Man. I’m really wanting a ford raptor. 2014 version . Cause I only have a few grand . I’ve had a 2000 Honda Accord and now I’m looking at a truck. So maybe a F-150 to look like a raptor
America is a continent. However the numbers, still including every county in (North) America combined, the Ford F Series truck is still the best seller. Close to 1 million units a year on average alone in the US, another 150k in Canada, and Tens of Thousands in Mexico/Middle America as the Lobo. 👍
I have two f150's, 1997 & 2019. While installing a Roush CAI on the 19, it was still running when I popped the hood, I was surprised to see a "Hood Ajar" indication. With that said, WTF can't they put a "Tail Gate Ajar" or "Tail Gate Down" indication. I have tonneau covers on both and on more than a few occasions I left "contents" on the ground. I figure since they spent the time to let me know what's going on in front of me, how about letting me know what I can't see. Also, luv my engine compartment light on my 97.
That would be a great addition! Ford has a reminder beep now to check for rear occupants, a tail gate ajar notification should be on their radar. Good thinking!
This video is for the F-150. The F-450 is a Superduty Truck and a different model. As you say used I am not sure which year model you are referring to point you in the right direction.
@@RichmondFordLincoln I understand that they are different models. This helps me with better with the trim level in comparison. There's really no side by side with all the trim levels.
FX4 is an add on package to a 4x4 that adds extra underbody protection (skid plates), a locking rear axle, Hill Decent Control, and Off-Road tuned shocks.
Only the higher trim XLT the 302a package comes with the SYNC 3 Infotainment as standard. If you don't have the 302a package this is why it was not optioned.

Thank you so much for the kind words! The Super Duty trucks F-250, F-350, and F-450 have XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims. You can also get the STX package on the XL. So very similar. There just isn't a factory-matched Raptor trim in the Super Duty line. Most of the trim differences between the F-150/F-250 will be similar although with the Super Duty you get a few more items pertaining to work like upfitter switches, more tow package options, and so forth.

Yes. All Lariats come with remote start. Lariat's also carry the embedded modem that allows you to connect to your truck through the Ford Pass app and you can schedule a remote start at any time you wish.

Thanks for watching! The Raptor is an excellent vehicle but agreed can get expensive. If you are in the market for a new F-150 2023+ there is a new XL trim package called the Rattler Package that is off-road focused. It features larger all-terrain tires, fox off-road suspension, skid plates, and off-road terrain modes. This would be an excellent option for hunting and camping at a much lower price. However, with our in-house customs department, we can add wheels/tires/lift kits to any trim F-150 to meet your needs!
The XL, XLT, and Lariat have this option. Usually you will find this standard in the lower trims and it's a rarity on the Lariat which is usually special ordered that way.
The FX4 has not been a lone standing trim level since 2014. The model years covered in this video are 2015-2020 where FX4 was and continues to be an add on package across many trims. 2021+ has an off-road tailored trim called the Tremor.
Roush and Shelby take an XLT or Lariat trim and add their own custom parts to create their versions of the F-150. While we are a Roush and Shelby dealer we did not include them in the video because they are not official F-150 trims from the factory. I have a 2018 xlt but i have no infotainment. Im fine with that, but its kinda strange.

I got a 2014 3.5 Ecoboost and I have zero issues with it and it's got a bunch of bolt ONS.
What if your F-150 truck doesn't have any "Trim" around the edges it's a 2005 model
2005 models were XL, XLT, STX, Lariat, King Ranch and FX4. If you don't see any badging you most likely have an XL.

Everyone should be satisfied with a Lariat or King ranch but then again you want the best of the best either a Premium or a Raptor
