I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story. Parents and siblings' family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.

To be honest, i never truly believed in soul mates until I fell in love with my best friend. The timing has just been bad for us. For the last 3-4 years, I've been making sure my life is moving in a direction that will help me improve in areas I am lacking, so I can be better to and for her. Things are not always what they are, I once had my love, she was my life. My friend Ace is my soulmate but I have a partner. I've known Ace for years and I've always felt this extremely strong pull to them. A strong connection but idk if he feels the same. It's not even romantic or shrexual. It's platonic. I don't want to kiss him or be with him, I just like being around him. I love hanging out with him but we're so different in some ways I don't know if he feels the same and it kind of stings. I could relate to all these points. But my situation is so complicated. She is with someone else, but she has expressed her feelings for me a number of times, but she doesn't want to leave the other guy. The worst part is that me and all our common friends can very evidently see that she's really into me, but she just seems to be forcing herself out of this. She's too sensitive to leave anyone without any fault of theirs. But the connection and the immense love that's there between me and her is extraordinary. The whole situation has made me so vulnerable and depressed. I feel so sad every single day. All I know is that I love her with all my heart and she too has intense feelings for me. I don't know why I'm writing all of this, but I guess I just wanted to let it all out somehow. My depression has several other reasons as well, but this has been affecting me the most, probably.

No one is going to be perfect for you, and i think we need to stop raising everyone on the belief that someone out there, just one other person in the whole world, was “made for you” because it isn’t true. I hope you hang on as long as you reasonably can. Know that you’re worthy to fight for happiness and that you do deserve to have it. Some of us beg for death, and it doesn’t come for us. Maybe that’s a sign that there is always hope, no matter how minuscule. Maybe I’m lost, but you can hold on to the hope lingering in your heart.

I met my soulmates on a TikTok fyp to a tiktoker’s discord server. It’s incredible how committed we are. It’s so hard to find “the ones” on the internet. We’re long distance and yet we’ve still been together over a year. Long distance is possible. We had big arguments but we all overcame them. I love them so much.

I met my soulmate here on UA-cam! He made a comment on one of my videos while I was still engaged to my conniving ex. After my ex cheated on me, God led me to email my platonic friend who commented on my video. Long story short, we hit it off immdiately and he was surprisingly the SAME AGE as me. Proof that coincidences do NOT exist. We have so much in common and the craziest thing about it all is that we both belong to different races and I'm American while he's Australian. We share the exact same views, beliefs, religion, interests, *everything*. Not to mention how we both starting seeing random signs. For example, he would see my name everywhere on street signs, soap bottles, food, etc. We talk to each other for hours on Discord and we're planning on meeting in person someday, hopefully sooner than letter. Things are not always what they are, I once had my love, she was my life. Without her, I couldn't even think about breathing, but in some last months she insulted me and destroyed me, and left after trashing my whole love, respect, and self-respect, everything became vulnerable. When we met and when I finally got close to him and been is his arms, I felt like I was made to be right ther, and he was made to welcome me in his arms, like I was the missing piece for his puzzle. And most importantly, he made me talk, whereas I have always been the listener with people. He insisted that I talked to him, and made me reveal the most hurtful experiences I had in my life. Like he was eager to listen to me. I felt wonderful. Now he lives in Paris and I am still in Toulouse (south of France), but I know we will spend time together when we can. I did encounter my soul mate recently but the timing was mismatch but let me share my experience
1. For the first time in my life I saw Orion belt and what's more magical was the movie I was watching at that time showed orion belt too
2.I dreamt of my person before we met
3.I believe in astrology so my tarot told me about my person like some months ahead
4.I didn't want nobody to come into my life and that's when we met
5.We felt instant connection and open up the day we started talking (which was our first time to do those)
6.when we met we felt serendipity and felt so comfortable as if we have been seeing each other for the long time
7.we both have been seeing synchronised number especially 11:11
8.My person was not at all my type and vice versa
9.The connection was too strong especially emotional connection and we both had same life experiences
10.we cross path some years back in social media group and we have been in places one after the other ( eg- before we met my person lived in North and later I lived there and moved to South then I too same)

My friend Ace is my soulmate but I have a partner.
I've known Ace for years and I've always felt this extremely strong pull to them. A strong connection but idk if he feels the same. It's not even romantic or shrexual. It's platonic. I don't want to kiss him or be with him, I just like being around him. I love hanging out with him but we're so different in some ways I don't know if he feels the same and it kind of stings. I'll watch him some days walk to his next class and I find myself stopping and just staring. Sometimes wanting to run to him and just walk and talk with him. Just to be in his presence. We've been trying to hang out for months but his mom is super abusive and doesn't let him hang out with friends for more than one day a week. And yet even after we've drifted apart a little bit I still feel this insanely strong pull to him. I want to do everything I can for him. To make him happy. He really struggles with his mental health and I used to but not nearly as bad. He has it horribly worse than me and I think that's kind of why we've sort of drifted apart. I've healed most of my trauma and he's still stuck. It's sad and it makes my heart ache to think about. I remember I didn't know how to express or understand how I felt so I became a textbook yandere towards him lol. Except I wouldn't kill anybody but I would threaten to hurt them. Yeahhh it was bad 😅 thankfully I'm fine now and I don't do that lol but still. I feel bad I don't feel this way about my girlfriend, even though I still feel a pull to her it's not nearly as strong. I've never felt the pull I feel with Ace with anyone else. Not nearly as strong as least. Idk. I'd be surprised if someone read this lol but I'm just kind of venting. I've told my girlfriend about how I was a "yandere" and she got upset I wasn't that way with her and I can honestly understand. It kinda sucks I don't feel this way with my girlfriend and instead with a friend that sadly doesn't seem as close anymore. I genuinely believed and have believed for a long time that he's my platonic soulmate. And I think I might have found my romantic soulmate too. My current partner. I'm going to ask Ace to be my best man at my wedding. I really really *really* hope he lives that long...

My friend is doing really well! Mentally and physically:) And I confessed all this to him a few weeks ago ((I couldn't find the comment to update this)) and he agreed! He felt the same way. It was a huge weight off my shoulders. And we haven't drifted apart nearly as much as I thought:)

I could relate to all these points. But my situation is so complicated. She is with someone else, but she has expressed her feelings for me a number of times, but she doesn't want to leave the other guy. The worst part is that me and all our common friends can very evidently see that she's really into me, but she just seems to be forcing herself out of this. She's too sensitive to leave anyone without any fault of theirs. But the connection and the immense love that's there between me and her is extraordinary. The whole situation has made me so vulnerable and depressed. I feel so sad every single day. All I know is that I love her with all my heart and she too has intense feelings for me. I don't know why I'm writing all of this, but I guess I just wanted to let it all out somehow.
