I didn't see you use the Neutralizer in this video that comes in the box. Do you use it? If so, when? After application do you have to buff or file the nails before applying gel polish? How about cleaning the nails after application before polish? I applied my first set of Xtens this week and 2 days after application 4 popped off :( I prepped "normally." Idk what happened! Please help; Thank you!

      1. Dry Manicure
      2. File over natural nail w/ 180g
      3. Neutralizer
      4. Apply w/gel (flash cure & full cure)
      5. Buff the surface before applying your next product
If your nails are still popping off, before applying your tips clean them w/ acetone on the underside.
      Keep me posted.

So are they plastic tips or tips made of gel?

I am soooo glad you asked this question.
SO... calling the tip “soft gel” vs plastic, is almost a fraud statement.
Gel is plastic, plastic is made of acrylic components.
Every nail product I know, except Bio Sculpture Gel (I have a video on it in my “Reviews” Library), has acrylic ingredients to it, making them “plastic”. Gels whether soft or hard, ARE plastic. The “soft gel plastic” soaks off, the “hard gel plastic” does not.
But think about it... when have you ever applied a plastic tip to the natural nail, that did not soak off? I have not known of one yet.
So all tips, whether full coverage or just enough to extend, are SOFT GEL... AND wait for it... PLASTIC. No such thing as plastic vs soft gel tip.
Now the manufacturer may be meaning to say they use the same “soft gel” to create their tips, but they are still soft gel plastic tips.
The tip we attach to nails for “acrylic” nail applications and all other tip & overlay application is soft gel plastic. It is soft gel because it soaks off.
Acrylic components are found in just about every nail product as acrylates or ending as a suffix -acrylate. (Even Gel Polish, and Regular Polish)
Hope this helps. I am definitely not a chemist, but this is what I have known and been taught for years.
You can absolutely call them soft gel tips or plastic tips. Just keep this info on file. :)

Nail'd It at the Casino From Apres:
“... tips are made of a component found in soft gel meaning they are more flexible and stronger than regular ABS plastic tips! ... “
