@@Skkra I feel like evo 2013 was better because everyone was at their highest in terms of skill. Chris G had not picked up Vergil here yet and Champ still wasn't as good as he became later on even though he won. Also because people had not yet realized how crazy zero was until 2013, so even though this top 8 had more character variety, in 2013 is when I believe we got to see the game being played at the highest level

Frutsy may have done well with MODOK at EVO but it was basic at best. MODOK has much more potential than what he did, but hell, he did good and got to top 8 EVO with this strategy anyways. Mad props for making it to top 8 EVO with the less used characters though.

Part 1. My heroes in Fgc culture are f champ and Chris g. I'm a fan of martial arts and the art of war in terms of strategy. I value many different martial (ares or mars the god of war. Martial is a regency to war and art) tech. They come in variety, skill, strategy, instinct. I value all but some more than others.
Justin wind embodies skill and determination. He's like the hulk only the more determined (rather than angry ) the more he wins.
Chris g is about strategy. But a specific one: resource management ( use your meter and create a situation where they waste theirs to be safe).
F champs is: FEAR. Fuck them and their meter you have fear and you can back it up. Cold War with the warmth. Don't escalate this shot unless you're ready for mutually assured destruction via power of destructor or pheonix
I like fchamp and Chris g's strats. I'm in between. I chip be make sure if you wanna go to war the wars fucking coming and not in your favor.
Not wond factor where it's skills and instinct. It's all out war and mind games.
