste of time for me and my subscribers. But everyone has their niche.
Pick a subject, like BJJ, that you love. Then this actually becomes fun as well as useful to those with the same interest. If it's fun... then free products and and affiliate commissions are just icing on the cake. Be true to you and to your audience, regardless of the size. Speak to the individual not to a group. Make it personal because it really is. People are trusting you and it becomes a responsibility.
But if you love what you do... It really isn't work. Cliche', I know, but doesn't make it any less true.
I also have a crypto and IT (another big interest on mine) channel on UA-cam located here: youtube.com/@NTCreviews
Just do it! 🍻

They are a very good option for the fall.
Are the leather version warmer than the originals?
