You're acting like that Inter team were a Sunday league team. In reality, they had won Serie A five times in a row, with players like Samuel Eto'o, Diego Milito, Wesley Sneijder, Zanetti, Maicon, Lucio. That was an incredibly strong team and one of the strongest in the CL that year.

He doesn't need to prove the doughters anything. He won back to back European titles with FC Porto. He won The Europa League in 2003 with FC Porto and won The Champions League a year later with them. That for me is enough to prove himself to the doughters/haters. He also ended a 50 year league title wait for Chelsea and he ended a 42 year Champions League title wait for Inter. If that doesn't prove the doughters that he is one of the greatest then I don't know what will.

In this interview he was the best in the world, i was his #1 fan but i'm not emotionally blinded to be not be able to realise that he's done now. Just like Wenger post 2006, finished. Mourinho 2001-2011 was a great run, but Madrid destroyed him. Never been the same since, although he still won the PL in 14/15, he was finished. So that's testament he did that as its all been unsurprisingly downhill ever since.

Looking back, yes he won La Liga with Madrid, another Premier League with Chelsea and a Europa League with Man United but I kinda think leaving Inter was the biggest mistake of his career. With each job after that he lost more and more of that spark. Honestly I think it was the Real Madrid job that killed him. The politics and ego at that club are insane and I think that's where the bitterness really started to set in. Even though he won the league upon his return to Chelsea is wasn't the same. It was like getting back with an ex wife....it's just not the same.
