I know; I figured I would change it up! I shaved for 3/4 of my life, but I am unsure which is more accessible. I think shaving is. Have to use beard stuff and comb it. More work. Lol, BTW, thanks for the comment!
I just upgraded my nephews HP victus. Again lol. It originally came in with a ryzen 5600g and rx 6400. His first upgrade was 16 gigs 3600ram, and 6650xt, and 500w supply. And now I upgraded him to a ryzen 5700g and a 4060ti 16gigs, same PC three birthday upgrades, although the GPU is kinda a side grade, but definitely more "future proof".
@@MrSamadolfo Well I did update the bios and made sure to keep a 65w CPU in there. I also removed the bios battery before installing it for a solid 15 minutes and held the power button to drain the caps as I read somewhere that it helped. It did "restart"to the splash screen several times before loading up. Almost like it was relearning the memory or boot cycling. Also after inspecting his system I noticed that even though I got him 3600 ram it is running at 3200 and won't go higher. I am going to leave it, as it was on sale when I got it and have no use for it.
🙂 yes i have noticed the same, if your pc case is really short there seems to be more available short cards from invidia, its strange but some odd reason radeon cards are built a little bit more longer
@@MrSamadolfo 6600xt was actually very compact. Issue is rdna 3 is not that efficient. Nvidia dialed in on efficiency this gen while the 30 series was not. 4070 got a lot of flak for not being as much of a performance jump as some hoped but the efficiency and makes up for it and makes it viable for smaller builds
hey bro I was wondering if you could do an update to your cooling upgrade for the hp victus 15L. The one you suggested isn't available on Amazon anymore and the other websites say delivery would take a month. Recently tried to buy a different one but it was too big. what other coolers do you recommend for the victus 15L, that would fit?? Thanks in advanced.
🙂 you dont have any Radeon cards? cause I noticed that sometimes u can't see the BIOS screen on some radeon cards with some motherboards. Preferably I would lean to the prebuilts that are compatible with both invidia and radeon. Thanks for the upgrade videos.
Is it worth attempting the upgrades to the Acer N50 as you've done here if I've had it operating for a few years already? Or is it better to go for a fresh build?
Hello , I have acer nitro n50 640 with rtx 4060 ti 16 gb dual fan, 32 gb ram dual Chanel( it works great ), I want to upgrade to rtx 4070 SUPER dual fan. will 500 w be able to to handle it 1440p. Gaming max settings. ? Thanks waiting for response
I'm also interested in this, more to do with the pin connections? Is the RTX 4070 Super dual compatible or does it need different pin heads from the PSU? Anyone tried it?
Hey mate I have a question: I have the acer Nitro 50 N50-620 With an 1660 Super and an i5 11400f. I want to switch to an 3070 founders Edition. Would the power supply (500W) be enough?
I use this pc to record my onscreen, and it rock with the 4070 no problems fast encoding. So, most video applications, editing, and recording software make use of the CPU & Gpu than games do. I can max the gpu and cpu out no problem.
hi, I'm planning to upgrade my nitro 50-640 from it's stock 3060 to a 4070. you think it will be compatible with my current power supply, motherboard and the other componets? thanks.
@@TNW1337 Crazy how you are doing all this with a 500w power supply! I have the N50-640-UR11 model. I was thinking a 3060 would be perfect along with another 8GB of memory. Potentially an upgrade to the fans and storage too.
Probably won’t get a response on this but I’ve been looking around everywhere for some answers lol I’m wondering if it’s at all possible to put 120mm fans in the case instead of 92? I have 2 extra fans from a previous build but they are 120mm so I’m nervous cause I want to put a cpu cooler in it as well and I can only find 120mm. Heeeeeelllllppppp 😂

I'm desperately trying to upgrade this PC and I'm watching videos and nothing ever looks the exact same as my PC and I'm afraid to buy a GPU that won't f****** fit
I upgraded the to the water cooling. If you go vids back, I upgrade the air cooling, and before that, it had the stock cooler. So you're not crazy. The acer can come with different parts depending on what you spend.
I have a N50-640 and want to upgrade to a RTX 4070. I bought a new psu to support it but it looks like I need a 24 pin to 6 pin connector. Im being told the motherboard in the N50-640 won't handle the 4070. Do you know if that's true?
@coffeeluvr_7565 what type of cpu fan do you have? I wanted to get sonetbing other than the noctua that technitwit did a tutorial on.. kinda new to doing these upgrades and this pc is so limited
