- FIRST LOOK: The LX 600 is the largest SUV in the Lexus lineup for 2024. On the outside you will find a unique color, LED lighting, off-road wheels and tires. On the inside you will be greeted by a black leather interior with seating for 7 adults. Under the hood is a 3.5L twin0turbo V6 pumping out 409HP & mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. I agree about the panoramic sunroof being an option - but if you are equipping with that low profile roof platform system, it really wouldn’t be worth it on the build. Depends on how you want to use the vehicle. Great review as always!

I'm wondering if they fixed their defective disk rotors that warp? Both my GX's and both my LX'S have warped their rotors causing me to have them spun at my expense.
Is there footage of the trunk and cargo space?
Not much on the green, but I love the wheel and tire package. Is that available through Lexus I wonder. The LX has compromises because of some of its other capabilities. With that said, fit finish and overall quality are outstanding. The twin turbo is excellent.
Quality has always been top with them and they nailed that great job. But in my opinion I think they need to add performance line on more of their vehicles especially being here in USA where we like the performance in our vehicles..

While the LX600 is a nice SUV, It lacks the luxury touch especially with the Dash and interior dash layout. It should be cleaner and flow simpler like those in this category. Panoramic roof and a bit longer leg room in the rear 3 row would be the final touch.

No Joe, we aren’t over the fact there isn’t a V8 under the bonnet.
Lexus is the easy choice. The one thing it has that none of its competitors have is basic ol’ reliability. In fact, that’s usually the compromise you make buying an Audi, Infiniti, Caddy etc. you’re normally trading dependably from luxury. Creature comforts don’t mean anything if you can’t even take the thing on a road trip without risking it leaving you stranded somewhere, hopefully not in the middle of nowhere. That’s where Lexus is amazing. Not only is it posh, but Lexus is continually ranked in the top three (sometimes even number one) most reliable and longest lasting manufacturers. If you’re looking to blow this kind of coin on a vehicle of this type, buy the one you can drive from one end of the country to the other without worry.

Not for me. Except for a few upgrades it’s just a TOYOTA. I agree with your zonks, here are some more: those door panels do not offer much ingenuity for usefulness. The seats do not look comfortable. I am not a fan of Toyo tires, not much traction in the snow. For the price it better ride like a dream. Those monster size grills are not appealing. Let’s compare features and ride with the Wagoneer or even the Grand Cherokee. Good review Joe.

Alot people have deep pockets who dont like lexus & quality alot people dont want a car for more than 4 or 5 yrs bec they want to drive whats in deep pockets LX 570 or 600 is my dream car alot people would prefer to get a BMW or BENZ for that price tag lexus sells bmw or benz wont last & if yr choice to shell out a 75k every 4 to 5 yrs is yr choice go head
Joe, those V6's are starting to spin Cam or Crank bearings and seize up pretty frequently... Maybe they are isolated incidents, but they are starting to pile up. it will be interesting to see how those play out. As of today, May 22, 2023, they range from $93,000 to $135,000 for the "Ultra Luxury" model... I'm sorry but that is just plain nuts. For comparison, a 2025 BMW X5M Competition is $125,000
the double screen center console is terrible, just give us the lc300
I usually agree with most of your zonks, but I respectfully disagree with the zonking of the sunroof. Not everyone wants or likes a panoramic sunroof. My daily driver is equipped with a regular sized glass sunroof that I seldom open, especially in the daytime since I reside in the desert southwest. The lack of a panoramic sunroof availability would never deter me from buying or leasing a vehicle, especially one such as spectacular as this one.
Lexus LX will NEVER be able to compete against the likes of escalade, Navigators, etc because it does not take into American market into account. American LOVE their 3rd seat room with trunk space. LX need 1/3 more length to compete with Navigator and escalades.

I highly doubt you will get in one under $100k. Probably more like $125k+. If you don't need 3rd row then ok. My main zonk is the ipad stuck on top of the dash instead of integrated like most others in that price range.
LX 600 are selling under MSRP nationwide currently, it just won't sell.
We can all stop talking about the new GX now.
Lexus did a great job with the design of the LX 600, but I would never buy one with this color. Interior looks good though.

Third row still cramped? Therefore, it can’t compete with a TRUE full size SUV with a full size third row like the Suburban. I think the Tundra platform is the issue. But what do I know. Just my 2 cents.

Warning!!! Don’t buy any new Lexus with the Mark levinson sound system!!! Lexus put in a fuse cutoff to protect their known blown speakers!! Call the manufacturer first and ask them about it first before you buy!!!

The lx is not the king because it has no cargo in the cargo area I like the lx but I wouldn’t buy it because it has no third row room and no cargo room so it’s no for me and it doesn’t have a v8 nothing sounds better than that v8 growl I’m sorry nice suv though

2 Krispy Kreme's only + coffee & a misbehaving kid on top; was expecting at least a dozen Twinkies; that's a unique color wrap; own a '14 LX 570 and it's a great vehicle despite the gas mileage. would like to test drive a new LX600 though.

Looks like the F Sport? I do like the wrap, but I can't wrap my head around the price tag which will be in the neighborhood of 110,000 to 113,000! That's if the dealers don't jack the price up by 10,000 or more like my local dealer is doing on their vehicles.

I am disappointed in the new Lexus designs. Certainly no longer marketing to their loyal customers. I was looking forward to trading my 2016 GX 460 when the new body styles hit. Now I’m looking at other makes.
