Under two million for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath? Let me get out my checkbook...... Prices in NYC are ridiculous, but apparently there are enough new millionaires to pay that kind of money. Eventually the city will be covered by a shining array of luxury residences, and beneath them a warren of little cave dwellings for the rest of us. No middle-income units, because there will be no middle-income people.
This is happening by design. If you look at all the new construction in Greenpoint, only luxury buildings are being built, no new versions of the existing organic housing are being replicated, The city is only for migrants and millionaires now with the latter to serve the gig economy for the former.
Not true. There are beautiful neighborhoods with spacious apartments, and some only 30 mins or less from midtown. But yes, a lot of developers are greedy, and build space challenged apartments.

It sounds like the bottom 2 units will have the most useable outdoor space of all the units & the most private. Do those windows even open? Even an ugly building in the ghetto is worth a Million in nyc. Everyone knew a Millionaire lives there. Brooklyn has gone insane. Cost more than upper Manhattan these days....
I love all the no cash signs. Free workout every time you run from a mugger!
I was super distracted during this video because I am still thinking about Roy in King Manor
How many basements flooded during the other days rain? Park a Harley by the dining room table
Too bad you can’t live comfortably like this as a non millionaire in NYC
The suburbs exist. Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, and Bergen counties exist. Plus, as a bonus, you don’t have to pay the city income tax.
Really lovely! Roomy, bright, fabulous bedrooms and baths, living room has lots of room to live in. If only the kitchen had a pullout drawer for my dog's bowl, I'd be snapping that baby up before you could say "two mil for a two bedroom is obscene." The market may support it, but how do working families manage to house themselves these days? But - yes. It really is a nice apartment Cash. With your work ethic I hope you'll be able to have a back yard for your little girls to play in some day.
They're doing a lot of warehouses like that old factory places that turning me into condominiums as well, but you have to bankrupt and afford it. It's kind of funny because I have plenty of empty buildings that can turn into homes for the homeless and for poor people, and I'm doing that, and you've got no money, they're not building for you. It's about profit and capitalism. This is why I live alternatively.
This is Gonna b so Insightful CJ🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Tuesday😀….
The car kind of gives it away😂
I live in SC. What you could get for 2 million is a beachfront house. It is definitely nice for NYC.
To think that last Friday there were no trains, no buses or no ferries running in Williamsburg for hours due to the flooding. Things become ultimately worthless…
I thought it was illegal not to accept legal tender (cash).
My bedroom in Brooklyn is nearly double the size of that bed room and that’s expensive??
It's perfect. Beautiful! 😍
Really good design choices here in a great neighborhood!
There goes the neighborhood. It might raise the taxes in the area rental might go up. Mister Rogers neighborhood now has millionaires next door
This is why I prefer to look at places that agents staged. It’s makes me lol that ppl can’t visualize how to furniture a place without being shown.
Get the same apartment in Chicago for 750-800k plus a underground heated parking space. Chicago is way cleaner and better food…
As serious as i be sitting on the subway the intro always make me laugh😂
Doesn’t make sense to pay that price and have your neighbors house look like that.
Yeah, that space in the winter will be fun heating up.
Also, $1.8 million for 1200 square feet. Just crazy.
I see that gentrification continues unchecked in another poor looking neighbourhood. @3:53, wtaf? Okay, I'm out.
Looks like many of the hoods I’ve seen on this show…
@@MadAudi: I walked the entire length of Skillman Avenue on google streetview. None of it is pretty.
All jokes aside, didn't NYC make it illegal not to accept Cash...money?
Dang, this is Williamsburg? How big is Williamsburg? I thought it would look nicer than this.
Off topic, I'm sorry but Sal's pizza on Lormier st is the best pizzeria around period. Moe's doest have that buttery crust like Sal's. I mean Moe is cute and all, but Sal's been delicious since 1995 when I had my 1st slice from them. As a native Brooklynite I tell you no lie......
this is the dumbest thing with "nyc pizza". there is no best, they all use the same crap ingredients and overprocessed crap. Barely can tell a difference and its become like some pop buzz thing to say "GINO PIZZA in my little area of brooklyn is the best."
@@ImmortalDraylo I said what I said you don't like it. Middle fingers up because I don't care.
I’m interested in who made the kitchen cabinets. He said they were made in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Let me know please.
Not all "warehouses" are as nice as this one but this is a new build
I miss this type of videos
Great videos! What kind of camera are you using to film content?
Cash is Iike a cute little puppy scampering around New York and giving us previews of where the wealthy reside. No mystery as to why the middle class is moving out of NYC.
No parking? Half a block from the Brookyn-Queens Expressway (I278) so possible highway noise. $1.8 mil? How many units, 4? I'd be curious to know the profit margins. Lot cost, new construction cost versus $1.8 million per unit.
I keep hearing "vented washer and dryer". Are there non-vented washer and dryers? Like, where the dryer vents all of the hot air into the apartment?
Very stylish, attractive place but an awful lot of money for what it is but what do I know out in the stix in UK?🤷♀️Noticed that pull-out freezers seem to be a thing in the States? We don’t have them here I think. Just fridge freezers in a kitchen and chest freezers in the garage.
Is that legal to not accept cash? That doesn't sound right?
It isn't right. They have to accept cash or have a machine that converts cash to a paycard at no cost. Surprisingly, it's a fairly new law. It was only as late as 2020 that New York state made it illegal to not accept cash as payment.
Love this! ❤
That's okay, my beauty regime happens at home for free. I been thinking about that line for at least an hour. Watching from Oakland, Ca for years..
:04 he missed a belt loop... I'm bothered LOL
